    @LegoHoops The McLaren is looking very good! I also built most of the mono-cage with 3L black pins. Would you mind sharing more detailed photos of the rear?

    Hello, Not sure if it is allowed, if it's not I do apologize and fully agree to have this removed, but I thought this would be a good place to say that I am selling all the pieces to build this MOC. Spent great hours building it and it has been a center piece in my LEGO collection for quite a while but now it's time to build other things. It has the original Porsche wheels.     Here is the file. It is not 100% accurate in the bottom part because it was just impossible to see. If anyone improves it please share it back! @HRU_Bricks The cost of the EV3 components + the cost of the shock absorbers is also dragging me away from building this, so the Powered Up solution is very welcome. From what I saw in the video, your version looks very good and compact, Looking forward to your post in the GBC thread.

    @HRU_Bricks Thank you for sharing your file! I have finished a preliminary version of the 6-Axis Robot that I believe is 99% true to Akiyuki's original version. I will most likely apply the same modifications you applied to the arm, I don't fancy the asymmetric design either. May I ask why you changed to Powered Up motors and how did you adapt the design, (given that the EV3 Large motor output is perpendicular to it's symmetry line VS the Powered Up Large Motor output being parallel)? Also, can SNOT specialists figure out how the 02 numbering is built? I was interested in building not "02" but "06" actually.

    Finally after many weeks of waiting for parts, I built the McLaren! It was a really interesting building experience and it was good to see the use of techniques not commonly used by TLG.

    Is it possible to redo this step? I think it might be very hard to remove that axle 5 once it goes in so if I may, I suggest replacing it with an axle 7 and a bush:

    I'm really impressed at how recognizable this model is, considering the scale it's built. Are you considering making instructions? If so, I could help.

    Right, the only advantage for me would be making good use of the 42100 inventory, but I see many problems with it, starting with the fact that there are no extension cables and there's a 4 motor limit per hub.

    Do you think it's easy to retrofit the RC version with the new Control + elements or would it require sacrificing or changing important structural or design elements?

    What's the big deal about creating a new topic anyway? @bj51 when you can't figure out a solution for a problem, the best thing is to do is to change what's causing the problem in the first place. If you can't do that either, I think the solution you already found is quite good and not as bulky as it might look, especially compared to the scale of the model you're building. I was also thinking about using an 11L liftarm but changing the way it attaches to the body. Maybe interrupt the 13L DBG liftarms and use jumper plates to attach the liftarm, would that be possible?

    Do you need the first 2 holes at each end to remain free or just the first one?

    I wonder if anyone who built the Hockey Stick Lift module had this problem which I tried to demonstrate in this video: The motor is struggling periodically at some point of the movement but I can't identify what's causing this. I've checked for errors in the build but I couldn't identify any problem, and as far as I can tell, in the original Akiyuki video the motor doesn't seem to struggle at any point of the movement. Thank you (Just a reminder I am selling this module to be able to build others, if you're interested please contact me).
