I haven't yet decided what I am going to use for the shrouds. Maybe I will use LEGO flex tube or maybe I will make the shrouds from strings. But using 3 mm nylon tubing is definitely an option.

Thank you so much for this wonderful design Supersick_! I have already picked up the instructions from Rebrickable. This is going to be so much fun building this ship from real LEGO bricks! By the way, are you also going to design/make a lower hull section for this ship? I would be interested in a lower hull so I can put the complete ship up for display. Cheers, and many thanks again.

Hi Supersick_, Before I ask my question, I want to say I love all your ship designs (Barracuda Brig, Fer Maiden, Supernaut and L'Anubis). I recently bought Barracuda Brig and FerMaiden from Rebrickable and I'm having a blast with it. I'm very much a big fan of the full hull designs. Keep up the good work! I know you are very busy with the L'Anubis project but can you give an update on the HMS Supernaut? I would love to have a crack at it and build it in real life. There is something about a heavy frigate I cannot resist. Thank you very much!

Anders, Thank you so much for sharing your LDD file! Amazing stuff going on with this design. Stuff of legends! I'll be busy figuring out and trying to build this model for the forseeable future.

Hi Anders T, Since I'm a new member I can't send you a PM yet until I have reached 10 posts. I'm mostly interested in the LDD file for the Surprise. I'd like to have a go at it to make a LEGO model out of it as you did. Very impressive! Currently reading the series of books, that's why it peaked my interest.
