Hi guys, I'm taking a break with IA for now, as I have decided the next part would be too anticlimactic compared to the cliffhanger of part 5 and the Battle. I'm not sure if I'll make a second season, if I don't, I'll wrap it up in a couple of extra parts with one more creation. First of all, let me say a big thankyou to anyone and everyone who ever commented on my IA project, it means a lot to me. This was definitely my vehicle to becoming a better builder, I look back at part one and think I've come a long way. I feel that post-apoc get a lot of undeserved heat as a theme, as a few mocers (not from EB mind you) tend to just throw bits together and claim it as such. So I really wanted to show myself that the theme (one I love) can have good creations even from an newcomer builder like I was at the time of starting it. What I found was that it really did help me improve, and the comments you posted really made it worthwhile. A member even told me he joined EB because of IA, so that made my day. I'm not pretending to be a great builder, I'm just a good builder who likes to use his imagination, so a massive, massive thankyou to all who followed this and helped me grow as a builder and a member I posted this thread to get feedback for more than just the creations and current story. I really want to know where I should go with this, as it has been a fun experience for me. As IA is decided by the members, I felt I should let you guys have a say. This thread is basically a look back at the entirety of IA. I don't really want any praise, I'm looking more for criticisms and reflection on what was successful and what wasn't, be it the story, characters, creations or ideas. Just to jog your memory here is the main creation from each part: The Base The Base 2.0 The Deadzone: Dragonator's Outpost: Xenu's Sea Fortress: Dragonator's Army: Also, I'm free to answer any question you have regarding IA. Anything, be it the production, idea, vote making or anything else, I'll answer. Basically, whatever you want to say, ask, criticise (constructively of course), summarise and of course state what you put in the poll, please do, I'd love to see what the readers think of certain parts I'm not sure on, and where this should go. I'd also love to hear which parts you think was least successful and most successful so that I may improve and focus. So anything you want to post regarding IA, post it here, I'd love to see where I can improve and where you think this should head. Thanks do much for reading guys, and thanks for all the comments you've made, you make me feel really at home here Batbrick Away!

Something a little different, I want to know what pieces the AFOL community are sick of getting or have way too much of. Those pieces that manage to always find their way into TLC's sets, but never your creations. For me it's those annoying gold(ish) triangular slopes that pop up everywhere in Castle and a few in the Indy sets, I have no use for them yet I have so much. Another is 1x2 bricks of any colour with technic holes in them, I know they are useful but I have more of those than I do regular bricks and it annoys me. What pieces are you getting sick of? (Btw, I don't want to turn this into another negative fest, I just want to see people's opinions on this ) Batbrick Away!

I'm currently making the largest and best creation I've ever done. I'm actually insanely proud of it, it's huge and I've come a long way in detailing. It's part of a WIP display i'm making and this will be the largest part, and its used up all my bley and foliage! I might take a leaf from Sir Nadroj and post a teaser possibly. Also to do is Bat Impulses 3, Bat Mocs'N'Mods 4, another Bat Castle Vig and a couple of castle things. Batbrick Away!

Very nice, I'm looking forward to how this will turn out. Batbrick Away!

You guys obviously haven't seen the movie. Great vig here Majek, I was thinking of my own fridge vig to make before, I like th idea behind this and the skellies are cool, great work! Batbrick Away!

Well, that was embarrassing for me I'll get to it soon then, sorry about that... EDITNESS: Here we go- The Introduction Part 1 - Safe Season Part 1.5 - Strangers Part 2 - Surviving Part 2.5 - The Deadzone Part 3 - Mistakes Part 3.5 - Captured Part 4 - Where Loyalties Lie Part 4.5 - Xenu's Sea Fortress Part 5 - The Battle I'm not sure if some are legal as they are just polls, so feel free to leave those out if you wish. Thanks Batbrick Away!

Have a good one. Birthdays are always special so I hope you've relaxed, enjoyed the great life of a Tasmanian and revelled in a good, AFOL lifestyle! Have a great birthday and try to convince yourself that older = wiser. Batbrick Away!

Ah, it's working now! I'm guessing like most mini-arcs this is the end of this bit for now? I love the "It's a classic!" reference too, very sly. The twins are great, not very original, but you've given them a nice slant, especially with their own self awareness ("Lets not overdo it now"). I look forward to seeing where this goes, I was hoping you'd return to the Captain Dash storyline. My one criticism is that the second twin is a little awkardly positioned in the second last panel, falling over perhaps? Batbrick Away!

Review - Agents 8635 Mobile Command Center
Batbrick replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
MUST. GET. TWO Thanks so much, this review has truly shown this set as a brilliant one. Even those who hate this theme must admit it is greatly designed. I love the way the mini vehicles fit. I love the light brick. I love the truck front. I love the trailer. I love the missions bay. I love holding cell. I love everything! EDIT: And I second dragonator's response when I say thankyou svelte-corps for this grand review, you have convinced me utterly to get this! Batbrick Away! -
Firstly: Fantastic work, thanks a lot for putting this in shadows a lot of hard work and it shows, thanks Second: May my entire Interactive apocalypse series please be included? Batbrick Away!

