  1. The first big ship built by Greybeard, a Ketch, was given a strong name, Treasure of Poseidon, to help her on her voyages. A swift, strong raider-and-trader, the Treasure of Poseidon was built wide and sturdy to allow her to stand her own against ships much bigger than herself. She is armed with 12 12-pounders, viz, 10 on the gundeck, and 2 as stern chasers. Her sails were large to provide manoeuvrability and speed. The crew works unceasingly to make this ship as efficient as possible. The blunt, cat built bow is designed to provide minimal drag and has a small figurehead.
  2. Ahoy @Barbatos, I've seen your beautiful work on instagram and am very happy her finished. She's amazing and very realistic to the films.
  3. Wow, these are totally awesome! Great idea to put them all on one island!
  4. Awesome, Love all the details!
  5. Happy Christmas all! @AyrlegoI love the Motley collection of BoBs characters, and it was great to see Sean there!
  6. Wow, @NOD, a wonderful translation of the Barracuda style into frigate form! Perfect!
  7. I am sorry to say that you are totally derailing my topic. @Sebeus I's original post was relating to my frigate but this is not. It would be better as a private message or a separate topic.
  8. Wasn't quite thinking of a next part, but I might do it since you've suggested it.
  9. Black Rock "Black Rock, the Black Flag capitol, a den of debauchery, violence and sin, away from all, reachless, was established by some scurvy outcast, about a year ago... but before them... He came, and made his den up on the hill. His true name was unknown, although he had many names, the most famous was L' Alchimiste, although what he actually got up to was unknown. What science he studied, alchemy or what else, was meaningless - what truly mattered were his plans. When he found the island he thought he that this was the perfect remote place for his plans. Plans that his former country rejected with him. L' Alchimiste dreamed of revenge.
  10. Don't worry, she's not at all changed since last pictures but I appreciate the help. The new stern design does look much nicer and cleaner than the current one I have now but I'm still not sure about the height. Also, I can't wait to see how the new Beatrice turns out. Thanks!
  11. Great idea, Sean Greybeard would enjoy attending!
  12. Great style, I like the contrasting chimney and again the whole look is brilliant.
  13. You are becoming a master of plantations @NOD! I have to say I agree. Is there a reason for this?
  14. OK, probably because I'm using a phone. I'll try on a computer.
  15. I'll be getting my moc ready in time, but I do have one question - how do I make a spoiler tag?
  16. It's awesome finished @Ayrlego. I love it. This interpretation of your style and especially the auburn and ochre colours are really good. The building, too, is spot on and I love the way the mill and tree blend seamlessly and realistically into the base. Awesome, it deserves a frontpage!
  17. @Darnok Awesome, just thinking about this thread yesterday! I don't mind what day I can do as I can build soon but preferably day 7 or more. I have a question though - when I've finished the build, do I post it straight away, or wait till the date?
  18. Wwwow! This is awesome, very unique but still retaining the distinctive style of your previous builds. I love it! The use of chairs as Mill wheels is ingenious!
