He attempts to break the doorknob, by bending it upwards, but only succeeds in tearing the whole mechanism straight out of the door, leaving it with nothing holding it in place. His attempt at shovel ramming proves that he far stronger than he thought he was and the door splinters right off its hinges onto the pile of weary residents on the other side. They would no doubt be upon him in moments. "Where are those blasted girls off to, already? Hold them off, if you can Kellim. They look really mad." Just as Cheapy says that, Quintessa and Kheyli emerge from the pantry, Quintessa quite loaded down with goodies. "Or who needs the statuette when we can have a picnic instead!" The three barbarians may use the time the residents are struggling under the door to prepare themselves, should they feel the need.

I cannot help but listen, rather intrigued, by the conversation between the vampire and the big green mass.

"I'm coming, Torald. I'll get to you in a moment. Ezeran should go first since he is fighting from the back row." Petaldan rushes to the scene of the Battle Battle Order: >Ezeran: Gelatinous Blob (Sapphamber Staff) Torald: Blob A (Sludge Glaive) >Wolfwind: Presumably Blob B???

"Come on, girls, let's get rid of these intruders." "Are you crazy? He looks armed for battle." "Don't be such a baby! We are farmers. We are strong. We can beat anybody. Wait until they get a feel of this." "Yeah, let's do it." Just as the room inhabitants begin approaching Kellim, he slams the door shut. He feels pounding on the other side, but he's pretty big. Locking maybe difficult as there is no key and the door opens to the inside, but perhaps Kellim can think of something. "If you can hold them off for now, I think I may be able to find a way to enter this door here. I do hope we'll have a chance to sample that food in the pantry though."

The three of you completely disappeared after that quest.

Petaldan tries to scrap the gunk away with his sword if Torald's Hammer doesn't work.

Kheyli succeeds in slipping behind the large Kellim and to the room where Quintessa is.

"You're welcome. I noticed you didn't have one, but I know Ezeran does."

"I would give it to Wolfwind, if I were you, he could use some extra protection."

"Ahem! Greetings everyone! Most of you know me, already, but my Name is Parfenius Petaldan, and apparently I will be leading this little expedition. Before we begin, it may be a good idea for some of us, especially my two good friends Torald and Ezeran, to see whether we have any items that may be of use to any others." So saying, Petaldan unstraps Daugslyr from his belt and hands it to Hunkan and then takes out his Emerald and hands it to Wolfwind. "Here, you can make better use of these than I can, during this quest. Please return them by its ending. Oh, and as far as these artifacts are concerned, I think the Goggles should go to Hunkan, and the Sterile Gloves to Kid.

I head to Anywl's and Upgrade Two of my Slimy Swords to WP:2 and then go to Portia's and buy One Potion and One Smoke Bomb from Dain. 20+20+5+5=50 gold spent.

"Yes, well, I developed quite a name for myself, you see. When I was 2 years old I slew the King of the evil Ogres who were attacking the realm. I also slew one great dragon, but after that life became rather quite in our country..." Petaldan beamed with delight. "Oh, dear, Mr Vampire, you have not been chosen, I would so much have liked to quest with you, but perhaps another day. Wow! We're almost the exact same party that headed to the Fields. Let's hope more of us can stay on our feet this time around." Lost in thought, I am awakened from my reverie by the imposing presence before me. Panic is the first thing to set it. "Oh, um, of course...er...take it, please. It's yours."

Quintessa realizes it might take time to pack everything into her pack.

Emilie turns from the scene before her back to the heroes, Kellim's calm voice doing little to pacify her. "Hey! Who's the nice man?" "Ha, ha! I'll get you now."
