    The cheapest way of getting a few minifigures from Germany to the Uk would be 8.99€ without insurance and tracking. If you want insurance and tracking, then it's 12.99€. That's all with DHL, every other company seems to be (much) more expensive.

    I just ordered on lego.de and the food truck was part of the order. It's also listed in the confirmation email. However, it only appeared at 20 past 1, not at midnight.

    Promobricks is asking people to subscribe to their English language youtube-channel. If I understood it correctly, they will show a picture of the set later today if they reach 1000 subscribers.

    I think it's actually fairly simple. People aren't willing to spend 400$/€ on a castle set, even though they'd really like to have one. I for one only bought the castle in LL Germany last weekend because I got it for 25% off. But I'd never have bought it at full price.

    Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere already, but there is a new contest on the Lego VIP site (at least in Germany, don't know about other countries). You can win a trip on the Hogwarts Express and must answer a few Harry Potter/Hogwarts Express related questions to enter the competition.

    I opened that one yesterday and downloaded the app. I must say I'm not a fan of the concept. The app and story feel quite tedious to me, so this will probably stay the only mission set for me. I'd have preferred printed instructions with the mission spelt out there to read in my own time. but 1 I bought it mainly for the animals and to try out the concept. but 2 I haven't tried the mission with my children yet. So maybe they like it more than me, them being the real target group I suppose.

    The good thing (among other things) about being a father of a boy and a girl is that I could always say the sets are for them. But I do remember feeling slightly awkward a few years ago when I bought the Destiny's Bounty at my local Toys'r'us. So I'd say it's a common enough sentiment.

    And again I agree. I ordered the fishing boat and Pursuit of Flight and I'm not sure how stable the fishing boat in particular will be. I'm also mildly interested in the aquarium in round 2, but I watched the 'designer video' and now I'm a bit uncertain whether it works well enough for me to buy it.

    Of course, you're right and I didn't want to suggest that for this round set prices have been raised. It's just that for me 250$ are too much. I'd much rather use that amount to buy some nice HP sets or next year's modular and something more.

    Bricklink has announced that the 2nd round will start November 9th and has published prices for the sets. After seeing the prices (I'd have liked the Seasons in time calendar), I have to say that I'm out for this round. That's just too much for me.

    The Lioness can usually be ordered by calling customer service directly. It might even be in stock now, as it has never shown up as in stock in the online shop (b&p). In Germany it costs about 7.25 €.

    Apparently it's still available at lego.com's UK page and at Zavvi, so either the production numbers aren't that limited or demand isn't as high as some comments on various fan sites have suggested.

    Until I saw the adapted version I wasn't keen on the original design. But now I think that I must try to get the station as well. What do you think how much this will be? I guess about 250 to 290 €.

    I feel the same way, even though I think the moments sets are quite ok and the Hogsmead set is on a par with the 2018-20 sets. The Harry and Hermione buildable figures seem quite nice, but too expensive. So I won't buy a lot of HP Lego this year as the new castle sets don't really interest me.
