LEGO Hidden Side 2020
UberCorp replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The grey ghost that was leaked looks like a statue possessed by the gloom. Possible inclusion in the castle or prison sets? -
True. Would be a great way to get the piece made since we never got Captain Cutler in the actual Scooby Doo line, but I doubt in reality we'll actually get something much different from the City theme divers. I can dream though

Realized the JB's Submarine set from the upcoming wave would be the perfect place to reintroduce the diving helmet mold from the CMF line. The piece in spring green with trans-neon green glass would work great for a Captain Cutler inspired ghost minifig. I was thinking along the lines of a diver fig that uses the CMF coloration and would include the spring green helmet + alternate head for the fig’s possessed version.

Agreed. The shark mold is generic enough that it could work for quite a few species with a palette. Too bad only one set has had it in something other than dark grey. Can anyone else tell what color the hammerhead is? I'm thinking sand blue, but that may just be the lighting.

LEGO Monkie Kid 2020
UberCorp replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, that list has killed almost all of my interest in this theme. Even though we knew it would be futuristic from that fig leak, I was still hoping it would have at least a few environment builds and be a bit more grounded in Journey to the West. But, looks like its just another Ninjago-esque theme with mechs and aircrafts. The Sea Base sounds potentially interesting at least -

Agreed. The lack of other photos was making me begin to half expect something or other would be changed before the release, but I guess there's no apparent reason for it. -
I feel like Ninjago is going to stick around until LEGO releases another non-licencesed theme that ends up have the same amount of staying power and then they'll start phasing Ninjago out. While I personally haven't cared for the majority of the "sub themes" they've done and feel it's very repetitive, the core audience does seem to still love it so it's probably still got at least a few more years left in its life.

This year's UCS is being released in May, correct? And if so, it would be safe to assume the announcement will be sometime in the first week of April right? -

I've been waiting on a Petranaki Arena set for years. Plus the Ackley/Reek/Nexu would make it more interesting for younger audiences since it wouldn't be just an architectural set. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
UberCorp replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As much as I'd love for Gravity Falls to be the part of a CMF line, the wording they gave for why they archived it before the review doesn't seem like that's the reason. Considering they mentioned "out of respect for the privacy of the members in question". -

For some reason I was thinking the Separatists were also part of the Siege of Mandalore. Clone Wars spoilers, but: Though isn't there still one more unknown August store exclusive that could be a potential S7 set? One of the lists I saw had 75291 listed -

UberCorp replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Unless Lego has future Clone Wars sets planned outside of this summer wave, I don't think the 187th would make the cut because they've been featured so little. Especially when there's already groups like the 501st, 212th, or 332nd which have more significant showings. Though maybe the AAT will be a Battle for Anaxes set and include one of them. -

I'd rather have 332nd troops than regular 501st troops, so not unfortunate for me. -

If it is the 501st, I could see them being the 332nd Company since the set will be released after Season 7 ends. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
UberCorp replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Some divers do, but not snorkelers. I've never seen anyone wear a wetsuit of any kind when just snorkeling and most divers I've seen don't wear hoods. The S16 spy's hair for a snorkeler would be a great use of the part, though -
