  1. Fantastic build! The shaping is excellent.
  2. Hello everyone, I just finished building the Marilyn Monroe set. I couldn't wait to get this set so I ordered it on bricklink, because it's not yet released in North America regions. Anyways, here's my review! This set has 3341 pieces and the retail price is $119.99 Build: Studs, studs, and more STUDS!!! Plenty of pieces left over. Parts: Again, studs, studs, more studs and 9 baseplates. There are also several other pieces included. The completed model: I am very happy with the completed model. It looks beautiful close up, and even more beautiful from far away! I've never seen such a beautiful mosaic that the LEGO group made. It's also amazingly accurate. I can tell that the designers had done their best job trying to make this accurate. It was also larger than I expected. Conclusion: It's an excellent display piece, and it's an excellent price as well! You are absolutely getting a lot of bricks for your money. I personally liked the build, but other people may or may not enjoy it. So overall, I'm extremely delighted with this set. 10/10
  3. I understand that CITY sets are more expensive in general, but that's still way to much.
  4. You're lucky to find it for that cheap! I had to pay the RRP when I bought this set.
  5. $160 would be more reasonable...
  6. Oh wow, I like it a lot, but I feel cheated that they are asking $200 for it...
  7. Thanks for your comment. I thought of including images, but I feel like my photography skills needs a lot of improvement... I will include pictures when I feel ready to... The design, when compared to other classic sets, still feels a bit lacking... Great LEGO Ideas project by the way.
  8. Welcome to my next review! In this review, you will find out if the 11009 is a good set and is it worth adding it into your collection. Anyways, let's begin! The builds looks kind of cool, but I think it looks somewhat weird to me... Hopefully it's just me but I find the color scheme kind of messy and I would rather prefer something that uses only 1 or 2 colors. I think my favorite is the shark and the ghost, which looks cool. But most other builds just isn't appealing to me. For example, the pirate ship. As a pirate fan, I'm happy to see a pirate ship included, and I truly appreciate that LEGO included it, but it just looks unfinished to me. On the bright side, the shadows are really cool to make and definitely great for kids... And it represents great value of money... This is definitely a great set for kids. The design isn't perfect, but kids probably won't care much. I recommend this one.
  9. Hello everyone! Here's my review of the 21026 Venice Skyline that I bought a while ago. The build: Honestly, nothing special. Done in 30 minutes. The completed model: The finished model is a real beauty - with a pleasant color scheme and very charming buildings. All landmarks are instantly recognizable. It's impossible to capture all the details in just 212 pieces but I think the designer really did his best job. Also, it does not use a single sticker! To sum it up, a great display piece and definitely an eyecatcher. Rare parts: Microfigure statue (90398) 2x2 stud with white wing lion printing (3003) 1x8 tile with Venice Printing (4162) Conclusion: This is an excellent set. Great value, great parts pack, and a great display piece. Unfortunately it's retired, so you will probably have to fork out a lot more than the Retail Price to get this beauty. I will highly recommend it if you can find it for a good price. My score: 10/10 Many thanks for reading. Comment your thoughts below.
  10. @merman@makoy, it's the 21323 instead of the 21313.
  11. The 30550 was a GWP offered in March, but is it a good one? Read to find out! The build was relatively simple, with pretty clever building techniques. The end result is quite cute. The parts are nothing special, really. But it's decent for a GWP So overall, a great freebie. The build is surprisingly good for its size, and the end result is cute. You're in for a nice build if you managed to get one!

