  1. I rub my eyes groggily as Matthias woke me up. "What was that? Oh...er...I was just dreaming about my Guardian Angel...I mean...ahem!" I quickly repeat my attack on the next Sour Plum Fairy.
  2. I chuckle as the gnome promptly falls asleep and quickly use a Remedy on Matthias before Repeating my attack.
  3. I repeat my attack. "Gnome, would you like me to use a Remedy on you, or will you heal yourself?"
  4. "How very odd. In any case, it's good that we discovered this plotter before we tasted his repast."
  5. I Dual-Strike the Sour Plum Fairy from the Front Row. I'm pretty sure different QMs have ran it differently, but am I allowed to target the Sour Plum Fairy and Dual-Strike the enemy above her, or can it only be the enemy below her?
  6. My post from this morning seems to have just not gone through. "All this armour is rather uncomfortable," I mutter. Swapping the Darksteel Armour for the Cloak of the Grand Vizier. I also remove the Soul Link Chain and select the Alchemist's "Instant Items" trait, before following the party. "My apologies, Mister Leseig. Some of these new heroes...they get themselves into trouble easily. I had better excuse myself with them and see what the commotion is all about." I say, before leaving.
  7. I'm still not sure what job trait to copy. I was thinking perhaps Paragon's "Initiative" or "Aura of Honour." Otherwise, perhaps just "Restoration" or something. Other things I thought of were Skirmishers' "Assistance" or Alchemist's "Instant Items." Any ideas party?
  8. "Sounds like automatons to me. It could be for the best that they're removed..." I mutter to myself, then ask Leseig. "This creature...did you actually catch him stealing the presents?"
  9. I cast a glance at Vindsval. "I am Monk Pretzel, an Artisan of Heroica."
  10. "That we are," I reply cordially. "I did not know you celebrated the orcish festivals."
  11. After taking my drink, I offer Nerwen 5 gold in case she intended to pay all at once for the sake of convenience and not as a kindness. "Rowdy? I hope the business it makes is worth the trouble."
  12. "What if we can setup a complete new city within Eubric that operates independently of the houses? Surely there are ways. Perhaps the best idea would be to shift the population out of Eubric slowly but surely. We could build farms, fisheries, mines even. The houses have a long hand, but not that long."
  13. "Civil? You just accused me of wanting the feed the poor of Eubric to a Wolf. Do you expect a serious answer to the silliest of questions. If you really thought I was that evil anyway, would you expect me to answer truthfully? Perhaps you should learn manners first before expecting that you deserve the respect of others." I turn away from Vindsval and nod to our party leader as she approaches. "I suppose we should be off then."
  14. "A civil war is inevitable, perhaps, but we must not find ourselves on the losing side of it and if we care about the people at all, we will not rush into it until we know the cost on them will not be too high. Can you imagine the disastrous consequences it would have on them if we would lose? Furthermore, if we don't start the people working in the right direction now, then when we take over the city, they will not be prepared to follow us, but will throw the city into an anarchy that will just lead to more bloodshed between the inhabitants of the hovels."
  15. "I hardly expect you to understand these things, but I can't help but laugh at your words. If all greenskins share your mind, the Paladins of Ennoc have nothing to fear."
  16. "I must say that while I feel that destroying the wall is the better solution. All hell would break loose in Eubric if we were to do it. Can we restrain the people? We hardly have the numbers. I fear that destroying the wall may lead to a civil war which may hurt the people more than help them. If the Bonapartes were to attack with force, I'm not sure we have the manpower to resist without a catastrophic loss of life. I am almost tempted to turn to the other side of this debate now." I shrug uncomfortably.
  17. "You know, we the Wolfkin's followers also have bread lines, soup kitchens, if you will. We try to feed whom we can, but there's almost always more than we can handle. Nevertheless, you're always welcome to have a look at one of ours. Though, perhaps you have already seen them at work. It's good to see that others are concerned about Eubric's poor as well. As for your concerns about the Wolfgang, you should lay them at rest. The organization is being cleaned up daily. I have personally made it my business to do so and to help the Wolfkin himself see the need for such a cleanup. You really should stop by some day to see the work we're doing for the poor. You may be surprised at how tamed the Wolves have become. You really should come and see for yourself. I'm sure the Wolfkin will be more than happy to support your organization in any way he can if you will just inform him that you too are working for the people of Eubric." Ugh, these are the sorts of people who we're trying to rescue! They're probably better off remaining in the hovels. I put on a kindly face as he hands me the gift.
  18. I arrive on the scene after the others. "I believe I forgot what it was like to leave the hall. It's been quite a while of just sitting around there. Dull!" I look in distaste down at the Grumpkin at first, but quickly remember where I had just come from and my manner changes. "Raising for the poor of Eubric! That is a cause that I never fail to give to." I hand over 65 gold. "I wish them a merry Grogmas then and hope this can go some way in relieving their suffering at least for a little while. The Wolfkin is rising and when he does the poor of the hovels will rise with him. Until then, may this donation help them in some way." I desperately hope the other heroes hadn't heard my Wolfgang spiel. I made some marketplace purchases and have already edited the stats on my Statistics. Also, I still am not entirely sure what "copying another classes ability" is? Is it their job trait or battle style?
  19. I head into the Marketplace with a weight bag of gold. "Portia, be a dear and bag these for me, will you?" I purchase: 4 Grand Potions 4 Grand Tonics 6 Remedies 4 Smelling Salts 5 Nostrums 5 Mulled Wines 2 Confuse Bombs 2 Stun Bombs Upgrade Dual Staff to WP:9 and WP:10. Total: 1100 * 0.75 = 825 Gold.
  20. Just got back from a trip. It's late now, but I'll check out my stats tomorrow and see if I need to make any purchases before Quest 155. Sorry for the delay.
  21. "A bomb for the wall?" I say skeptically. "You're going to need a lot of firepower for that, and it's very unlikely that you'll have the power to take down the wall without taking down much more than just it. Surely the hovels will provide us with enough manpower to remove it without the use of explosives.
  22. "While I agree with you that there resorting to thievery and stealing would be contrary to the goals of our organization. I can't really see that destroying the wall would accomplish a whole lot. The hovels have existed before the wall was built and likely will go on existing. All the same, destroying the wall would certainly be the preferred action.
  23. Just a question: does the gift for Monk Pretzel have to be equipped in order for him to use the other classes abilities? Or is it more like a tool? I know it says artifact, but the description would make one believe it might be used otherwise.
  24. Hey! Welcome back, Khorne. Good to see you.
