  1. Hi guys! Here are my custom Aberforth Dumbledore and Gilderoy Lockhart. I want to hear your opinions regarding Aberforth's hair. The Saruman hair and beard combo would be perfect for him but we don't have it in light bluish grey and probably never (or at least in a long time) will. Therefore, I'm debating between the modern Ollivander hair(used in this pic), the old Dumbledore hair, and the new Dumbledore hair. The Ollivander hair is not film-accurate (too short etc.) but fits very well with that beard. It was also used on Godric Gryffindor, who also has longer hair than the piece suggests. The old Dumbledore hair was used in the lego harry potter video game (also on Godric Gryffindor in dark orange) but it looks a bit outdated now. The newer Dumbledore hair would be fine but it doesn't fit properly with the beard because of its width. Tell me your thoughts on the hairpiece and the minifigures in general, cheers!
  2. I agree. The Clocktower is much more prominent in PoA than GoF. Alfonso Cuaron used it centrally in the film because of the significance of time in the story.
  3. Blimey, the builds look stunning! Burrow, AT and Privet Dr. look perfect. I'm not sure about Grawp and I'm a bit disappointed by Molly and Tonks... The RoR is also great.
  4. Kingnono himself posted a month ago his "predictions", in which the 75978 was a Ministry Atrium set.
  5. Surely not because the film itself only dares to hint at it in spite of J.K.'s tweets.
  6. That is certainly a good question :D Seriously though, I don't mind. The best thing about Lego is that you can create your own. I'm also very impatient and don't necessarily plan on spending too much money on Lego.
  7. Oh boy, I'm excited about the GWP Hogsmead and might get it but I really hope the figure isn't Aberforth. I just bricklinked parts from several shops to build the optimal custom Aberforth and don't want to see a better one coming out :D Rosmerta or werewolf Lupin (unlikely though) would be perfect for me.
  8. For a moment I thought there would be a new Sirius, damnit.
  9. I reckon the chances are very slim because the figures are based on CoS in spite of there being small details from other films. I think our best chance to get baby Harry is as an accessory to Lily in a CMF series. I can't really think of a possible set in which he would fit in.
  10. I agree. Personally, I think the HBP film is a rather terrible adaptation; therefore, I don't care much for the outfits to be completely screen accurate as far as they look good and the characters are recognizable. I understand, however, that some of you probably want them to be as screen accurate as possible. Lavender is a trainwreck, though. I really hope that she gets a skirt and a bow...
  11. A truly fascinating twist on the disagreement.
  12. Wait a second, is there a hole in the hairpiece? Maybe there is a bow attachment that has not leaked yet.
  13. She needs her signature bow.
  14. Is Lavender's hairpiece new?
  15. Lavender should have a skirt if I'm correct. Now she only has her purple leggings. :D Ron looks fine but the arms are inaccurate. Disappointing...
  16. It's a question of preference. From Lego's point of view, it's logical to include B&B along with the most significant stores from Diagon Alley. B&B is an important place and is tied to almost every scene in the Diagon Alley. Lego wouldn't release a 400€ set that would have additions later on. No need to argue about preferences.
  17. I forgot that they have those kinds of skirts too :D It would have been appropriate for Luna.
  18. Luna looks great! Imo it's rather irritating that they are so inconsistent regarding using or not using cloth for skirts. I personally probably prefer without cloth.
  19. Umbridge is brilliant! I've been pondering on whether or not to buy the Bricktober pack but now I'm pretty confident I'll pass on that since the most desirable figure for me was Umbridge. I'll bricklink the boggart Snape afterwards so that I don't need to spend 30€ on four minifigures out of which I only want two or three... I'm pretty concerned about Grawp. I can get that it is logical to use the "Giant-Man" style but it'll look very bulky and I'm not sure about the brick-built look on a character with essentially no clothes. I can't see it having a natural look. Anyhow, I hope I'm proven wrong. I'll probably get the set anyway. And if the face isn't printed, my Grawp will look rather funky. I'm otterly terrible at placing stickers... EDIT: For some reason I remembered Grawp having fewer clothes on... Anyhow, I still feel like he wouldn't look natural enough in a brick-built form.
  20. That'd be brilliant. :D We'll surely get Lucius in the CMF or DA, if not both, and he'll have his mask as the second face. It would be great to get also a regular death eater in the DA. Anotter place could be a MoM set if one is coming lol. The CMF would ideal though, because of army building.
  21. That would be intharesting. But I reckon he is either in his quidditch garments or as Crabbe so the chances are rathare slim.
  22. Cheers, it's been a plharesure. Whare would we be without humour though? It really brightens the mood amidst all the splitting of hares.
  23. Dhare I say, whotter time to be alive!
  24. Whotter the chances!? I could win the lottery...
