I think a lot of this is a stretch if you're basing it on his announcement. The post made it pretty clear that he's been wanting to move away from a managerial role for more than just a year. I work in tech and this happens all the time - a strong individual contributor goes into management and then realizes they love building more than managing, so they side-step into a master role where they can be an individual contributor again. I didn't see this as him moving on due to the direction of the team, so coming to that conclusion would be pure speculation.

That's true. The preliminary photos including Hogwarts jumpers makes me think that the set will also have them, but who knows. All I know is that it'll be very difficult for me to justify purchasing the chess set if it re-uses figures from a much cheaper set

Y'all wouldn't want the trio in their movie-accurate outfits from the end of that film? I've personally been waiting for a Harry minifigure in that red sweater. If those figures are exclusive to the chess set, I think they'd be pretty desirable. Anyway, my top 3 are: 1. Hogsmeade - amazing build and figures, just wish it included more buildings 2. Chess set - this has a ton of potential and could look incredible if they do it right 3. Myrtle's bathroom - because Cat Hemione :P 4 (but basically tied for 3). Chamber of Secrets - I'm mainly just annoyed we're getting another great hall build (which looks much worse), but the figures are solid and the official pictures could make it look better

So then it's more likely that the Fluffy set represents the scene where they first find the corridor (wearing their jumpers), and Kingwong's post confirms that the chess set will include the trio in their end of movie outfits.

Kingwong just posted a picture of Ron in his outfit from the end of Philosopher's Stone. I'm guessing that means the minifigure should come in the Forbidden Corridor set (since his earlier McGonagall post was for Hogsmeade, another June set)

Welp, to me, this seems to indicate that the entire August wave will be 18+ and targeted towards adults. It's hard to market buildable figures and large chess sets towards kids.
