_________ Which reminds me, when is the unveiling of that comic happening? I better get a good part |-/ What makes it really worse Piranha, you are starting to sway my opinion towards the Troll Warrior option! X-O Batbrick Away! >:-)

_______ Australian and British term, he'll explain it though, I don't want to :-$ As for me, I hope to pick up another Crossbow Attack soon, due to a relation of mine digging themself into a hole by promising to buy me it without knowing what it was! :-D Batbrick Away! >:-)

A brilliant review Piranha! *sweet* *y* It is a great set, a lot for your money, we need more sets like this instead of policestations! :'-) Excellent story too, I'm glad I got to try out my flamethrower! >:-) Thanks for including me, and sorry I didn't reply to this earlier! :-$ ___________ I see you invited Batbrick... no invite for me... :'-( :-P ~Peace ___________ Awwwwwwwww........... :-P Sorry iamded, my new best friend is Piranha! You might get invited next time! But don't worry, you still hold the position of "archenemy"! Excellent review Piranha! *y* Batbrick Away! >:-)

_______ Agreed, half of 'em wear mens style clothes! *wacko* I went with Beach Babe. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Okay, so it aint as bad a I exaggerated, you make a point, it isn't Jack Stone! :-X I still don't like the use of way large peices though, but I see your point, they are good for young builders. Batbrick Away! >:-)

_____________ A toilet on the moon, eh? I have an idea! And thanks for clarifying that! *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-)

I can definitely see this do a Viking (that should be the new term! *y* ) and disappear. Unlike with the vikings however I will be happy. The coolest thing in the theme were the astronauts, and I can pick those up in those impulse sets! ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)

Now I don't want to pry, but I think you all have some valid points. The rules are a little vague IMO but I think you still HAVE to have an 8x8 plate under there. Perhaps since this is such a popular contest, and the rules were a little vague in places, we should let Phred just slip a 8x8 base under there, no other modifications allowed, then maybe next contest the rules will be much more obvious and we can not have this type of argument. This contest is a fun, inventive one, so maybe give Phred a second chance to participate. In the future I would like to have a "no overlap" contest, but right now this a great way to see everyone's sense of humour and inventiveness, and I would like to see as many participate in that as possible. I apoligise if it seems I have been rude or disrepectful, or if it was not my place to say this :-$ Batbrick Away! >:-)

Yeah, I really want a Sallah minifig too. and Marcus of course. I wonder what kind of figs or characters we will get with the Indy 4 sets though? I can't wait to see "old indy"! :'-) And that Jungle Cutter, I can't wait to see it in lego form, it looks so Badass! >:-) No offense either guys, but I hope that these eight sets are it for 08, because anymore and I won't be able to get all the sets I want! :'-( Batbrick Away! >:-)

_______ OUCH! Talk about harsh there Hinckley! :-P Mine will sorta be a house if that is acceptible, my sigfig does all the housey (housey? *wacko* ) stuff in it, but doesn't live there 24/7. Hope thats okay. Good to see people getting into this, and remember, it isn't about winning, its about comparing your entry to mine and feeling a whole lot better! X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)

COMPETITION! Design and build a household item from LEGO!
Batbrick replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
________ Yes :'-( Mine is pretty horible and pathetically simple. It is also REALLY pointless! Making people feel better about themselves ON! :-$ _________ __________ Just for the coin bank you say, eh? I guess thats a good excuse, but still, KK? :-X :-P X-D Batbrick Away! >:-) -
:-X That sums it up for me, I don'tcare if they are for starters, they are :-X *n* Batbrick Away! >:-)

COMPETITION! Design and build a household item from LEGO!
Batbrick replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
________________ Fear not *yoda* , for my entry will make yours seem bright and intelligent, for mine is pathetically contrived and poorly built! *y* And a great entry Sinner, but also bad tht you bought KK figures :-P Batbrick Away! >:-) -
I for one am not happy, MM I find to be a repeated line with poor contruction. The fact that the jellies have returned don't make this better, but I guess this means atleast I have a couple of sets I don't have to buy! :-) Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks for the news as always Sam89! *sweet* That Harbour set sounds cool, but I might pass on the Construction set, unless it is really good. Do we actually know if this is System scale though? For all we knowit could be Duplo....... 8-| EDIT: I read the description more carefully, and realise it is minifig scale :-$ I probably won't get these as it sounds too much for starters, and my money is going towards other things! >:-) Batbrick Away! >:-)

