  1. Not to offend but did you think of any western shows that could be licensed Klaus-Dieter? After all, it pretty much HAS to be non-licensed if there is nothing to license. Still, I would've chose non-licensed anyway. Batbrick Away!
  2. Great idea for a thread TheBrickster (though maybe this would be better suited in Lego discussion?). I myself am constantly adding to my Batman world, almost to the point of murderous insanity: Dreadfully sorry about the giant pic, it is a bit opld as much has been added. I now am also making an Indy based diorama that doesn't involve scenes from the movies but instead my own creations from "in-between" adventures. Here is a pic of pieces I plan to integrate: Hope you like it, as it is quite into it now. Oh, and TB, I think a Dark City would be great, so long as you made it a different style from Gravestone. I reckon a German Expressionist or 40's noir style would be fantastic Batbrick Away!
  3. Ah, it's sad to see it go, but it has been a great time. thanks a lot TheBrickster for sharing it with us, I really enjoyed following this and you have definitely inspired me to make my own Indy diorama. Hope I helped a little and good luck with future projects! Batbrick Away!
  4. I don't get some people! When proto pics were first released everyone couldn't shutup about how violent all these guns were, so when TLC comes up with the nifty solution of having firehose ends, we complain we aren't getting the guns Batbrick Away!
  5. Perhaps you could elaborate. What is your budget? Afterall, I could just say an impulse set over a cargo plane Batbrick Away!
  6. Well, I'm done with Connery films for now, having watched Diamonds are Forever. There can be no doubt he was the best 007, now to Roger Moore *sigh* Going back to Bond ( ), the base is so much like Blofeld's volcano base, I really want the line to continue so we can get a mountain top building with evil laboratory ala OHMSS. Naturally, preferably sooner than later, you really are missing out. The first part is my favourite, though the unique showdown with Azbats at the end of part 3 is a highlight. It is a very nice book. All are good stories, and though not all are the best, they really cover almost all aspects of his character and Batman's obsession with bringing him down. I believe it does, and is drawn in a partial manga/anime style I believe (I confess to not knowing the difference between the two ). Sounds very interesting, especially the art, can you give me a brief spoiler absent summary and place in continuity please? Also, have you read Strange Apparitions? It really is a story I long to read, the Neal Adams and Steve Englehart era was fantastic, a lot of my favourite art was during that time, and the stories were dark, yet didn't find the need to be overly violent and gory like the modern ones do I don't know about you but I dislike how overly dark Batman has become, what do you think? Batbrick Away!
  7. Hello BigT, I found it in Target in town, nothing in K-mart as yet. Goodluck finding it, I went to Target again today and they are still well stacked with it! The other sets should arrive soon I reckon. Batbrick Away!
  8. Yes, I also agree, the good king has been poisoned! Who could commit such a retched sin? I believe that the maid or whoever was to give him his tea in bed was not responsible, this is too obvious I think. Instead, it is my suspicion that the culprit might be a cook, or someone who could get his hands on the cup before it was to be sent to his majesty.
  9. *cues the X-Files theme* Don't worry lads, the truth is out there.... Batbrick Away!
  10. Wow! You New Zealanders are getting everything! I really hope the Harley Truck comes out this week. Are you going to pick up the Mr.Freeze or Penguin set? They are cheaper afterall Yeah, I really need to do that, order more dark bley slopes. Anyway, my sister returned from the Gold Coast at Queensland yesterday and gave me a present: the 2007 Container Stacker! I wanted this set last year but couldn't get it, and though I'm not huge on city anymore, this has some great pieces in green, and some nice wheels. Batbrick Away!
  11. Lets hope not, I'm hoping he is still playable though, maybe in a Wayne Manor based level or something? After seeing Grant Morrisons recent debacle with him............No Batbrick Away!
  12. I fully agree, I reckon the inside of the base will be greatly detailed and feature some awesome evil things! :skull: I also hope this line will continue, such a cool and campy spy theme with great set, great part and great new figs and molds is VERY welcome in my books. Batbrick Away!
  13. I like it..... If it is a molding error that is pretty cool though! Batbrick Away!
  14. That's a really cool entry Skinny Boy! Could you post an overall pic in the discussion thread here? I love all the closeup pics, this is in the lead for me so far! Batbrick Away!
  15. I'm more interested in a Two-Face keychain right now, favourite villain after all, but I might plump for a Harley one as well. I bought the Robin Scuba Jet on Friday, it was the first new Batset to reach Tas! It really is great, and easy to mod, and trust me when I say the Scuba Jet needs practically no modding at all, Robin can even sit up okay. I actually modded the Penguin sub on that night, it was really fun, and now he has loads of room to move around in. It definitely is better than the previous sub, and they look great as a sort of "fleet". Now I'm going to town as many times as possible this week to see if the others are out. Batbrick Away!
  16. A great little creation here Matn, I love the agile look of it! Batbrick Away!
  17. My final entry: "Despite highly negative reviews and an angry mob of rabid fanboys, the Star Wars Holiday Special Part 2* was considered a success." This is a reference to the unforgivably horrible Star Wars holiday special from years back Batbrick Away!
  18. Wow! Great stuff The Penguin, I especially love your Orc King and rather Adventurous ( ) Evil Queen! I like your simple story too, it really spices up the whole thing. The Dwarf King is a good idea too as we already get two gold crowns for them (another in the advent calender) thus making the gold winged helmet void as a king, so this is a neat solution! I love the King's daughter too, which torso and leg piece are those from if I may ask? And lastly, I really like the warrior princess too! Batbrick Away!
  19. I did this, and then I go through each individual part and locate a container for it to go in Perhaps if you posted some pics we could help? Batbrick Away!
  20. I'm guessing the batman sets are coming real soon to Tas now as I got the only one out so far today: Robin's Scuba Jet! It's a great set, the Robin sub is perfect and in my opinion needs no modding, and the large penguin sub makes for a great Penguin sub fleet. I modded it shortly after finishing it, and while just a few simple things, it makes it brilliant! Batbrick Away!
  21. I submit to the rampaging somethings of the something something system! Batbrick Away!
  22. 2nd submision: "Indy and StarWars fans alike could agree on something: They had a bad feeling about this!" (For those not versed in these series, this line is spoken in both sagas by harrison ford) Batbrick Away!
  23. I love you! For showing me such an effective use which can be expanded on! Batbrick Away!
  24. Yes, I remembr that, I too assumed it meant Nightwing. Yes, I thought I read an article stating that Alfred would pour a hot cup of tea on his enemies or something, it sounded very funny and much like the games have been done. Hopefully Batgirl pops up too, you just want Oracle though! What did R2 and CPO do in Lego StarWars? Me too, I imagine it will be that way too. I think the thugs might be playable though, but I reckon these 1 playable villains are, well, villains! Plus, we NEED Bane and Ra's (the mentioned mystery villain perhaps?) I'd love to see the plot involve a twist with a villain orchestrating the plot! Batbrick Away!
  25. I'll have to concur here, I just plain did not see that coming! It was so absurd I couldn't stop grinning, when the stalker said "Meow" I kept imagining this really robotic voice like "Mee--Ow!" I noticed the reflection too, but I must say it isn't as bad as your strip comments say it is. oh, and the computer background looked great on this one. Though, I am still a naysayer of nuking the fridge, I love that the two of them are sitting in the crater holes. Batbrick Away!