Lower the deck, drive on board, apply the transportation lock and you're ready to roll! This LEGO® Technic™ toy truck set introduces LEGO builders to the basics of engineering. Realistic features and functions for hours of play and design exploration. This Car Transporter toy is compatible in scale the LEGO® Technic™ 42093 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 for extended play opportunities. Car Transporter measures over 8” (22cm) high, 33” (86cm) long and 5” (13cm) wide. Blue car measures over 3” (8cm) high, 10” (27cm) long and 4” (12cm) wide. LEGO® Technic™ Truck and Show Cars measures over 5” (14 cm) high, 34” (87 cm) long and 5” (15 cm) wide. The Car: It’s very, very similar to the 42093 Chevrolet Corvette. They’re roughly the same size and uses similar building techniques. I think the color looks great, but blue wheels would have been nice… Another thing I notice is that it’s begging for suspension. It would have took so little to add it! A higher ground clearance would also be nice… With that being said, it’s still a nice little car that’s enjoyable to build and play with. Front section of the Transporter: Let’s start off with its looks. It looks amazingly lifelike and there’s no denying it. So many nice details are included! However, I have one complaint: There’s way too much stickers and some of them could be printed parts instead, because it’s hard to attach a sticker perfectly… It has enough spots to fit 3 cars and can be connected with the trailer. Last but not least, the trailer: All mechanisms of the trailer are fairly similar to the truck. For example, the lock system and the loading platform. When the truck and the trailer are connected, it measures a whopping 86 cm! The completed model: First impression: It’s HUGE, and way bigger than I was originally anticipating! I had to find a place where I can display such a huge model… It’s actually incredibly close to the real proportions of a Car Transporter. Conclusion: So, what not to like? Huge size, great playability, great looks, and great pieces. I only wish that suspension was included for the car, but that is a very minor issue. Even the price of $179.99 seems perfectly reasonable for such a large model, so I would not hesitate to recommend this set. 10 out of 10, yes, it’s that great!
  13. You can't really expect much from a GWP. But for what it is, I'm quite happy.
  14. It’s a reasonable GWP, but it’s not without its faults though. For example, it’s too small to actually hold pictures, and it could have included more pieces for customization. Nonetheless, I’m quite happy with my GWP and it’s worth a buy if you can find it for a cheap price. 8/10
  15. Amazing build!
  16. Nice!
  17. Congrats @Kristel, @Aurore, @kritch!
  18. Cool :)
  19. Product description: Celebrate green energy innovation with the LEGO® Creator Expert 10268 Vestas Wind Turbine. Developed in partnership with Vestas, this detailed, motorized LEGO model captures the elegance and graceful movement of a traditional wind turbine and features a new-for-January 2019 spruce tree, manufactured from sustainably sourced plant-based plastic. At approximately 39” (1m) high, the structure towers above a wooded hill and a house with furnished patio, mailbox, flowers and a white picket fence. Turn the nacelle left or right and switch on the included Power Functions motor to rotate the adjustable wind turbine blades and illuminate the cottage’s porch light. This collectible model has been designed to provide a challenging and rewarding building experience with a touch of nostalgia and makes a great display piece for the home or office. This big LEGO set also includes a Vestas service vehicle and 3 minifigures: 2 Vestas service technicians kitted out with safety helmets and a woman, plus a dog figure. Construction: The build begins with a little van that actually looks quite realistic compared to the real version. It also includes a tool box which slides into the an. Next up is the little house. It’s actually quite simple, but nonetheless includes great details such as a cooker, a sink, and a little lamp. My favorite part is the lights on either sides of the doors, and the neat routing of cables under the green plates located behind the building. A sloped roof finishes off the house before building the hill behind it. It uses rare BURP pieces that haven’t appeared in many sets. Behind the cottage is the hilly landscape made up of some green BURPs. The base of the tower is connected using some Technic pins and bricks which makes it pretty sturdy. On the top of the hills are some of the Plants from Plants trees which we get two of. The battery box is hidden inside the hill. Once it’s on, the yellow Technic beam allows the switch to be operated from the back. The main tower is assembled all the way from the bottom, they are held with standard technic pins, which makes it quite unstable. The three blades are assembled after that. Notable elements: -6x12 tile with Vestas logo printing -Panel 1x4x3 with Vestas logo printing -Green BURP (Mountain Bottom) pieces -32x32 baseplate -Vestas worker minifigure The completed model: I think this model is a great set to display because of appearance -- even better when the blades are operating. The house looks amazing as well with lots of details! One thing I don’t like is that it feels unstable, but excusable for an old school set. Welcome back to 2007! If this set was a magic item: +10 to understanding how wind turbines work +9 to accuracy +9 to display value -7 to wallet -100 to space in your room Pros: -Incredibly accurate -Huge size! -Detailed house -No stickers! -Neat cable management -Accurate, detailed van -Good for play or display -Great parts pack Cons: -Unstable -Short build time for the price -No numbered bags -Extremely high PPP at $0.24 cents per piece Conclusion: This set makes an impressive display piece, and a great set for kids as well! Just watching it is incredibly fun. My only real complaint is that it’s a bit unstable, but other than that I have nothing negative to say about this model. I rate it a 10/10. Thanks for reading.
  20. Man, hope you'll be back...
