Ohh, I didn’t realize Butcher’s Shop was your suggestion! You make a good pinlart about setting up a Christmas meal, such as turkey or pork pieces in Butcher’s Shop (sorry vegans!). I just imagine - a butcher greeting customers with a blood on his apron…. No thanks! Instead of it, a butcher with Santa’s hat greeting customers! :) BoHmm… Well, I am not sure if 2 - 3 reminders would be reprinted for this stable idea. And yes Wildlife Rescue does have some new animals - lion (with mane), lion cub, elephant calf, full-grown elephant, and monkey. You are right - none of these sets don’t have multiple large animals. BUT elephants did show up in two sets while maned lions and their cubs (both of them are ecolored) show up in two sets.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I agree. -
I agree with you on Butcher. I feel that it could lose a touch of Christmas spirit and it would be weird to see it in Winter Village. Oh Reindeer Stable sounds really neat! Since we do have a reindeer from Elf’s Clubhouse, I think a stable could come with 2 or 3 reindeers if the designers have some “leftover budget” for them. Of course, a stable could include a few elf minfigures (with new female elf hat+hair mold).

Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
Lion King replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hmm…I do not think there is any forest/bamboo festival during Chinese New Year but I could imagine that - a trail snakes through bamboos with stone lanterns, probably. Pandas could be included in that bamboo scenery. Or…pandas sneak into restaurants and eat noodles? -

I saw that school bus picture. Something was fishy about it. I mean it was pretty odd to see a pic of whole bus. Thanks @Poodabricks! -

Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
Lion King replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I like your ideas, folks! For me, I would love to see one set that include a new animal mold…. Panda! However, I don’t know how can it fit into Chinese New Year theme tho. -
Not to mention - if I remember correctly, there is a new Marvel set with Bro/Fat Thor. There is a ton of beers in it! And I think it has barrel too? So I think Winter Village Travern/inn would be very neat. But I will not hold my breath for it.

Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion

I gotta say, I agree with you. I didn’t understand why they have to relate 2022 threads for City & Speed Champions right away. It was pretty confusing. -
That’s quite true. And there was also animal cruelty in circus in these past days. BUT I still think circus train may be more colorful (just like Madsagcar 3 moie) or the circus train was seen once in Indiana Jones movie. Yeah, I agree with you on a cancel culture. Welcome to the 21st century I guess!

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I just bought Tractor and Road Plate sets, along with Adidas Original Superstar and Winnie the Pooh in order to get Sailboat Adventure (GWP)! Talking about shopper’s impulse…. Anyways, I am pretty ecited about Tractor (despite that it has a plain white rabbit but I’m ok with it!) and Road Plate (I’m just curious how useful it can be). -
Honestly, I hope we will see some official reveal soon. Because I think I start to lose my sanity and my curiosity just starts to get intense.

Brick-built Animals VS Molded Animals
Lion King replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Agreed. Also, elephant’s body side looks a bit odd and flat - I think legs may give some not-so-flat volume. But I’m ok with it anyways. Oh yes! I wish we should know why they originally planned to include orca and bison/buffalo in these sets in the past then suddenly they dropped for no reasons (other than budget). One day… we will see them for real, hopefully. -
Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
Lion King replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, actually, when it comes to zodiac, it’s not exactly a chicken… it’s a rooster. Although, I doubt they would re-mold chicken mask as a rooster one. Snake costume would be interesting for sure. And ram and monkey masks as well. In my personal opinion, it would be weird to see a rabbit mask with no eyes or nose on it, comparing to other masks (Ox, Rat, and pig we already have from Chinese New Year). If we would get Year of the Rabbit minifigure with no eyes and nose on their mask and put that minifigure next to toher fellows, it may not look right to some Lego fans/collectors. But I am ok with eyeless and noiseless rabbit mask tho. Hmm “ice and snow festival”? Come to think, I think that would be cool to see some festival covered in snow, just like Story of Nian set! yeah, I think 12 Zodiac CMF is a very neat Idea! -

Press Release: 76391 Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collectors
Lion King replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hogwarts Icons Collection or whatever it is… I honestly thought “icons” means a series of famous objects, not just random school supplies (except for Chocolate Frog). However, books stacked up, potion bottles, wand and a few more look look nice together. but seriously, another Hedwig? Eh, what about…well, Herimone’s cat? Or Ron’s rat/owl? Ah well… and I really don’t care about golden minifigures. Sorry but this doesn’t scream “BUY ME” for me. My wallet just sighs out of relief. -
Since we have some existing animal molds, such as lions, elephants, monkeys, bears, and so on. I have some zoo ideas. 1.) Lion Den Exhibit with brick-buildable statue of lion outside enclosure 2.) Penguin Enclosure with brick-buildable “iceberg” on road plate 3.) Gorilla Transportor 4.) Zoo Gift Shop with panda toy 5.) Aviary with different birds and some palm trees 6.) Dolphin/Seal Showtime with some loop and ball and stadium 7.) Elephant/Rhino Exhibit with stable and savannah trees 8.) Panda Den with gentle rolling hill and ball 9.) Petting Zoo (?) 10.) Crocodile Statidum (tribute to Steve Irwin) 11.) Monkey Go Nuts Exhibhition with poop (it’s where monkeys could throw poop at guests…literally) 12.) Giraffe Transporter 13.) Tiger Escape with food court where tiger could eat some burger and scared guests running away from tiger….LOL

I don’t know when is a good timing for predications. But, in my knowledge, I don’t know anything about confirmed rumors. However, I would love to see some Deathly Hallows sets AND Gringotts Bank. With 20th anniveary set, I’m not sure which path that leads us to - return to the 2018-2020 Harry Potter or continue with the anniveary and some Hogwarts Icons Collection stuffs? I dunno…

Brick-built Animals VS Molded Animals
Lion King replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I’m a huge fan of molded animals. I have been collecting molded animals from hermit crab to elephant, to Tyrannosaurus Rex. I mean, today, molded animals are looking more realistic than the animals in the late 90s and early 2000s (before I entered Dark Age in 2005). I was overjoyed when I saw a classic T-rex mold in early 2000s, along with Pteranodon. And when I got Studios sets….it was a completely train wreck when I built Pteranodon out of bricks. As a kid, I remember thinking “That is weird…”. Also, I was happy to see Basilisk and Hungarian Horntail molds from the classic Harry Potter theme in 2002 and 2004 respectively. Today, there are brick-buildable Basilisk and Hungarian Horntail figures and they are just “meh” for me. I understand that there is some tight budget for small and larg I understand there is tight budget for small and large animals, especially for dinosaurs and pterosaurs. The designers usually reuse parts and recolor them for new dinosaurian species instead of making more accurate, molded parts for them. For example, Indromimus Rex’s new arms were introduced last year and later, they are Remus for Grim the Baryonyx (check the Lego we Shop and you will see what I mean). I have been wondering - why designers don’t go with new leg parts with connector pins for elephants, similar to Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, instead of using an one-piece body (combination of body and legs) then? It should allow elephants be possible. But I love adult elephant, it just looks cool to me so I’m ok with it. I heard there away a rumor that there was supposed to be an orca in City’s 2018 Arctic subtheme but we ended up getting woolly mammoth figures. I wonder if we would see orcas one day… Same for buffalo. -
Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
Lion King replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Tiger Costume is one I’m looking forward to see. You make a good point on exiting animal molds. I think one-off CMF would be a great idea. Not to mention, I’m also wondering if there would be a panda mold in Chinese New Year 2022 sets.
