Thing is, right, that it doesnt make a lot of sense no matter which franchise the set belongs to. Like getting only a +4 and a 500€ set for DC is extremely surreal, but getting 3 +200€ sets for Marvel feels very weird too.

Honestly I think we should let go the hope for a NWH set. Like, sure, spider-man will always be a Best Seller, so releasing it 1-2 years later wouldnt affect the sales that much, but at that point it just wouldnt make a lot of sense to release a set based on the movie.

No way people are happy with 2 characters per show, that would let too many characters out.

That'd be cool, but with 12 figures max, I don't see how they could cover more than 4 series.

Dwight's gotta be my favourite figure on the set, he looks so unique and is such a good translation of the character!

I find extremely amusing that you guys complain about how Lego is always making the same sets over and over, and yet in an hypothetical scenario where you can make whatever set you want, you still decide to go with Arkham Asylum and a Batcave.

Wasnt the remake thing an excuse to have some sets because Disney just didnt want to show anything from the actual movie? I dont think they'll be that needlessly secretive with Black Panther

Okay first of all, why would they have surprise DC sets at Lego Con? Like dont you think they'd want to advertise that? Secondly, why would they announce they've discontinued the theme? Like they still sell DC sets at stores? If they had discontinued the theme they wouldnt be selling those? Are you aware DC can sell the licence to several companies at once? Just because Lego has it doesnt mean someone else cant make DC toys. Source: We have other toy companies making DC toys.

Looks like someone has More Bias against Dr Michael Morbius 🧐 No, but jokes aside, those last weeks I've been thinking how hilarious it would be in hindsight if they actually added Morbius to the Bugle set. Wasn't he teased (ironically) in the Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum?

If they'd added a Morbius minifigure the set would sell out on day 1

Okay, after overdosing on copium I'm okay with the minifigures, nothing that we can't fix (like we shouldnt need to moc a set for it to be good but anyway). The building is amazing and I'm sure it will look great once you out it next to a different modular to hide the empty wall, but paying 250€ is going to hurt

I mean, I'd say that the new spidey is, at best, a slight upgrade of the previous one, but I do agree that the minifigure selection is extremely dissapointing

Exactly! Like I want Lego Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina as much as the next guy, but having the Statue of Liberty fight makes no sense. I dont mean to condescend anyone, but doing that scene means thet either make the statue too small/use the construction site (making it extremely boring as a set) or they make a giant statue (at which point its just a creator set that happens to have spiderman on it). I know we all want to get all the minifigures, but I'd rather getting a cooler/more interesting location even if its not very accurate tbh