Review - Agents 8635 Mobile Command Center
Batbrick replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Man, tohse mini vehicles and minifigs are sexy as all heck! I love Dr.Inferno and the female pattern for Agent trace (is it just me or she almost "busting out"? ). I love the Dr. Inferno hair, and the reappearance of Spy-Clops and Gold Tooth is simply gold (yes yes, pun intended!) I have to say this is shaping up to be one of my favourite sets, well, ever! Uh oh, I think it might be doing that thing again, now all I have to go on about what it might contain is the sentence "zombies? brains!" Batbrick Away!

Review - Agents 8635 Mobile Command Center
Batbrick replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yay! I was waiting for this to be reviewed! Can't wait to see how it is, I love the look of this set EDIT: Wow! Fast going on the review there svelte-corps, I love the look of the instructions. Batbrick Away! -
Wow! Great work on the truck there The Penguin, simply magnificent! Very much like Harley Quinn. The interior is wonderful too, I wish I had thought of this! Brilliant work making a bad set a really good one. I love your little Penguin scene too, what a great way to use those bits and pieces from inside the truck. thanks for sharing. Batbrick Away!

Very good, I love the whole scene using the net idea, clever. This is one of my favourite scenes from Temple of Doom, I really want to see it done as a Lego set. One little criticism is its lack of faithfulness: Willie and Short Round should be there. Apart from that, wonderful work on the rocks and scene in general. Batbrick Away!

Johnny was cooler though! Great moc here, I always love these scenes, the clashing of the titans. As for me, Go Johnny! Batbrick Away!

Ant Attack! (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Diorama)
Batbrick replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great job, I love the whole scene. The jeep looks fantastic anf so do the positioning of the ants. Oxley looks great too, and the fight is well staged. Two criticisms though, the hairpiece of Dovchenko, I believe he had much lighter hair. And the other, I believe Spalko was hanging from a vine, could someone confirm this? Brilliant job overall though, glad ot see you are enjoying the ants! Batbrick Away! -
Review: 7886 Batman - The Batcycle: Harley Quinn's Hammer Truck
Batbrick replied to Deinonychus's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the review, great set, definitely the first of the Batman sets I'll be getting. I love the truck and the Batbike isn't as bad as I thought it was, a win for me. Batbrick Away! -
PSP News Presents: Flatfoot Thompsen Part 2
Batbrick replied to Flatfoot Thompsen's topic in Community
I'll second this, it was strange the first time but a very shameless and rude ripoff, and now it has really gone too far in my opinion. EB News adds to the community, this just annoying and the fact that you say that this is the aim only increases the pointlessness. Why don't you try to do something new? that could be interesting. Batbrick Away! -
Great comic, I love that you used a little head icon to show who was speaking, good idea, kind of like having different coloured bubbles but different. The last panel is great too, the comic effect was definitely achieved by having a large panel. I got that Earth wasn't being invaded (or wherever it was) too. I'm interested in seeing where the twins go with this. Batbrick Away!

Great figs and little display there TheBrickster. While i think they should have a more chinese looking torso they still seem very spooky, I also love the the wagon and extras you've included. I really think the troll heads should make it into one of your mocs though, not this one however, as I love the "wear their fingers to the bone" part. Batbrick Away!

Review: 7886 Batman - The Batcycle: Harley Quinn's Hammer Truck
Batbrick replied to Deinonychus's topic in LEGO Licensed
The batbike may look blocky, but the Hammer Truck is by no means thrown together. Read the instructions, it actually has a great assembly. Add into the fact it has Harley, great wheels, a modable Batbike, awesome stickers and awesome pieces and I'd say this was a win. The Penguin is a bit of a repeat and the Tumbler is too big for me. Either way, it's a great set, Batman 08 wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, which is great. Batbrick Away! -
Thanks for the review! I love this set, i didn't think it was much at first either, but i really love it. Another cheaper Robin and Penguin is great, and those nifty mini penguins are awesome. The spare pieces are even nice! I love Robin's little scuba jet, those green engines are very nice and I love it compactness. Penguin's sub is even better, at first I was annoyed at getting two subs but now I realise it means I can have a fleet of them I'll be sure to mod over those cannons though, but the details are very slick. Thanks again. Batbrick Away!

Ah, I was wondering about that, looking forward to it. Batbrick Away!

Looking forward to the review, this looks to be the best of the new Batsets. Funnily enough, it took me a while to realise Ms Quinn whacking Deino was not on the boxart Batbrick Away!
