  1. Hey i really like your mods! You did a nice job after returning to legos after 10 years! Would you be able to take more photos? tim
  2. Nice car. that thing goes really fast. i am guessing the light weight body helps. tim
  3. Agreed. Its like they gave the motor placement to an intern . tim
  4. i would love to see a video as well. Very nice progress! tim
  5. wow at first i was like okay maybe the model is a replica of those super long armed excavators. But then i saw the rest of the best crawl in and i was like . that thing is huge! tim
  6. aww man i missed out . When can we all chat again? tim
  7. There are two options. 1. You click the "insert media" button when you post on Eurobricks. Then go to the actual video page on youtube and copy and past the url. 2. You go onto the actual video's page on youtube and copy and past the link as a clickable link here on eurobricks. tim
  8. haha wow that is definitely dedication! I don't think i would do that... tim
  9. Agreed, those renders are stunning. How many parts does this beast have approximately/ tim
  10. that body looks cool. Maybe you could fit some sort of off road atv into the back of the body that firefighters could use to get to fires quickly. tim
  11. That is strange. i do not remember that happening when i built the set. Sorry i cant see any problems . tim
  12. Wow nice hummer. it really looks like the original. tim
  13. If everything is built properly it should work. Even if it was built correctly some pins might have slipped and making sure all the pins are snug might help to! tim
  14. Well you will need an old 9v style cable(can be found on Bricklink.com) and a new conversion cable from Lego, which can be found on the Lego Group's website. tim EDIT: I guess i am not a fast enough poster .
  15. looks good so far! post more when you have some more progress. tim
  16. And the idea is executed perfectly! That is a very nice idea. tim
  17. I have been thinking about it and actually in one class at school we are making websites for asssignment, but i just dont have the time at the moment . I dont think that will ever fail! Now if you hook up an xl motor to each input, it would be unstopable . tim
  18. I agree, the extra blades look very nice. Are you going to make more attachments? tim
  19. Nice tractor. Have you built any attachments? tim
  20. Welcome to the Forum! First try looking at some of the great models on Brickshelf. Many fantastic builders post photos there. Some stand out builders are Nico71, Sariel, and GuiliuG. Overall the best thing is to just build! i to have trouble building studless and i find after looking at other people's models i get inspiration. tim
  21. I would avoid painting Lego. No matter how good you are with a paint can, you will not be able to replicate the finish of TLG parts. tim
  22. I would defiantly try the worm gear if you find that the gears keep slipping, although it might be even harder to brace the worm gear. tim
  23. wow that drive works surprisingly well for such a large model. tim
