Maybe we should call Mythbusters and tell them about the working 9V lego plane.... You did get the 9V part did ya?

Planning is very important, read books on the subject, make plans of the model you want to build etc. Like Mariann said not every brick is available in all colors. Making an LDD model as test is good, but it will be far too expensive too buy it through Factory. I suggest you use Bricklink or other marketsites to gather the bricks. Don't be hasty about it, take your time to make it as you want. If you need a year to complete it, don't worry about it. Good luck!

Welcome to Eurobricks! If you have any trouble on the boards, please check the tutorial index, link is in my signature. -
Wow excellent cars, the old mustang being my favourite! I do think the new Mustang (yellow) should be a bit lower to make it look more authentic.

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Captain Green Hair replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks guys! Great idea, thanks! No, dark red is definitly affordable. The whaleboat is not really my design, so i scuttled her for parts. -
Wow, very nice and creative use of parts! Your story is made up pretty good as well and i admire your collection of brown legs. I can't really picture this inside a ship though, but let's let imagination have a free run here.

A Gunzburg '09 contest
Captain Green Hair replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
That one, or any other official Lego pullbackmotor. So that one is not a set? Rules updated! -
Ofcourse at our 2009 event in Gunzburg, we will have some contests. The first to be announced is the Pullback motor MOC driven by sigfig car contest, got that? Good! To participate in this one, you will need a pull back motor, like from this set: The rules are simple: 1. Use the pullback motor in a MOC car. 2. Your sigfig must drive the car. 3. You can use any official pullback motor you like. 4. Set cars are not allowed, only MOC's. 5. See 2 and 4. 7. Bring it to the event in Gunzburg. 8. See 1. 9. You may use custom decals to personalize your vehicle. Everything clear? Good! Prizes will not be announced untill there is a winner, but i promise they are good. If any of the Event admins thinks this belongs somewhere else, please move it there. Just final a tip from yours truly: make it a strong MOC. Cu in Gunzburg!

ARTICLE: BrickArms Part 1
Captain Green Hair replied to Dragonator's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Excellent article Dragonator, thanks! I have a Brickarms XX Coronel and some weapons, the quality and appearance is really worth the money. -
I most certainly hope they don't stop it, i simply love it! Could you please watch your tone when expressing your opinion, thanks!

I rated it below average. I do like the minifig and the canopy and canopy extension part it comes with, but the design of the ship is horrendous IMHO. Above average on the review though, thanks for making it!

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Captain Green Hair replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks for the kind words guys, time for another update! This is the 4th and final version of the above waterpart so far, i'm really pleased with it myself. The rear with the hatches closed. With the hatches opened, i have decided to make the rear of the hatches dark red to make it look more interesting. You can also see the start of some decorations on the ''wulf'', the round part above the rudder. It is black for now, but this will be totally different on the final version. More on that later This is the first cannon to be placed where it should be, in the master gunner's room. I haven't finished the deck yet, as i need to make supports for it. You can see the supports for the highest part, they connect the 2 sides as well. The inside wall of the hold is now mostly brown. The black jumpers are supposed to represent iron bolts, but i'm not sure if i'll keep them..?? And last but not least, you can see the positioning of the whaleboat Well that's all folks, hope you like it and C&C is as always welcome! -
Looks very nice, something tellsme you were inspired by POTC... Your images could be a bit sharper though, this could get you more votes as well. Good luck!

Welcome to Eurobricks! I guess you used Phred's bricks, or are you a collector yourself as well?

Nice car, but it looks like it is 8 studs wide, not 12?

Brickshelf up, down..who knows!
Captain Green Hair replied to Vader's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Annoying as it might be, Brickshelf is still a free useable site, so give them some time to repair the problem. I'm sure that if they would quit, a message would tell that on the site. -
Were these real LEGO adverts?
Captain Green Hair replied to Minifig Lecturer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Definitly fake, and propably it makes illegal use of the TLC logo. Man did you see the face on that skinny....i'll pick lego over that anyday! -
