  1. Don't you agree that it resembles of the old divers subtheme two decades and three years ago?
  2. Only 2 out of 5 sets(polybag included) has named characters. Also Harl Hubbs may be one of them but unsure as the picture is still blurry.
  3. Oh wow, I never expected an underwater base. That reminds me of the 6441 Deep Sea Refuge from 1997 Divers. Same with a very long haul boat from 6560 Diving Expedition Explorer. Also Great White Shark and Stingray new mould. Overall not bad.
  4. Beautiful . Just beautiful! To elaborate. Each of the creator sets this summer are really interesting, not only from the original builds but from their alternate builds as well.
  5. What do you expect for a theme that is targeting a specific demographic?
  6. Your not alone with that. I was thinking maybe they could add someone from the old LEGO themes. Sadly its not but at least you have your imagination to help you get started.
  7. A bit disappointed with these especially the $99 airport but at least it includes some interesting minifigures including poppy whom she is from the city adventures cartoon. EDIT: I also found out the new mold piece for the cockpit
  8. Also, at the bottom left there is a National Geographic logo which means there will be some inspiration about the underwater theme much like how LEGO use space theme as inspiration to NASA
  9. Oh wow! That leaked sword reminded me of cloud's buster sword from FF7
  10. No wonder they have the same mustache's Also I watch the review and according to the reviewer. The name of the kid in blue is Dark Shark which is a nod to the alternate name of BSB for Europeans
  11. Its official. I'm putting this as my wanted list. EDIT: Is it me or are they gonna add balljoints to the ship to bring more stability to it?
  12. I know that but its weird to have their big suave mustaches from the two of the crew.
  13. Why not you ask the Governor himself.
  14. I'm sticking to one build though which is of course the ship but then again, I do like how the bay looks. Its as if the BSB was wrecked during the battle against the imperial soldiers and then found land and rebuilt it as their forbidden isl... . heh heh, very clever LEGO.
  15. Lol. I forgot about that. Good find though
  16. No, your not. I'm on your side. Be thankful that you loved it.
  17. @BrickJohn And speaking of older sets: The OG Black Seas Barracuda has 8 minifigs. The Pirate Bay has the same 8 minifigs with a skeleton and shark as a bonus. Also there are some references to other themes like the kahuka statue of the islanders.
  18. I don't care what everyone says about the pirate bay. Its not what we expected, but the best part with this is that it can convert into the modern version of the legendary Black Seas Barracuda. That is enough for me to buy that. I am a bit disappointed with some of the crew like why put a mustache accessory in two minifigs is beyond me
  19. So it finally happened. I was about to go ballistic with joy but not yet though. Still waiting to see how the minifigs would look like.
  20. Same here, it looks very impressive when displayed at the shelf. I'm going to get the Boba Fett one for sure. Also the boxes are in age range 18+ in which rumors are confirmed that we will be getting 18+ sets like this one
  21. Ghostbusters Afterlife: Ecto-1 leak spotted. Still not sure if its legit though. EDIT: After checking the leak again to compare with the previous ecto-1 set, its apparently fake. Most of the comments that were updated in instagram confirm this, its basically a modified version of the previous Ecto-1 from LEGO Ideas . Plus, if this leak was legit, it would spam the heck out of it. I only see two pictures and no one re-posted it.
  22. Before Jackie chan voiced Master Wu in The Lego Ninjago Movie, he did an action scene inside a Lego store.
  23. Just a quick update. This was posted February 23 According to the LEGO Group CEO, Niels B. Christiansen, the company’s China strategy will not be impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. As the LEGO Group unveils upcoming products at New York Toy Fair, CEO Niels B. Christiansen has confirmed in an interview that the coronavirus outbreak in China will not affect the company’s plans there. The LEGO leader told China Global Television Network: “We will continue in China like we have been doing, like we are doing. We continue investment, continue building our organization, continue trying to get the LEGO brand to many more families and kids in China.” With China the production powerhouse of much of the toy industry, factory shutdowns due to the coronavirus outbreak have impacted supply chains. “They [The government] have taken very serious measures quite quickly and come up with pretty clear guidelines,” says Christiansen in the interview. We’ve been following those guidelines and are pretty confident that kind of concrete measures would be a good way to deal with it.” The LEGO Group has a strategy of expansion in China as the company struggles to continue the annual growth it has enjoyed in Europe and the USA over the past decade. https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-ceo-says-coronavirus-outbreak-will-not-impact-china-strategy/
