Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I would be interested in forest-themed police station, rather than urban police stations. Speaking of forest…do we have ranger station sets before? -

You could be right. However, we still have hope for normal baby crocodile mold in future! -
Thank you for pointing me out! Things somehow crossed my mind when I typed down. And yeah, I agreed with you on on the real animal selves!

Hear ya. ONce I got both elephant calf and sheep, they are good, which perfect for CMF. Just like recolored dolphin mold was seen in reglar CMF Series 21. And BMX bike (i know it’s not animifigures :) ) was in Series 19. Agreed. And some of us thought new barn owl mold showed up in one of those new Harry Potter sets this year but we found out it will show up in polybag “Herimone’s Study Desk” later.

Jurassic World 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
Lion King replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yup, right. Also, I will add one more thing - moderator (Like Captian Nemo) will create a new forum for 2022 (from Jan 1 to Dec 31), not us. I am sure we did talk about this one a few months ago. Too bad my birthday is not in September but I can wait a bit more until new Jurassic World sets hit shelves on Sept 1st! -
I am a fan of fantasy and realistic stuffs. I really don’t mind if Winter Village set would be either fantasy or realistic this year. Like…what about Santa’s Reindeer Stable?! Or snow-capped library?! Just random ideas I throw… I would be extremely disappointed if they cancel this unknown Winter Village set this year… I don’t get it why they should do that.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Hey folks! Recently, I heard the rumor there is a rumor around Promobricks. And it’s in Disney+ / Marvel CMF series. I’m not sure if it’s considered as “spoilable” since I don’t watch any Disney+’s Marvel tv shows at all. If it’s true, why would baby crocodile not be included in Wildlife Rescue sets in the first place? It would be unfair if Marvel would not let City steal their thunder. -
I have a same thought. It’s kinda unfair for City if that rumor turns out to be true. Well, we will wait and see about future regular CMF series. I agree with you - I think this year is the best year for animifigures. If my memories serve right, We have elephant calf and lion cub this year. Heck, more juvenile animifigures, please! I am curious to see what is in Series 22 next year. :)

I mean, I don’t watch Marvel tv shows on Disney+ at all. If it’s true, why baby crocodile mold will not be included in Wildlife Rescue sets in the first place? We have crocodile egg and full-grown crocodile. Not fair if Marvel doesn’t want City to steal its thunder… -
Just a few minifigure ideas popped into my ideas for you. What about Jungle Boy (reference to Tarzan or George of the Jungle books)? not sure about classical sci-fi characters from books instead of movies but think one robotic minifigure should be great.

You too, tell us about your dark age!
Lion King replied to Celeri's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thank you folks! I greatly appreciate your kind words. Yes it’s very sad but lI sure hope there would be a cure against blindess and Usher’s Syndrome. While wiating for a cure, I will try my best to pursue a fun hobby as much as I can! -
Fairytale Princess? Fairy? Wizard? Evil Wizard? King? Queen? Ice Queen (reference to Hans Christian Anderson’s Snow Queen)? King Ocean (referring to Anderson’s the Little Meramid)? Grandma Vsiitor?

