Yes, CI and hearing aid are different things as I mentioned in my previous post… Baically, CI attaches to the piece of metal under skin, jsut above head while hearing aid just hangs over a head and its earmold stuffs inside ear, realistically. However, you are right, it’s little hard to tell difference between those objects in a minifigure form.

As a deaf AFOl wearing CI (cochlear implant), this is exactly waht I am hoping for. It has even since the printed hearing aid was introduced, i had been wondering if. They would do a CI+Hair piece but I almost gave up on it. What a perfect timing. CI is now visible on hairpiece rather than under it. By the way, hearing aid and CI are differnet things. Now i wonder if we woul see….a hairpiece with TWO CIs. Don’t get me wrong….. there are some people in deaf community DO wear two CIs, while others wear one CI. And most of dearies don’t wear CI (don’t ask me that quesito, jsut let them speak for themselves becuase of deaf pride). It would be cool to see a hairpiece with two CIs but it may be unlikely / useless for AFOLs.

Maybe for later wave in 2024?

Not that i know of but since Series 25 and Space Sereis are both non-licensed series in 2024 - I am not sure about three non-licensed series in a row in 2024. I rarely collect minifigures from licensed series, such as DC Comic, Marvel, Harry Potter, Disney, Muppet, and Looney Tunes. I am only intererested in seeing Looney Tunes and Muppet Series 2. Regardless what I just said, I really don’t mind Seires 26!

Last year, when there was 90th annivesary going on, there was CMF Series 23. Most of us mentioend “Basil the Batlord” and I was like “Uhh…who?”. I looked him up and he did look like he was a vampire to me!

Yeah, the large theme rides always show up in Icons subtheme, Fairground, rather than City one. I understand that there is some small set like space ride. I feel theme rides are much advanced and complex sets for kids. Unless kids are willing to do that one, go for it!

I think you could be right. Last time we had Jungle subtheme was in 2018 and it set in Asian jungle since we had tiger there. I actually didn’t pay real close attention to that butterfly but you make a good point. So we shall see about the 2024 summer wave! :)

@BrickJagger, i think you shoul update the name off this thread. Removing “2023/24” and remove “(?)”. And add set number to the name. I mean, we already know this set is real and it will not be released in 2023… so it’s time to update!

That’s true - you are right that space sets are more about mining and others. Still, it’s best to have sets for summer wave, rather than subtheme.

I will like to ask you. See the post i made above: Afghan hundred and red bedding don’t tell me that much. And we know Medevial Town Square is coming with that goat.

I just realized something…. Does this CMF seires tell us something about City’s summer wave? Allow me explain…. in 2020, we had Ocean Exploration that summer. It has new animals molds (anglerfish, manta ray, hammerhead shark (head only)) while we had green sea turtle from Series 20 that year. 4 new molds in subtheme and one from CMF. In 2021, we had Wildlife Rescue that summer. We had new mold, such as monkey, maned lion (noly head), lion cub, elephant and elephant calf.. None from CMF that year. So it’s 5 new molds in subtheme. In 2022, we had Farm. There are lamb, calf, piglet and sheep (only new woolly piece). And we had foal from CMF that year. So it’s 4 new molds in subtheme and 1 in CMF). Now this year, we have Arctic Ocean… we have orca, polar bear cub, seal, seal pup and big turtle. None from CMF this time. So…it’s five in subtheme. Series 25 seems to me it doesn’t tell me something about City’s summer wave? Afghan hound, red herring and goat just don’t tell me something. I mean we know medeival town square set will have goat and we had a Farm subtheme last year.

Animals are generally popular in summer. Subthemes. Mining doesn’t have a lot of animals other than spider, rat, and snake. 2020 - Ocean Exploration - we have anglerfish, hammerhead shark, great white shark, manta ray. We have green sea turtle from CMF that year. 2021 - Wildlife Rescue - w have maned lion, lion cub, monkey, elephant, elephant calf, African eagle (colored), python (recolored). 2022 - Farm - we have cow (recolored, piglet, pig (not new), sheep (not new but with a new woolly piece), lamb. We hav foal from CMF that year. 2023 - Arctic Ocean - we have polar bear cub, seal, seal pup, orca, hammerhead shark (recolored?), big turtle, great white shark (recolored) I feel North Ameircan or Australian subtheme would be perfect for 2024. See the post I made below: I don’t think Volcano and Mining subthemes would be interesting for kids since they are not the friendly habitants for liviing things. So I guess sets would be better rather than entire subthemes. And I thought Stunz subtheme is gone?

I feel like they could release an Adventurers set eventually…i mean we have Dr. Kirby in Natural History Museum and Pippin in Orient Express. And we have Johnny Thunder in Seires 19. What’s going on, Lego?!
