  1. I took your lead and looked at it too. I just can't picture them letting the new SS set get too out of scale with 2021's well-received Hogsmeade sets. Combined with the increased piece count, I think there is a real chance we'll see another small Hogsmeade shop included. (Or that's just wishful thinking, whichever... )
  2. Other than Neville saturation (5 since 2018 reboot, only 2 before) and what compared to their previous iteration is Ginny scarcity (4 now, but 3 prior), I can't believe they'd give us Ginny instead of poor Neville in the PoA Gryffindor Common Room scene. Throw in the cat who callously framed him and Padfoot, and it makes even more sense. On the other hand they've been working hard to include more female minifigs, and we have an age appropriate Neville in the DADA Moment set this year, so... They don't need to be in the same scene, though. Snape could be from one of the other castle rooms included in the set. I think Promobricks is extremely reliable, but they're only as good as the information they have, and I'm not entirely convinced they're sure about the MoM being OotP only or that the set is even limited to a single movie. (Like how 4 Privet Drive included PS's scene of Harry's receipt of his acceptance letters to Hogwarts plus the second year Dobby and Anglia escape scenes, or the Great Hall had Harry and co. as firsties plus Quirrell and yet still included the basilisk (of which we shall speak no more ).) I think the main point was a lot of us expected the sets to focus on PoA and GoF, and Promobricks are emphasising it has gone beyond that, plus the golden statue in the fountain = OotP. That doesn't mean there can't be other scenes playing out there. But if your starting point information isn't sufficient to be sure who that extra character is, then preliminary photos with stand-in figs or low res pix seem likely, as opposed to a marketing description from lego which would have nailed it down.
  3. Lucius and Yaxley have long blond hair, although iirc Yaxley favours a ponytail. Greyback was black haired in the most recent version, so I find that more difficult to confuse on the surface. Thicknesse, as @Accio Lego suggested, or Runcorn fit that bill better, short dark hair.
  4. "Arthur" could be Reg Cattermole and "Ron" could be Percy. It could be conflating descriptions with the results of fuzzy /too small / preliminary pictures. Leaving "Greyback" which might be Mafalda or Mary Cattermole. After last year's Polyjuice Potion Mistake, I'm hopeful we'll see the trio in the Polyjuiced forms from DH1 sooner or later. Edit: actually, "Fenrir" would have to be Runcorn / Harry. And we've already speculated Lucius is Yaxley. "Hermione" would be a Mafalda hybrid... This set would be phenomenal for the minifigs alone. Great minds / Ninjaed. The other snag with the OotP Battle is Arthur doesn't appear in it though. The short hair and dark outfit "Fenrir" could even be Tonks, but I'm hoping for a violet haired version. Maybe it's a preliminary.
  5. Does Filch have more than one outfit? I'm with you on "both", though I'd much rather it were Grimmauld Place. No Hagrid and no Draco mentioned, which is especially strange. They're cranking out the McGonagalls, throttling the Snapes, and no Dracos at all?? Very strange.
  6. Oi! Some Mimis aren't overly picky. Considering the relative lack of GoF sets, what are the chances the $120 set isn't the Durmstrang ship and Second Task? What if the AC allows us to take the MoM from DH to OotP and back again? That would be very cool. Change the fountain statue, add a few extra characters, Tonks, Sirius, Bellatrix...

  8. As typos go (autocorrect definitely hates me), this made me giggle.
  9. Did we ever determine that there was no loophole? It could be one of his very, very (very) many ABS hands...
  10. They've re-released the Clock Tower / Infirmary and Great Hall since the 2018+ versions, so I see no issue with putting out another Buckbeak. I'd give us the Grim in the SS set with Harry, Pettigrew and Scabbers, probably Snape and werewolf Lupin (unless we get those in a "tree-set"), and save Sirius and Buckbeak for the escape scene, Lupin for the classroom & Boggart scene, Ron and Hermione for the Hospital Wing set... It gives us incentive to get the castle sets, too, and there's no way they aren't going to push the castle. Now, now. Until we know what the D2C is, there's still hope... Slim though it might be.