You too, tell us about your dark age!
Lion King replied to Celeri's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I started to play with LEGO at age of 6 or 7. I found that LEGO bring me some wonderful and creative times when I built my own city out of colorful plastic bricks. I was not aware of LEGO’s decline in 2001 when I was 10 years. I was fascinated by Bionicle and Harry Potter themes. When I was in high school in 2006, I was too afraid what other teenagers would think of me playing/collecting LEGO so I abandoned my wonderful hobbies in order to be a stereotypical cool teenager (I know, it was a stupid idea). And my dark age began… Fast-forward to the late 2013 When I heard about the LEGO Movie during a college time, that brought joy to me. I realized something important - I really miss my old hobby. When the LEGO movie was released, my college freinds and I went to a movie theater to watch that movie. I love that movie! So it led me to wonder if LEGO had that TLM sets so I checked the LEGO website and saw so many new sets, including Collectible Minifigures. I took a few minifigures to my college dorms. After graduating from college in 2015, I started to collecting more and more sets. This made me feel like I was a kid again! Fast-forward to the present day I am about to enter my se icond dark (literally) age. This is a heart-breaking moment - I am diagnosed with User’s Syndrome (combination of graduation loss of vision and deafness). I am born deaf and I start to lose my sight. It’s hard to see colors, minifigure’s details, stickers, etc. Sometimes I am thinking about abandoning my LEGO hobby once again but I am determine to pursue my fun hobby! I’m still collecting minifigures from Collectible Minifigures and some sets from City, Harry Potter, and Marvel. -
Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Ohh that could make sense about rediscovering/exploration! and I agree with @Powered by Bricks, City does indeed have some strong influence from Friends. I would assume Farming, Coast Guard Guard, and Forest as potential subthemes based on hints from within City theme and/or from Freinds’ subthemes. I am not still 100% convinced that Arctic subtheme would make its return in 2022 since there are no hints from City or Freinds themes for Arctic at the moment. However, if Artic (or Boreal Forest) subtheme comes back, I would hope for an orca mold. And of course, I am all in for animifigures (animal minfigures or animal minifigures). For Coast Guard sets, I would expect to see seal mold but I would not be surpsied to see another shark. For Forest, I would expect to see raccoon, fox or fawn/deer molds. Okay, I should not look into it too much! Sorry folks if I get your hopes high. It’s just my opinion. You make some good points! I agree with you on Police having their own subthemes (outside City, such as Mountain, Forest, and Swamp) or inside (Air and Postal). -

Oh I like that idea of forest in northern region of this world! No i don’t think there is any snow leopard in lego world yet. Only normal leopard one. And wolves, moose, lynx, black bear, falcon and a few more in the North American boreal forest as well! -

Wait a minute, I thought we have Ocean Exploration came out in 2020, not 2019. I only know it was Space subtheme in 2019. And we got Diving Yacht in 2019, I think? Just pointing out. :) -

Hmm… you make a good point about 4 years for subthemes. I haven’t thought of that. Well, i guess Arctic may be potential for 2022 then. And in reality, volcano is usually habitant-less for animals, I think Volcano subtheme was less popular due a lack of animal molds. But I really like these vehicle from that subtheme, in my opinion. Somehow I missed Jungle subtheme but I am so glad Wildife Rescue arrived here. Agreed - animifigures are the key features for sure. -

Ah, we never had Desert subtheme then? I know we did have Jungle, Volcano, Arctic, Mining, Space, Ocean. And now we have Wildlife Rescue and Stuntz. -
Ooo, Aunt Marge minfig would be very neat!

Exactly, so no Arctic/Antarctic Exploration subtheme for 2022 then. At least, school bus is still part of public transit service! :) I can’t wait to see some prelim pics of hospital this fall or early winter. Hey, did we have Desert subtheme before? Just wondering. -

Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I was talking about no “hint” for Arice / Antarctic subtheme. However, I gotta say, I agree with you on what you said about farming subtheme/sets and beach sets. However, we have no idea what kind of rescue helicopter would look like yet so we will hold it off for discussion later. 100% agreed. I would be surprised to see a sea lion / seal mold. :) Yeah i could see easily that Coast Guard subtheme would make a return for 2022. Sorry for confusion - I was talking about a lack of hints for Arctic / Antarctic subtheme. -

Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I am just curious - why would you expect to see Arctic / Antarctica Exploration wave? Did we get Arctic subtheme in 2018, which it was not too long ago. Plus, there is no “hint” this year. For example last year, we got Safari Off-Raider (with lion Ness) and this year we are getting Wildlife Rescue subtheme. Last year, we got Stunt Team and this year, we are getting Stuntz subtheme. Additionally, there is a “parallel” pattern between Friends and City. For example, in 2019, Friends used to have its own ocean subtheme and last year, City is having Ocean Exploration. In 2020, Freinds has a jungle rescue subtheme and this year we are getting Wildlife Rescue subtheme. This year, Freinds has its own Hospital, School, and Park. We will get City’s Hospital, School and Lifeguard Beach Post/Park. I only see Freinds’ forest subtheme this year so I dunno about City’s forest subtheme next year? Who knows. -
OH! That bricky brick! Duh me…
