Wizarding World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Brick Clicker replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just wanted to note down some pure speculation for next summer: I think it's possible we'll see two D2C's with the theme performing so well and people, on the most part, loving the D2C's. I would guess Gringotts for sure as everything is pointing to us getting it next year but as the second one I think a UCS Knight Bus would work for the theme really well. The new design lead has worked on many of the previous Creator Expert cars so it seems a perfect match for us to see a set like that under the new influence of the design team. We could end up with something totally different but just wanted to put my thoughts out there before any rumours surface! -

It’s pretty much identical to the tram MOC featured above. Just swap the dark green with red and it’s pretty much the real thing! -

I think they are around the depth of the ones in Hogsmeade but both have pretty different building styles so it works well -

The toy store is pretty different to previous version and the architecture style really reminds me of Sesame street. The compromise of having two buildings and a tram means they and pretty shallow in depth but other areas of the set deffo make up for it -

Thank you aha! It could potentially be $120 now which the price hikes as it was originally $100 but the lighthouse didn’t get a price increase form it’s rumoured amount. It’s still the largest winter village set of all time in terms of piece count and with over 1600 pieces should still feel pretty good value -

It's Marvel and as much as we'd like it all to be it looks like it isn't No Way Home based sadly. I'd guess anything based on that film will be Summer 2023 at the earliest -

I wouldn't overthink or read into comments too much about the D2C made over the last couple of days as it's only going to temper expectations or make you get hopes up for something we might not get. At the end of the day we are around 3 months for release so detailed info we normally get for D2C's won't be long away. As with every set we get from Lego there will be people who like it and people who don't.
