I actually was thinking of trying to part a cheaper Imperial Flagship with white hull, I would need to check what it could look like

I like the coloring, but were there any ship of this period with a white hull? (Except the Armada flagship that Lego gave us)

The Scarecrow from 75685 could be interesting as a shipwrecked soldier

She looks so good My wallet is anxious, but I definitely can't pass on buying it.

She is a beauty! Congrats! Even if I get that it comes from respecting the original color style, I find the black figurehead a bit sad and dark for the merchants. Maybe a yellow color, complemented by yellow on the flexible tubes behind, might be worth trying? I'm not sure that it would be better though.

I don't remember if I voted last year. Like last year tough, I did not have a lot of free time during the contest. I have read the first post about all the categories etc, found it really big/time consuming and after that, I have decided to skip contest-related threads altogether. The more new threads appeared, the less I wanted to open them because it would require to know what happened in between. I really want to thank anybody invested in organising it. I know this kind of stuff are demanding. I agree about having a subforum dedicated to it, but more because there were too many threads to skip when I wanted to look for something else. That might bring less visibility to the contest though.

I've completely missed that contest. I love that the Islanders got some love with Con-Briki, this is a neat MOC
