  1. He never said it was definitely delayed or cancelled either way. In fact, BrickClicker has said very little in this thread, and most of what he’s “said” has been via other people which could easily be misrepresented. I’m also not sure the person you’re replying to meant anything for definite either way when they said “delayed”. Sounds like you’re hearing what you want to hear. BrickClicker’s credibility is intact.
  2. Is it really? These leaks have been quite major. Also, confirmation bias - no one remembers leaks that didn’t happen because they didn’t exist.
  3. People complaining about the cobwebs… surely it’s a double sided face?
  4. The original didn’t have the statue.
  5. I’d much rather them make new stuff than our fourth Great Hall iteration. Then again, I wouldn’t buy it, so it would save me money @Yope a bit, perhaps, yes. Maybe not exploited because they are not forcing us to buy sets! Especially rereleases - if the old version was good enough then, then it’s good enough now. Hence why I’ve bought the new Hungarian Horntail but won’t bother with the new Hogwarts Express. However I do get that that’s frustrating - I bought the Chamber of Secrets despite already having the Great Hall because of the chamber, but if they then come out with a better CoS it will be a bit frustrating. However, I’m getting a bit fatigued with this theme. The sets are getting more expensive and the quality is becoming a bit more hit and miss. For example, the Sirius’ Rescue I’m not sure I’ll buy because tbh it’s not a very interesting set. I sense this year will be the last year I commit to it, because I’m struggling to think of many more scenes that are essential they create! Troll’s bathroom and Chamber of the Winged Keys are the essentials for me.
  6. Well these leaks certainly seem divisive! I am sad to say I’m falling on the side of… meh. I feel like there’s something off with them. Fighter Plane Attack looks decent Tbf. I have little to say bad about it. The Lost Tomb, feels like it’s got more accurate builds, but is so… empty? There’s a lot of empty floor space. I agree with @Retro Brick Reviews that it needs to be smaller to be a bit denser. That would also mean some of the piece count could go towards another wall, or two half walls - it is a TOMB, after all. Temple of Doom, I really don’t know how to feel about the Kali statue! It’s nothing like the movies! However I like the other movie-accurate details. The set also feels more cohesive than the other one, such as the bridge leading to the mine cart. In the original there was the trap door but that didn’t make sense because that’s the pit of lava! Again I agree with @Retro Brick Reviews that cutting the mine carts would’ve made it better. I mean, they’re not even that close together scenes in the movies - there’s the whole rock crusher and freeing the slaves scenes before the mine carts! It limits the number of Temple of Doom sets they can create, and I think two smaller sets would’ve worked better.
  7. Well Indiana Jones is well known for being extremely realistic, after all. What with ghosts melting Nazis, people briefly surviving having their heart ripped out, and a cup that causes you to age rapidly. I don’t doubt that in the 5th film, will get a similar reception.
  8. @Roebuck @BrickBob Studpants I agree for a different reason about Expecto Patronum not being a normal set or a remake - the age range is 14+, which is too high for normal sets but too low for dioramas.
  9. Tbf this theme leaked about 3 years ago so they’d have to reveal it VERY early to beat that!
  10. So you want this for $470? I just came into this forum for the first time in a year... Feels like I've walked back into 2020 Diagon Alley discussions again, debating whether the D2C's microscale and including half of London!
  11. On the UK site they were all Coming Soon but now half have disappeared lol edit: nvm it’s because they’re up for preorder
  12. Ouch at the UK price for Chamber of Secrets... Even bigger ouch at Wizards Chess!!!
  13. Thinking about it, something I wish they’d done Is taken the same modular approach of the Girls Bathroom with the Room of Requirememt last year. So it could have had more of a floor, and then something with a roof from another set to stack on top of it.
  14. Does anyone know how how I can find the preliminary images? I’d quite like to go back and compare. Edit: found a video, no worries
  15. Reading through people’s comments, it seems I’m in the minority for absolutely loving the exterior. To me it’s different enough to be just a completely different section of the castle, especially the tower which doesn’t seem at all alike the Great Hall Tower. And I just think the detailing is fantastic. It seems much more higgledy piggledy than the previous Hogwarts sets which were very neat - and I love that, it’s exactly how I imagine Hogwarts to be.
  16. Wow, I didn’t realise the slide connects to the girls bathroom when they’re joined together. That’s AWESOME (if obvious). I am a huge fan of this new style of modular-ness
  17. Wow, I totally love these! They’re so much better than I expected. Something I really like is that they’re not trying to make the Great Hall and Tower look the same as the 2018 one. They could quite easily be another bit of the castle - they’re a different shape and a different layout. As someone who isn’t bothered about stuff being in it’s “proper” place, this is great as I can just pretend the duelling club is in some other smaller hall. The exterior looks great and nice and busy, with lots of really interesting shapes and designs with the arches. I really love the way they transition from the castle to the rocks underneath. The Chamber of Secrets also looks pretty good - a shame there’s no floor in front of the head of Slytherin so it looks a bit disjointed but I feel this is MOCable. That basilisk is a bit weird though, what’s with the teeth on its sides? Hogsmeade on the other hand is perfect. I love it.
  18. Well I remember us being concerned that Harry Potter was gonna get too huge, with so many expensive sets, but looks like they really are going for variety. Guess we’ll find out if it pays off... I think my wallet may be happy though and it may give me a chance to catch up on Diagon Alley! Now, could this be the UCS Dobby’s Sock we’ve all been waiting for...?
  19. I’m still waiting for that to be available elsewhere or at least discounted lol
  20. Well that was a twist and a half lol
  21. Hello it’s been a while from me! I’ve seen some preliminary images of the anniversary wave Floating about. It looks cool enough. Based on everyone’s reactions here... do I get the idea I should be disappointed about the third wave this year Before I start delving through what’s gone on? should I start buying some other themes as I’m gonna have more money unspent this summer than I expected?
  22. Did anyone else think the Lovegood house was a windmill and it turns out it’s just kinda a funny shaped stony tower? Or just me being a fake fan?
  23. Oh no it’s the otter jokes all over again...
