I knew it is tall, but I didn't realise it's taller than Ninjago City. :o -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Salix replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Looks like the City summer sets (the underwater and airport stuff) is being released on 1 June in the Netherlands. :) I haven't seen the buggy or hot rod yet though overhere. I hate it when stuff is region exclusive. :( -
That's likely, because the minifig pack is already in the Dutch S@H where it says it'll be available on 1 June.

Metroliner did indeed have a platform. You've remembered correctly. :) Those busses look very nice! =D I've got all of those. Wish we'd get a post office, a grocery store and/or a news station. Sounds good! Yeah... I might have a little too much rails in my town. I could probably reduce it a little, but I kinda also want to keep most of the track so all my trains and stations have room. :P But to return to the subject of this thread, I'm really excited for the City D2C. Especially for the rumoured yellow tram which will go well with the 2 previous trams. =D -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

It seems there has never been a post office under the City branding. The last one I could find is from 1985 (6689) which I coincidentally bought at a LEGO fair a year or two ago. And there was also one (6362) 3 years before that in 1982 which was also the very first set to contain anything post related in LEGO. I wish medical was also on a 3 year rotation like police and fire. I also still don't understand why there was no City train station in 2018 either. -
Why don't they just include the piece count on all sets?
-
Time for another Harry Potter marathon. ;)
-
Do they actually go underground in that sequence? Fluffy's room is on the 3rd floor (UK; 4th floor US). They don't go 4 or more floors down, do they?

I really hope we're getting Olivander's with DA, so I have a place to put all my spare wands as I have a loooooooot of them.

That's odd, it's not on the Dutch version of lego.com, but it is on the US one. -
The LEGO website actually says 18 months, not 1 year. It also mentions you'll get an email before they remove all of your VIP points.
-
To answer my own question: Seems like someone bought it today at a LEGO store, so that answers that.

Does anyone know if you can also get the Haunted House at a (physical) LEGO store as a VIP member? Or is it purely for online purchases from LEGO.com? P.S. It's available now in the Netherlands since 10:00 CEST.

I'm pretty sure I remember someone saying it being discontinued.
-
Yes, LEGO does sell these themselves as well.
-
Yeah, I thought it was Padma Patil as well, but then I checked and this minifigure is very similar to the Cho Chang minifigure from the CMF.
-
That is very nice indeed.
-
I wish LEGO had used someone else instead of Harry and Draco. We already have millions (slight exaggeration) of Harry and a few of Draco, I'd rather have other characters like Hannah Abbott. So far Cho Chang has only appeared once so I'm not too fussed about her being in this set as well, but I kinda hoped for another Ravenclaw that hasn't appeared yet as minifigure.
-
No, CMF series 2 is not for sale yet. If I remember correctly I read somewhere (probably here) that there won't be a rare minifigure in CMF series 2.

Some people like my cousin prefer to buy with box, but other people like me don't mind if the box is missing, for me a 100% complete set plus instructions suffices. -
Same in the Netherlands.
-
It may not say Creator Expert on the box, but on the LEGO website you can still find it under Creator Expert. EDIT: Seems like LEGO decided to fully drop the Creator Expert naming on the boxes from now on and indeed make them black like the Haunted House box as well as the Old Trafford box and make them 18+ (although Old Trafford was still 16+).

The 2008 Police Station is my favourite as well, my cousin has it and it looks awesome. =D I myself have the Police Headquarters from 1998 as well as the Police Station from 2017. I'm planning on getting the one from this year and make one giant police station from those 3 sets hopefully modular style if I got enough bricks for that otherwise it's bricklink time. :P -
True, but at least we got something new to discuss. :P
