But thats fine with me, open sets I find are more exciting. But please refrain from saying "The Batman" near me, It make vomit, a lot! :-X A far better show is Batman:The Animated Series (see pic above) that is IMO the best interpretation of Batman outside the comics. _________ __________ Yes but the magnet sets don't come with any cool accessories or weapons, e.g. Penguin's Umbrella. They are still good though, but I'll just get the sets, they are all so fantastic! *wub* And yes, a blacksuited Batman or Armoured Batsuit Batman would be a great addition! Almost finished my house contest entry. Also now I am to make a mech in the mecha contest! >:-) iamded will be in it (he pays me!) as my ally, and my robot blueprints (AKA-padpaper scribbles! :-D ) are looking pretty good. Batbrick Away! >:-)

You have created an awesome world there iamded, I am loving that Necrobot Lord and ecrobot faction in general! :'-) Putting the general Grevious head on a skellie body is really effective too, and the arms are made well. The mutants are good, but I dislike the inclusion of a tusken raider, I reckon something else could suffice. Overall I must say that the scope and level you have put into this is admiring to say the least, I look very much forward to more creations of this world! *y* Batbrick Away! >:-)

Well, I'm about 90% complete now, I just have to iron out some details. i'd probably say its my best creation so far (not saying much, since I'm a poor MOCer :-$ ) and can't wait to hear some feedback. One thing I don't know about is if we are allowed to have another sigfig in it. I want to include my good chum iamded, hope thats alright, I didn't see anything about it in the rules. Looking forward to the other entries, I must say Hinckley, this is the funnest competition yet, could we have some more of these sor of competitions in the future, unrestricted by vig space and filled with creativity? I will scavenge peices from anyone, wether it be bricks some guy was throwing on the ground at my school (the fool! :-| ), or my auntie's big box of lego she never uses but never gives too me! |-/ Borrowing my friends lego and then "forgetting" to return it for a while also was a habit not long ago :-$ Batbrick Away! >:-)

__________ Very good points there Vader, I had forgotten about that marketing strategy. If they do return though, I have great doubt that they will have "their own" sets, since they have been used already. More like a couple of skellies on horses attacking a goodguy tower or something. I believe this because kiddies might not buy more skellie sets if they have been done already, and the same sort of thing has happened to crownies this year too (on a slightly less scale, because they are still the knights after all) __________ __________ Your dream might come true Lord Of Pies, but it might not belong to the skellies, probably a huge orc and troll fort! *wub* Batbrick-needs-more-skellies Away! >:-)

____________ Yeah i would agree, though I reckon TLC could manage a very (emphasis on very) toned down version with flipfaces- like with Zam Wesell in the Coruscant Chase set. ____________ I don't really consider that a silly decision, I thought EccoHawk's was the best too, but judging from a timescale, LuxorV's entry, coupled with the fact that he included a great iconic scene, was the choice for me. What I consider silly is voting for someone's entry just because of a tagline that entry has. And yes, I already knew you were one :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)

_______ Ah thanks Yoda, I've been wondering about that for a while! :-) _______ _______ Nice to know someone who agrees with me, and also enters for fun, not attention and ego boosting (I'm looking at you Hinckley! :-P ) Your last line about human nature rings very true (more wise words from *yoda* he he) and the sad thing is that it often applies to more than just lego. I forgot also to mention another reason to post MOCs: To have a chat to you guys! :-) I love hearing feedback, and giving feedback, and find that since my family doesn't know their greys from bleys that I should share it to the community. That way I have fun, give people ideas, give people techniques, grow as a builder myself, and learn new techniques myself. Its a wonderful circle that benefits everyone I find, and its never boring. I tried looking it up in the EB Glossary but couldn't find it :-$ ________ ________ I understand these comments very much so, I made a short rant about this over at the Halloween Car Contest Revision thread (though the member did deserve to win, some people were voting for silly reasons as opposed to his great MOC ;-)) I am getting this a bit from the Skellie comp aswell, many of the truly inspired and utterly creative ones are being pushed aside in favour of a popularity contest (I do not consider mine to be any of the above- it actually looks a bit ugly :-$ ) I won't mention names of course, but i do sense a bit of "sucking up" and "megablocks kissing". Which is kinda why I enter competitions for fun as opposed to trying to win. I apoligise if my remarks were a bit controversial, or have offended some people. Batbrick Away! >:-)