Finally gt the Viking Ship, an Viking Double Catapult off ShopatHome *sweet* Also ordered the Viking Fortress not long ago, now I'm broke! Batbrick Away! >:-)

_______ I HATE YOU! >:-( :-P Just Kidding, I had great fun with this contest, and though we only got 3 entries I think they are all great, and all participants deserve money, lots of it. I voted mine, sorry guys, I had the least votes and wanted to even it a bit X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)

Official Speed Racer Licensed Product in 2008
Batbrick replied to ColdBricks's topic in LEGO Licensed
DAMN YOU LEGO! >:-( Why do they always find new ways to drain people's wallets? :'-( X-D I might get a few of these for the wacky minifigs and awesome cars! Thanks for the info Sam89, 2008 is looking to be the best year in,well, years! Batbrick Away! >:-) -
Wow, thanks for the info, it looks like we'll be getting TWO Hovitoes! :'-) I love jungle sets, can't wait to see the River Chase or Temple of the Crystal Skull! The Indy sets so far have been spectacular so I have to say I can't wait to see these! *wub* Batbrick Away! >:-)

_____ thanks! :'-) I'll put down my thoughts more thoroughly now: You are probably right imperialshadows, TLC will probably never cater to AFOL's, but I do still think that it will give us more treats in the future like CC and Town Plan, though knowing them I think a USC Castle is a long way off |-/ One thing I can only see becoming worse is as you stated the problem of flooding us with sets. I am still trying to finish the Viking theme and about twelve others, and it doesn't look like I will catch up! I predict that more useless licenses will come about, and after Indy and StarWars not many great ones will be left. Still, to be positive, I'd say that TLC has started to realise that good sets = good profits, and reckon we will be treated to some more great lines. Batbrick Away! >:-)

I voted for LuxorV's. The kitchen scene is probably my second favourite scene besides the first appearance of the T-Rex. The raptor looks cool, and the kitchen looks exactly like it does on film. Welldone guys, great entries! *y* Batbrick Away! >:-)

___________ Not really, brick quality was only an example I used, I wanted to see people's opinions on what TLC is heading towards in terms of its themes, marketing and AFOL relations. Once again I apoligise if this has already been done, I just wanted to see people's opinions on what we thought or could expect in the future in those terms :-$ Batbrick Away! >:-)

Mr Spielbrick sees his youth come back to him
Batbrick replied to Mr Spielbrick's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to Eurobricks Mr Speilbrick! *sweet* I am a bit of an animator myself, I hope to see some of your shorts myself! Enjoy your time here and congradulations on getting those dark ages out of the way! Batbrick Away! >:-) -
With us all hyped over next year's sets, I've been wondering, now that we have seen them, where do we think The Lego Company is headed towards with it's themes? Juniorisation? Another Golden Age? License heaven? Great sets with horrible brick quality? What??? I apoligise if a thread like this has been made already, but I searched and couldn't find one, so sorry if one has and please close if necessary :-$ Personally, I think that this recent string of great lines means that TLC is moving back to the better days, with fresh ideas and good designs. I also believe that it is starting to cater more heavily to AFOLs, and we might eventually see a whole line of AFOL requested sets. I fear for the brick quality though, and can see it going downhill.... Thats my thoughts anyway, what are yours? Batbrick Away! >:-)

I think 2001 was the best. I own all the original toa (though I lost Pohatu and Kopaka's masks :'-( ) as well as 3 of the elders, all of the Matoran Mcdonald's releases, and the three smallest Rahi. I also own the six Bohrok. They are excellent builds, and very original too, rather than the crappy "six goodies, six baddies" we get now! |-/ I just rebuilt my Tarakava today in fact, and they have great playability. I understand that some recent years have also been good, but they didn't expand the world that these characters live in as much as just make badguys then goodguys and excetera. This marketing turned me off Bionicle, but I still cherish the original line, as it was fresh and saved me from my dark ages. :'-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
