  1. I do wonder if the Koenigsegg will test the market for the large supercar line. I personally don't see it having the same popularity as it is definitely more of a niche brand compared to the likes of Ferarri, Porsche, Lambo etc. The casual fan/builder can walk past and see one and think "cool a Ferrari, I might get that" compared to maybe "what's that? Koenigsegg! Never heard of it" Just a thought, be interested to see if I'm alone in those thoughts. Me though, I'm looking forward to it
  2. If it comes with batteries you might have to return them to the team :D
  3. You forgot the most obvious reason 3. Rolls Royce and Bentley are not Sports Car/ Super Car manufacturers
  4. Anyone heard anything if there are more Transformers on the way? Brickheadz or otherwise?
  5. Don't get me wrong, the only way I'll ever own one is if I won the lotto. Getting a Lego one in white would be a nice addition to the collection. I was secretly hoping for an Aston Martin in green though
  6. Lotus Emira doesn't really scream Supercar in the same way the previous 1:8 cars do
  7. If that happened I wouldn't be able to hand my money over fast enough :)
  8. Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW, Aprilia, MV Augusta, KTM just off the top of my head all make superbikes WOW, the Porsche was one of the first sets I bought when I started getting back into Lego as an adult. I hadn't thought about it, but where did that time go? :)
  9. Should I ask why we're discussing a City set anyway being in the Technic Discussion
  10. Interesting, now the real car has been updated and the set hasn't I can't unsee it :)
  11. Does anyone know the release date for the AMG GT3?
  12. The only thing I don't like which I only noticed today (and no I can't unsee it). The lower black stripe on the side that goes all the way into the air duct on the real car stops at the door on the model
  13. Don't think we'll get the Halloween livery
  14. Can't believe how quiet it is on the news front regarding the 2026 wave. I feel like we usually have more details and or images by now......Or is it just me?
  15. For us Aussie customers, CaDA's prices are already high from what I've found. I would have liked the Sauber F1 to go with the rest of my collection but I couldn't justify the extra $100 above the Lego equivalent In saying that, I'm very interested in the GT3 merc and may just force myself to get it at some point
  16. I like the fact it's something different in a station wagon (estate depending on where you come from). It looks good and I like the blue, for me the Lotus missed the mark in terms of looks, so that's a positive. I can't help but wonder whatever happened to the GT3 Mercedes that was supposed to be coming soon???
  17. I'm thinking we're going to get the SUV version rather than another open-top version. Same car with a roof, hope I'm wrong though
  18. So that's a "no" on the reasonable price then :)
  19. As much as I like Rexy, it's a fairly iconic car in modern sportscar racing, do we really need another Porsche 911?
  20. When did CADA become the dearer alternative to Lego? I would have liked to add the Kick Sauber to my F1 collection but I can't justify the extra $100 price tag. That's the situation in Australia anyway unless someone can point me in the right direction
  21. I think Lego will have missed an opportunity with Transformers fans when they don't make more cassettes for Soundwave. How good would it be to have Soundwave surrounded by 6 of his cassettes
  22. Looks like they've got the size about right too, not quite as big as Optimus but bigger than Bumblebee
  23. Not really understanding what you're asking here, Rumble would be purple/blue/grey as mentioned and frenzy would be red/black
  24. Any word on the release dates of the AMG and BYD?
