Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion
Batbrick replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, orry mate but I had to be an big behind and steal that victory from you, I just couldn't swallow that Austin the Texan couldn't pull open that bear trap but dorky weak Herman could oh, and it was fun retconning! That said, just like Hinckley, if this is not meant to be, I'm fine with wiping the slate clean. But no way am I going to not be the hero this time! Batbrick Away! -
*Austin sees that Herman is obviously hallucinating, believing himself to be free from the bear trap* Oh crud, he's gone inta shock! Last try! *Austin heroically manages to free poor Herman from the trap as the dog arrives* Thanks Scruffy for the bandages, this will stop the bleeding, though he's lost a lot of blood. Get Bulldog quick but make sure Jeb doesn't intrude, we don't know his stakes in this game of Texas Hold 'Em yet! C'mon Herman, pull yourself together!
-
Oh crud....*continues to work at bear trap* Someone get a rag or somethin' to stop the bleeding atleast!
-
Herman!? Are you okay partner? Are you okay? Just hang on a tick, we'll have this off in no time. Just calm down, calm down! Holy heck, he's passed out! Let's get this thing off him quick, he's bleeding faster than my chips at Vegas!
-
Haha! Love the last panel there, once again I have to say I really love the inclusion of different themes in this comic, it's so ingenious. Is this storyline part of the overreaching one? Or is that a mystery? Great photography too, you had a moment of odd pictures a while ago but you've come back with full force. Batbrick Away!

Nice photo, somewhat eerie. Yeah I was going to use that Dollar Bill hair for Joker as well when it comes out here, so I'll most likely buy two of the set so I can keep one Dollar Bill intact. Batbrick Away!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion

Gotta say TheBrickster, I admire the effort put into the separate stories, I'm really loving the farm visit with spooky stables. Batbrick Away! -
And less scary too partner. Sure I'll come, but first let's quickly sweep a bit of hay off ta the side and see if there's a trap door hidin'. Inconspicuously of course!
-
Okay, keep looking at the floor then, could be some trap door like you said. Might be one under the hay. To Jethro: When was this place built Jethro?
-
To Herman and Bulldog: Anyone see anything yet? Just looks like another stable to me, and how would a chainsaw be a clue anyway? We need ta find out the why's, not the how's, though I understand any clue is good given how little we know now..
-
Of course the Texan is ignored! I'm very sorry about my friend here Jethro, he's quite unusual. Mighty thanks again Jethro.
-
We should have tea first Herman, it would be rude to turn down. To Jethro - I would love some dinner partner, but don't go out of your way for us, we're just grateful to be here *nudges Herman* Aren't we Herman?

Darn! Another false lead! I think we should have dinner then, since we actually haven't answered Jethro for like five posts Also, I keep forgetting to tell you, but I love your new Ghostbusting icon! (new is relative of course) -
I doubt that, I read somewhere that ya can't get drunk when yer dead. Ya also can't move. Incidentally, that reminds me of one of my genius get-rich-quick schemes, I'll tell ya one day when we aren't so darn cautious. So nothing with that kettle then? *out of game* Oh, and let's just say I told you the story, since the only thing my character has on him the entire story was a beer bottle, but that's finished now.

I had a moment of time when I couldn't post as much because I was busy studying, so I must have missed the train bit, thanks for that, but honestly that remark a second ago was a bit of moment induced stupidity. Am I allowed to inquire about the kettle though? Or perhaps I should wait until you have information. -
The plot thickens....nah! A Texan can't pull that line off. But seriuosly, Jeb, Jethro...Ruffy, I must repeat Herman's question, do you recognise any of the train's passengers or crew? *To Herman* I'm beginning to not suspect you anymore, sorry about the paranoia before, but it seems we've walked into some sort of conspiracy!

Not a joke, but don't worry, I just embarrassingly realised what it was, farm guys have had it all along but i thought you were referring to it in the house. Sorry about that! Batbrick Sucks -

I hope it's okay if I posted that link in in Thread C? If not, sorry about that, I'll take it out. Anyway, the farm story is running smoothly so far, just arrived at the freaky house. I'm a little scared to find out beyond this point Batbrick Away! -
Sorry for the late reply! Thanks Lego12, much appreciated. Thanks h.k., organic creations are ridiculously hard and I still haven't come up with one I'm entirely satisfied with, so thanks Much appreciated Tim Bit, don't worry, I'll make an epilogue. I love the Death Roller, but I don't think these pictures do the Apocalypse justice, it's so much bigger and more devastating. Thanks Mr.Mandalorian, I was aiming for a rather Mad Max-ish theme for the good guy vehicles. Supreme Commander Grevious is pretty odd I'll admit, it's because member of the same name won my competition for a cameo after naming all the creatures in a pic. It;s okay Draggy, you might still get them! Thanks Skinny Boy (that will never sound like a normal thing to say) glad you enjoyed it. Thanks mate, but oyu just used words Your words hurt me... Anyway people, the vote currently stands in sabotaging the missile by a five point lead over destroying it! I'll leave the poll a little longer before deciding just in case. so if anyone, anyone wants to vote, go now!
-
I have no idea about anything you just said about yerself Herman, but I'll go ahead and say thanks anyway. I like your style of thinking Herman, I'm also thinking a portion, if not all of the crew could be in on it too. Someone had to sabotage the train for it ta conveniently stop here, and it seems forces wanted to break us up inta groups. There's a deal of mystery here, and I don't like it. Hey, I just thought of something, remember that old Twilight Zone tv show? That had an eerie town in it called Willoghby too! And in that same episode the characters were aborad a train that stopped there! Maybe I'm just a bit drunk, but it is an eerie connection! (I'm not kidding, I just remembered this episode and thought it was odd: Link

[Review] 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
Batbrick replied to Navy Trooper Fenson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice review, I really like the new jetpacks and the printed dishes are neat. I'm sorry to say though, but your scoring points are truly bizarre. You say the playability is "fair" but better with other sets, and so give it a ten out of ten? And say that the minifigures outside the jetpacks are nothing special and give them a nine out of ten? Sorry, but I don't really see how that works. That said, again, awesome review, I really want that jetpack piece, but in another colour. Batbrick Away! -
Well you are a might bit creepy, and seem ta be disturbing quite a few passengers with ya antics. My apologies if they are just harmless gestures, but for all we know on this train in such a serious situation, you could be up ta something. Me? I'm the son of a rich Texan oil tycoon, so I didn't take this trip for the money, but for a bit of a thrill. I'm no daredevil myself, but growin' up rich ya tend ta want ta get out and do something that money can't buy. So here I am, enjoying myself. I tend to think I'm rather friendly, though that may be because I simply can't stop drinkin. I remember once I was so drunk I practically run over some fella, so I cut back then you understand haha! I'm guessing Ms Elizabeth invited me because she wanted someone not strung too tight, though sad to say I think you have everyone that way. No but seriously Herman, maybe I just need to get used to ya, you're as un-Texan as Scooby Doo here! Nice to hear about ya Bulldog, thanks for sharing, I like you already! We should have an ole fashioned Texan showdown one day you and me, but I'll have to be sober! Get it? Because I'm never sober and....yeah I know, not my greatest line ever...
-
It might have something to do with the fact that no one trusts you pardner. Heck, I'm not sure I can trust you, and back in Texas I'm known as the friendliest cowboy there is. Maybe if you would tell us a bit about yerself I could relax a bit around ya.
