Dejavu again? Years ago, me and my wife were on another forum, having posted many photos via photobucket. Then one day, without warning, poof, all photos gone. It ruined that forum, and the admin seriously considered pulling the plug. So because of previous bad experiences, i decided not ot use Flickr. I saw their imposing adverting, and had a bad feeling about it. Wouldn't it be better if the use of various picture hosting sites was encouraged, rather then just Flickr and brickshelf? And encouraging keeping backups, so that if Flickr dies, it doesn't ruin this forum aswell.

Hello Samuel. You could of course combine stop-motion videos with the star wars theme, maybe recreating scenes from star wars movies.

What a great idea, and it looks good. I can imagine that it took some time figuring out how to build it, it's not the easiest techniek to build vertical.

Simply amazing. The interior is even better then the exterior. The color choice is stunning. I like the way you made the windows with the clear 1x2 plates, will use that idea for bathroom windows in the future.

Looks great, the helicopter is very realistic.

I love the building, and the scene where lots of things are happening. I wonder how the building would look like when it was build with slightly discoloured bricks, instead of using bricks in different colors.

Thanks for the welcome! And i hope to show more builds, as i have plenty of ideas, like building a hobbit house, a simple wooden medieval longhouse, an old British cottage with cottage garden, and whatever else i will be inspired to do.

New member, just came out of the dark ages, which was quite long, as i played with lego in the 1970's, and just recently started enjoying lego again. Also shows how old i am. Back then it was mostly the 2x4 bricks on a thick baseplate. Times have changed, and now i see these wonderfull sets with all these wonderfull parts to build with, and think how much i have missed in all these years. My wife started again with lego earlier, with some smaller sets, but also the lego ideas fishinghut/shop, and a large ninjago set. So i got interested and bought a 3 in 1 set, made that with ease, then wanting a more challanging set, and bought the lego ideas treehouse. And while building this, i got inspired to make my own mocs, or mods. Without finishing taking the whole set apart, i started making my own mod/moc (not sure how to classify it, as i use parts of the treehuts) and made a log cabin with a green roof, that is a roof where plants grow on. It's not fancy, just put it together in two afternoons without greenery surrounding the log cabin, just to see what i could make with the parts from the treehouse set. Here are some photos I like the roof, and will use this again, making it much better then this. I have lots more ideas, but as me and my wife have just started, our collection of parts need to grow.
