Yeah not really, tlg goes to the trouble of “leaking” half assed looking builds to suck all You in and it seems to always works. Now it’s been put on a box you’re even more gullible it’s a finished kit. Why don’t people just wait before jumping to conclusions as it’s probably only 50/50 of actually been fully legit. -

So the guys that put their mocs on speed champions looking fake box art are the only people smart enough to do this? -

Very wise decision in my opinion. I think people have already forgotten the original leaked pictures of the D11 and zetros that turned out to be way off the final kit. -

Yeah that’s what I was kind of expecting that the airbus been licensed is what they show. Especially because it will be the release of the simple battery box finally although I do expect it to have had the same redesign with the lid as the C+ hub. I’m still not really buying into the crane with its piece count and price as I can’t see how it’s going to be that much better than 42042 without been twice the scale and the parts count makes that unlikely. -

Hasn’t part of the advertisement for legocon been that there will be reveals for pretty much every theme including technic. So with 42144/5 already revealed doesn’t this just leave the crane? -
Have you completely missed that the hubs and battery box are changing that’s why they keep getting taken off and put back. If you look at the hub in the new transformation vehicle it now has the screws which where rumors back when the zetros came out so the battery box will have to have the same upgrade. It’s not getting discounted and other more credible sources like racingbrick have covered why control+ sets and components had been getting marked as out of stock then coming back days later. If you head to the aus lego page you can still buy a battery box today

42146 - Liebherr LR13000

The point I’m trying to make is that people don’t seem to realize how little space this scale will have and how much room a hub takes up. The track frame will be just wrapped around the hub and the car body will be a few panels around the outside of the hub. From a technic point of view this seems to be a very boring build for a flagship especially if the boom is constructed with a simplified system. Once again compared to other cranes this one seems like a bust not a win but this is only driven by peoples assumptions and rumors -

I’m struggling to see where they will stuff 2x hubs and 6x motors in this scale of a crane. I’m also wondering how people are still assuming there’s a fly jib as it would certainly make the crane too fragile to meet lego requirements. -

I take it as 20x a new element makes up the 1kg counterweight so each piece weighs 50g. -

You may need to re-read then as they are referring to the height and say it has been trimmed which could also explain the rumored price reduction! -

So it’s shrunk in size, how’s this going to be much better than 42042 honestly? -

new rumors from promobricks 42146 [Loebherr LR 13000] A Liebherr LR 13000 (Photo: Liebherr) Probably the most impressive set of the upcoming LEGO Technic 2022 summer novelties of the second half of the year we will be a huge crane. This will be a Liebherr LR 13000, which is the strongest crawler crane in the world in real life with a load capacity of 3000 tons. The maximum system length of the crane is 246 m, which also makes it the largest crawler crane of all time. Set number: 42146 Name: [Liebherr LR 13000] Number of parts: 2882 Publication date: [01. August 2022] Availability: LEGO Recommended age: 18+ MSRP: 449.99 Euro And the LEGO model will probably also be just as impressive, because it is said to be the highest LEGO Technic model of all time. Last month we assumed that it would be at least 1.50 m high, but it now seems that the crane has been trimmed a little during the ongoing design process. This would also explain why, according to the latest information, the price in Germany should be 449.99 euros, instead of the 599.99 US dollars known to us. Incidentally, we can now confirm that the relatively small number of parts of 2882 actually comes from the fact that LEGO uses a lot of new 7×17 knobs large molded parts for the crane's lattice poles, which drive the price in height and the number of parts into the basement. In addition, there will be 20 new elements that result in a counterweight of 1 kg. The mismatch between price and number of parts (over 20 ct per part) can probably also be explained to a certain extent by the use of a lot of electronic Control+ elements. There will be a total of 6 motors and 2 smart hubs in the set, the crane will be controlled via Control+ app.
