Destin Daniel Cretton recently shared a picture on set with framed pictures of Spider-Man comic covers in the background. Kevin Fiege mentioned Destin wants to adapt iconic comic covers and panels for the film. Some months ago, there were some rumored villains for the film, and two of them are featured on the comic covers in Deston's post. There may be more accuracy to those rumors a few months ago, which if true, makes the potential Minifigure selection intriguing. -

Tbf, Marvel only just recently delayed Avengers: Doomsday, so it’s possible for us to learn descriptions for the sets, even though we wouldn’t get them until much later. Similar to how we got a description for the Captain America: Brave New World set roughly a year before the set released. -

The rest are 9+, 10+, and 11+ sets unlike the four leaked sets today (6-7+ sets), so my guess is they're MCU/Infinity Saga sets. -

The source is the same BrickTap source who a couple months ago suggested we may be getting another F4 set in 2026 and recently mentioned we could be getting a shirtless Ben Grimm. All he said in the post was 'Nightcrawler.' Someone asked if it's for Doomsday, and he responded that he hadn't considered that, so Nightcrawler might be for Doomsday. -

Really enjoying this CMF and the designs of all the characters. I noticed Cyborg Spider-Woman's new molded shoulder pad and mask are the same piece. I part of me wishes it was separate. Also curious, does Prowler's mask plug on like a helmet or does it connect to the neck like a gas mask? -

I agree. I feel less confident that we'll get 5+ sets though. For Ghost Rider, even if we get him, I assume anyone not mentioned during the cast livestream has either a small role or a secret role (in which case, no minifigure). I also feel that the characters we get will likely reflect who we've gotten in recent years, so: Avengers (Thor, Cap, Ant-man, Black Panther), F4, and Doom. I think we'll get some X-Men & Thunderbolts, but not many. Maybe Bucky & Yelena for Thunderbolts, and IDK who for X-Men. Probably Magneto & Cyclops. -

On the BrickTap discord. The user who first leaked the Spider-Verse CMF figures said recently there may be another F4 set next year. He wasn't 100% though. The only Marvel film I've seen picking up steam for 2027 is X-Men. They have a writer, producer, and soon a director. Maybe we'll get an answer during SDCC. Doctor Strange 3 would be fun though. -

There's apparently an untitled Marvel film for July 2027. Unless its a mistake or something changes, we may get sets for Secret Wars and one other film. -

There was a rumor we'd get another Fantastic Four set next year (still based off the film, of course). If true, I hope we get a new Human Torch, Silver Surfer, & HERBIE. A Fantasticar set and/or Baxter Building would be a fun addition. -

You say that now, but when Ben Grimm shouts, "It's morbin' time," and Jared Leto cartwheels through a portal, you'll eat your words. -

Is it considered a spoiler to discuss the Thunderbolts recent branding? I'm curious how Lego may react with potential Doomsday sets or the possibility of retroactive Thunderbolts sets. -

Was most excited for the Iron Man 2 set. Absolutely disappointed by the drones. They looks so slender and weird. I wasn't planning on getting the Spider-man 2 set, but it's grown on me. Doc-Ock looks phenomenal, as do JJ and Aunt May. Love the tentacles, and I'm glad they updated the hair and swapped out the gray torso & legs with brown. -

Funnily enough, I kept my expectations low and am oddly satisfied with this set. I don’t mind Galactus being a construction figure (it was to be expected). I just hope they get his head shape right. Though the costumes are different, they’re not so different that Sue, Johnny, and Ben having the same design bothers me. They should have had dual molded legs in my opinion, and from the leaked torso pic, I would be disappointed if they don’t have gloves. I’m excited we’re getting a new head cap mold for Ben (Lego is going to reuse the crap out of that piece). Only other thing I want for Ben are some white armor to broaden the shoulders so he doesn’t look too awkward with the bulging fists and head. There was always the possibility (greater in my opinion) that we’d get a normal Johnny with flames accessories. I would one day want Johnny to use the Ghost Rider head mold in the future though. Transparent disc pieces for Sue are fine. Would’ve liked to have had a translucent leg or two, but I wasn’t holding my breath. Neat that Reed has his own torso with him being the leader of sorts. Stretchy arms would be fun, but I also didn’t want a Reed that’s perpetually stretching. In the future though, stretchy arms and Avatar legs would be cool. Shame there’s no HERBIE or Silver Surfer mentioned. -

I kind of agree. I don't anticipate another F4 set in the immediate future, but I would also think Lego would want to take advantage of any new molds they make (like the Thing's new molded head cap). And there's also the possibility that after Avengers, Lego designs a wave of Multiverse Saga sets just as they've done the past few years with the Infinity Saga. -

Colors look a bit faded compared to the vibrancy of the Fantastic Four's costumes, but other than that, it's Galactus 1:1 All I want now is to know if either Silver Surfer or HERBIE will be in the set. I can see the latter being a small build. -

Since Endgame sets avoided spoilers with a barrage of outriders and Quantum realms suits, I've been curious to know what the Secret Wars equivalent would be. Doombots instead of Outriders/Chitauri? All the Avengers & X-Men in TVA suits? If that leaked concept art is real, we get a bunch of 1602 Avengers? -

For me personally, the figures are all I’m really interested in, so the fact we’re getting the Thunderbolts & X-Men (and I don’t think they’re cameos) has me really excited. During CinemaCon, Feige said the focus would be on the Avengers, Wakandans, Thunderbolts, F4, and “original” X-Men fighting Doom. This makes it sound like the X-Men will have roles similar to the Guardians in Infinity War, so I think we’ll get some representation in the sets. Also, with the Wakandans returning, I hope we get a Midnight Angels figure. -

If it's anything like the Secret Wars comic, the X-Men could prove to have a larger role than expected (Instead of Earth-1610, we get Earth-10005). This doesn't mean we'll get everybody in Lego (obviously), but everything has been building up to Doomsday & Secret Wars, so I expect these heroes to have larger roles than just cameos and end-credit scenes. The rumor mill surrounding films like Doctor Strange MoM and Deadpool & Wolverine were extreme, but if any film is to have that level of craziness, it probably should be Avengers. Spider-Man and Avengers (via Infinity Saga) make up most of Lego Marvel, but with the state of the Lego Marvel theme lately, how many sets do you all think we'd get for Doomsday? Most Avengers films get 4-6+, but now I don't know. Maybe we'll get some retroactive sets in 2032.
