Yeah, I mean release date, but when did we hear about a reveal on the 22?

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

this is my favourite sentence to come out of the Morbious meme thank you -
thought it came out on October 2nd

Now that you mention it, I'm surprised we're not getting Teen Titans Go sets (or at least sets with the characters). Warner loves to run the show 24/7 on Cartoon Network, sl kids know for sure who the characters are. I am totally aware they were in Lego Dimensions but that pretty much does not count.

Maybe it's just me but instead of making 4 Black Panther sets they should've made 2 that were actually good or appealing to look at. -
Kinda curious how good it would look with an engine added into it, those are pretty bulky aren't they?
-
I mean the description does *look* interesting

Very interesting stuff! I take the tram is indeed compatible with the system tracks. I wonder how big it is, thought? It can fit 4 minifigures and can be modified to include an engine, so it needs to be fairly big. As a matter of fact, the whole set sounds pretty big, but it's only 100€ so that seems impossible. I'm so excited to see how it turns out, will definetly get it.

Just out of curiosity, in what other instances have we got Lego referencing a meme/popular culture? -

You know, fellas, I've been thinking about it and y'all got a point about the statue of liberty thing. Maybe it's not my jam, but I'm glad it's something important for you, sorry if I came out as rude. A reference to Tommy Wiseau's vampire car in The Room (2003). Obviously Ant-Man is a given, but if I had to choose between Wasp and Ant-Man Jr, I'd think Lego would go for the later (probably getting both, tho). And since we need a bad guy for the heroes to fight Modok seems like a good concept for a build! Inb4 we actually get a repeat of Antman and the Wasp figures fighting Walton Goggins' character with their gi-ant monster truck. I'd love to get a Zemo minifigure because his outfits are always amazing, but I don't really see them fitting in the movie. Maybe Zemo as the villain/antagonist, but Abomination doesn't seem to fit there (then again they bought him back so they're defenetly using him at some point) -

Each store is it's own separate building or are they next to each other? Probably the former, right?
-
Wait, did we ever get a Lego Ideas star wars set? Or it was just allowed but never ended up happening?
-
5 sounds about right. At the very least we need each store's owner, a troley driver and 1 citizen. That's 4, so add a kid for good measure and we end up with 5 minifigures.

Yes but that's not the point. Sorry if the ugly statue thing was too harsh, I was only being hyperbolic. Sure, but the kind of people that use Brickset is people who already collect legos, which doesn't seem to be the particular target of this specific set. So yes, I'm fairly confident if you asked the same in a black panther forum the answer would be different. Not that I think the set its going to ne a best seller or anything, but internet polls are usually not very reliable. -

Okay, to be totally fair. Obviously the target of this set is not the average Eurobricks user, it's more focused to Black Panther fans rather than Lego Fans, so that poll is totally irrelevant. It would be like making a poll in the Marvel forums asking if they'll watch the new Marvel movie: of course it will be extremely biased. Okay, I really don't want to come out as mean, but why do you all want that statue of liberty scene as a set so much? Like I do agree that making the 500€ set the NWH one would be a genious move because people because it would sell based on minifigures alone. But ignoring the minifigures would you like the scenery itself? Like it's just a construction site with an ugly statue showing from the top. Is this a north-american thing that I don't get because I'm european? It's because its a national monument that you just happen to like or it's solely because of the movie? Not trying to be inquisitive, just genuinely curious. -
Toy shop, let's go! So excited about this!

I agree with her being a good choice, but I don't know if she'd be instantly recognisable without Quasimodo next to her. Now that you mention Donald, gives me the idea, what if we get another Donald Duck minifigure in the CMF, this one with the old black and white suit?
-
I stand corrected! Pretty interesting stuff, though! Looks like they could do it if they really wanted it, but that it's not worth all the trouble of fighting for the licensing. Never would've guessed, you'd think the movie with monkeys and apes would be more popular.
-
What are you talking about, they're not doing merchandise because Tarzan is a movie from 1999 that's just not that popular anymore. That's a rumour that started because he wasn't in any subsequent Kingdom Hearts games. Disney can't lose the license to their version of Tarzan, it's a different version from the original one. While it would be really cool to get characters from THOND, seems very unlikely, because there's no way they can do, well, the titular Hunchback with the regular torso piece, and if they use a special torso for him he kinda stops being a lego minifigure.

I know I'm repeating myself, but still. It's not that I think this is a bad set, it's just that it's mind blowing how weird of a decision this is. Like sure, Black Panther was a box office hit and everything, but this is the kind of thing Lego usually does for Spider-Man. How come Black Panther 2 got more sets than NWH? (I know it wasn't a case of "one thing or the other", my point is that this is all very surreal) -

Wait, so does this mean that the Hulkbuster is the 500€ set? Or this is a third set totally unrelated to the Hulkbuster and the 500€ set? -
Lego hasn't even celebrated the Marvel theme (a theme that actually sells, mind you), I don't know why all of a sudden we're acting surprised BTAS' anniversary didn't get any sets.
-
Are you implying those two things mean the same? I'd think that Sorcerer Mickey is a given. There is a zero percent chance we don't get Mickey at all, and this is pretty much the only main variant we're missing. Like if we didn't get Steamboat Willy already I'd think we'd get a new head that looks like the old animation style, but that's not happening now. Either we get Sorcerer Mickey or something stupid no one asked for like Mickey with a golden tuxedo.
