    Pretzel's bad luck continues. Even the pretzel he got for Grogmas did nothing for him.

    I must not have been paying enough attention. I'm rather clueless. I love reading these kinds of quests like this one or Etzel's last, but I'm not sure how good I'd be at actually finding out the answer.

    I don't know if I can say that the quest took a turn for the better as far as being interesting is concerned since that battle began. But whatever floats your boat. I thought it was a permanent +5 health boost, but it's just 5 HP.

    I take my stuff back from Sylph. "I'll purchase that Neutralizer if it's all the same to you." I fork over 33 gold. "Let's just pass by Shelby's one last time." I believe Sylph healed Pretzel and himself.

    "I thank you for your time, Mr. Padfoot...you wouldn't happen to be in need of healing, would you?" I turn to the party. "Perchance we can stop by Shelby's and the bar on our way out in case they have new goods or anyone has new thoughts on their items." "Also, I wouldn't mind taking a nap to restore my inner strength, but I somehow doubt we have the time as the assassin may leave."

I don't know why I keep double-posting so much this quest. Sometimes the editor doesn't work for me, but I'll certainly endeavour to use it more. "After all our running around, I would like to take a nap right around now," I mutter to the party. I guess sleeping in our bedrolls is not an option, is it?

    CMP, just realized that I should have 55 gold, because I sold the Magnifying glass to Shelby for 15 gold.

    Well, technically it's not stealing since if it weren't for Pretzel those items would have gone to waste. Besides, it just sounded like something he'd do. "Not a problem. I can get down to brass tacks quickly enough, I think. Perhaps Mr. Moke here, can correct me if I'm wrong. I am sure you will find, as we have found that he is not guilty of an crime whatsoever, but was only doing what he thought was best for your community. You see, there was a threat from the outside, a gang who were threatening your peaceful habitation, so instead of letting a conflict ensue, Mr. Moke paid them off. Thankfully, we used our influence to intimidate them and took down a few of their members while at it. You will not be getting trouble from their gang in the near future. That's the short of it, if you want more, do not fail to ask...one more thing...actually, may I request to speak to you privately about something?"

    By the time you're an expert class there may be relatively few enemies around with that low health. 1000 may be pretty average, unfortunately.

    I furtively glance around to see if the rest of the party are still in the vicinity and can see the treasure, if they have already walked away, I use my Magnificent Magniscope to check. "I would love to Monsieur le Baron, but in all honesty, Mr. Moke is the only one who knows the true story from its beginning, so perhaps he had better explain himself. Perhaps when he's done we will fill in any gaps that we can in the parts that Mr. Moke cannot relate."

    I shrug. Perhaps I should have poisoned my blade, I muse thoughtfully. Maybe if I run you into debt you'll be forced to give me the Muckraker in payment. Gold aside, that is a real offer though. I hand Sylph, Nessa, and Erik a Mulled Wine (still can't decide whether Pretzel drinks or not, I'm kind of thinking yes, but...) each and store the 50 Gold and the extra 30 from Erik in the party's treasury (in my possession) for safekeeping.

How many people's first chance have they removed, I wonder. They have as long as they worked in the Wolfgang to change their ways.     Could anyone else have seen Dreyrugr selling his Musky Mushroom on the Black Knight's Market and then the buyer finding out it is a counterfeit product that reduces their health? Cross-legged? I have to say that I rushed back up to the picture to see what I had missed and was disappointed.

    Just for clarity's sake, does that include the 50 gold you stole from Difur and Big Red and the Grand Potion from Difur? CMP, the correct amount is 20, I assume?