  11. Gabrielle was in the Beauxbatons carriage set, including a sleeping face, so for once I actually want Ron and Hermione. It's a little sad to want those two just for the alt faces, but there we are. I see a remake going much the same way as the original (who wants to pay even more for that scene?), Cho being the noted exception then. Given the push to make the sets more diverse / inclusive, they might just throw her in anyway. Oo! They could make Ron's alt face in the infirmary sleeping and reduce one fig. Have we seen that yet in the YT postings?
  12. https://www.stonewars.de/lego-2022/ they list the stuntz sets as part of the City theme, as "stunt"- if you do a search on the page for them. We've got set numbers, part counts, expected release time, names / broad descriptions, but oddly no pricing yet.
  13. Thalia in DE has a 17% off sale going right now that also applies to reduced price wares. Just picked up three of the 2021 Moment sets for 34% off (19,91 EUR), which was a good discount. The lowest prices here have been very (very) narrow windows of 18 EUR, but generally when a store offers a discount they do it on only one of the sets so you pay more for the rest or fail to meet the free shipping threshold, or they don't offer free shipping to begin with, or they just limit the sale orders, so that was a good overall price. They also would allow the 17% to apply to preorders for the March sets (although there were no further discounts there, but 17% is still 17% ). If you're in DE or a neighbouring country, it might be worth a look. (source: https://www.brickmerge.de/LEGO-Harry Potter)
  14. You're right, that's sadder looking hair. I've genuinely never thought of a hairstyle in those terms before but that piece does a good job of capturing it.
  15. Worse than that, Snape, Ron, Tonks, Pettigrew, and Borgin all have the same hair. Boring is one thing, repetitive is another.
  16. Which one is that? I've been looking through the dimensions sets and haven't found one that seems to fit yet.
  17. See @THELEGOBATMAN, this is how you wager as to what comes next. None of this hand eating stuff. That just raises sticky questions as to the most appropriate condiments.
  18. The one shown in the video is Lockhart, so I'd say they're continuing to use last year's tiles. I think that's nice. It gives people a better chance of getting the complete set without forcing them to resort to Bricklink, and they had this vision of kids trading them during recess that fell a little flat with the pandemic last year. They also make decent portraits scattered through your builds, so I say bring them on. (Wouldn't mind new ones next year, though. Loving this little detail. Agree with @BacktoBricks, however, that I'd have expected two for the size / price point of the set.)
  19. Already midnight in Germany, so I think that ship has sailed. First day without a promobricks post in a long time. ETA: ninjaed.
  20. I get the feeling the Ameet books aren't as regularly available elsewhere (like the States) as they are here, so I'm not sure that's an argument against. Lucius is in one of them and not a DK book, and the figures in those books don't tend to be exclusive (with the present exception of the Cedric minifig, but the parts that make it "not-the-mannequin" are fairly common). Plus I'd still expect him to be part of an Accessory Pack at some point, too.
  21. 16.2.2022, 17.56. So well past, if we're sticklers.
  22. They're actually located in Germany though, near Bonn, so we're on the same clock, so to speak. And for the antipodeans, it's already well into tomorrow, living in the near future as they do...
  23. Ha, you say that, but we're rapidly running out of day / evening here... *aroooo* Three hours and twelve minutes left.
  24. I've been thinking about why I'm not happier with the trunk set, and looking at those faces it finally struck me I like the flesh tones for injecting a bit of reality (as well as diversity) into my builds, but the mittens and facial expressions both detract from that reality. They take me right out of the scene. We had that scene (complete with very excellent pixies) in the CoS set last summer. Thanks for the heads up, @dyl-and. Strange that promobricks hasn't made any posts today. They normally post daily, often with a couple of posts on any given day...
  25. No worries, no one will expect you to do either. (Except maybe @BrickBob Studpants, but he can't help himself. ) It was as legitimate a guess as any other interpretation and had the added bonus of perhaps sounding convincing enough to sway promobricks to do just that in case their original plans were different. #teamfullmoon Tomorrow's the day!
