  1. Thanks for all the comments, I appreciate them. There is no interior yet. Many of the windows use some complicated SNOT techniques that make interior decorating somewhat problematic (e.g. the circular window.) The LDD file is not optimized for parting out. The landscaping could be streamlined; right now, it is sprinkled with 1x1 plates. I don't have any pictures of the physical build right now, but it has a lot more interior supporting structure. I have a rather large collection, but the majority of my tan bricks come from 4842, 4954, and 71006. The largest Bricklink order I had to make was for the sand green roof tiles. I bought 2500 1x2 and 1x3 tiles for around 150 USD. The roof has a much nicer texture in real life.
  2. It is sometimes difficult to find parts the way LEGO sorts them on LDD, but I do like how digital builds are a lot easier to take apart than their plastic counterparts.
  3. Hello all, This is my entry for the LDD Contest Free Build. This MOC is a WIP in real life, but when the contest was announced I designed the rest of the house digitally. Here is the link to the .lxf file if you want to look: https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing Enjoy!
  4. Hello, Here is my entry for the free build, Langenburg Mansion. It is based off a real house, but this version is not fully complete yet. I am not sure if I will have anymore time to improve this design before the deadline. When the landscaping is included, the model is a smidge longer than 100 bricks. Here is a link for the .lxf file: https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing
  5. Wow, that is a fantastic find! Very clear pictures also Cargo - Those new doors appear to be much more functional than the previous planes. I do wonder how those gray containers are made though. Police Station - Not the prettiest looking, I'll have to wait for the final product. Those captions do seem to hint at it being modular, and are those light bley colored tools to the left of the prison cells? Interesting Creator, that house looks very nice. A mini dark green train? What a tease. The Technic sets don't really appeal to me though I have never really been into them. Funny thing, many of the Technic sets appear in the Lugnet poll asking what Technic sets AFOLs are looking for. It is as though they are asking for feedback on the sets after LEGO has decided to release them. Star Wars - Unfortunately, nothing that really draws me to buying these either though the Rebel Battlepack is amazing. On Guilty Light: though the figs might be semi-appealing I cannot see myself buying all the bricks to go with them. Castle - Dwarves Mine and possibly the Battleship are what is good here. I've got to check my Target soon for the Dwarves Mine. Indy - Excluding the Temple Escape, I will probably pick up all of those. No new skin tones for the natives though. :-( Racers - The miniature take on the Ferrari line is cool. I'm just suprised no one is absolutely psyched for those Speed Racer sets!! I do believe I spy the Mammoth Car though these are probably all mini scale. *hopes for minifig sets in the future* Bionicle - Eh, not that good. And they had to stick with the non-reusable containers too. Exo-Force - Interesting new spiky pieces but no new characters! >:-( (Trapped Keiken is pretty funny though) Impulse - Who would have expected a printed hat? And that robot has a cheap metal detector. Duplo/Belville - That is really nothing I am into but I do remember that old dinosaur theme.
