  1. Any good ideas for Jimmy Olsen?
  2. I want an Anti-Moniter bigfig for Darkseid war. Also chuck in some parademons.
  3. Tom Holland nailed it as Spider-Man! Really looking forward to Homecoming. Loved T'challa too. The airport fight scene was a real spectacle too.
  4. Nice trailer - doesn't show too much. I'm quite excited for this, it doesn't just look like a fresh Marvel movie, but a fresh movie as a whole. It has some inception vibes to it as well.
  5. It's a shame it's not a new variant of Damian. And I agree with others - I really like the New52 Red Robin suit, it gives him his own unique look, very distinct from other Batfamily members.
  6. Can someone help me? I'm trying to make the superman logo out of 1x1 studs but I can't quite get it. Here is what I've made so far: http://imgur.com/GGCE26V Any help would be appreciated Made it better by not having the inner S touch the outer shield: http://imgur.com/oP0sG6r
  7. Also I want to reiterate my love for the score of this movie. The music that plays during the death of Bruce's parents was very very emotional, especially when it was done again during the Martha scene. The original Man of Steel motifs are great. The Wonder Woman music gives me chills it's so badass. Oh and I love Lex's theme which is a dark twist on the original MoS motif.
  8. The problem isn't the fact that the cameos were in there, it's just that they were shoehorned in so badly. Spoilers: The 2 minute scene where Wonder Woman is just watching videos of the other Leaguers just felt so out of place, like they paused the movie to say "Hey, look at these heroes too!" The first flash cameo I was ok with though.
  9. Any torso recommendations for an under-suit for Batman? (Google images it and you'll see what I mean) Also, any ideas for other heads for Bruce Wayne, maybe even a stubble?
  10. Has anyone ever made a moc Black Zero in any scale? I need some inspiration.
  11. Ben Affleck was a great batman but there was one major problem: I agree that the plot is at times clunky but if you don't let it bother you it's not too jarring. The ending fights were glorious. It was quite shallow, in terms of intrigue and philosophy which slightly disappointed me, but overall I really enjoyed the film. While I never complained about the humour in MoS, this movie definitely has a lot more humour - from Luthor and Perry White especially. A lot of the humour is dramatic irony, but I don't mind that - this movie is trying to be serious and if they went for the Avengers humour it just wouldn't have worked. The movie had a lot of character and made some very bold decisions. I think the one thing DC seems to have going for it at the moment is that its films feel unique. Man of Steel was a story of struggle, beginnings and hope. Batman vs superman was a lot darker and tried to deal with some philosophical ideas like absolute power etc. Suicide squad looks like it'll be a fun, light-hearted though with a twisted crazy side too. Overall I'm really looking forward to the rest of the DCEU.
  12. Good trailer, if a little revealing. Still though, the Ant Man shot looks great. Spidey's costume is nothing if underwhelming but hopefully that's his home-made one and he gets a decent costume later. Also kind of bummed they made the same mistake as BvS trailer and spoiled Spidey's introduction.
  13. I quite liked the first trailer to begin with, but this trailer is so much better. The jokes were very good, Patty's reaction to falling through the crowd and Hemsworth's logo idea I haven't seen the original Ghostbusters but this movie seems like a pretty good, standard comedy-action movie to me.
  14. Yeah sure DC is playing catch up, but as long as it works I don't really mind. Are they copying Marvel? No... Not in any way I see. I can hardly judge the two cinematic universes right now, but as far as I can tell it looks like, as someone mentioned, each DC movie will have a different feel. As of right now I like the idea presented in the trailers of a world in which some are rejecting this alien, in which unaccountable, God-like power is challenged. For Civil War I just don't personally feel the same stakes. I mean sure, Captain America is a powerful guy, but in reality he's saved the world twice over the last few years and has never put anyone in harm's way. Superman on the other hand led Zod to Earth and fought him in a manner that led to many deaths. The prospect of an unaccountable Superman is much more interesting than an unaccountable Captain America. Now don't get me wrong, I fear a lot for BvS. It may well be overcrowded but I'm not too worried about that in reality. Really I am worried they will only touch the political issues on the surface. I really want the movie to address the nature of uncontrolled power and actually RESOLVE it. If batman and superman are fighting and then the baddie turns up so they unite, I will be dissapointed. This is the trap CA:TWS fell into; Cap was saved from having to choose between his government and his morals because it turned out it was all Hydra's plan. It would've been much more satisfying if he had to have made a decision without one of the sides being labelled EVIL in big bold writing. But anyway, like I said: these are just musings. I hope BvS will be as good as i think it will - due to the rewrites of Affleck and Terrio. Until then (only 25 days!!) I will withhold any strong opinions.
  15. I think it's great there's going to be - as rumoured atm - an R-rated directors cut released next to the DVD. Obviously the movie's going to be a PG-13, DC couldn't risk an R, especially for these characters who are traditionally quite child-friendly. A directors cut would be great for the older, die-hard fans who would appreciate the few extra scenes.
  16. Thanks man, that's perfect! But yeah will definitely need to add some grey.
  17. Hey guys I have a question. I'm making a Man of Steel diorama and I need some military jets to attack the Black Zero space ship. Have lego released any military jets, or rather any aeroplanes that could pass for military jets recently? (since obviously lego doesn't do military things)
  18. Has everyone seen these deleted scenes from AoU? http://www.cosmicbooknews.com/content/watch-avengers-age-ultron-deletedextended-scenes#axzz40WrXeWCf
  19. That is such a good trailer. Batfleck looks like it could be the best Batman on screen. Really excited
  20. Just saw Deadpool, it was quite good, but not amazing. The sequel should definitely be better because they won't have to spend so much time on the origins story.
  21. They'll probably tease Siderman in the last major trailer - April some time. Just as they did with Vision... although hopefully they don't put spidey in a million TV spots.
  22. Red Hood looks brilliantly designed and he's one of my favourite characters too.
  23. Big fig croc, RED HOOD, Katanna and Boomerang in one set? That's going to be an insta-buy for me! The scarecrow set will be good too, I just hope we get an updated scarecrow.
  24. It looks great! Definitely going to be a breath of fresh air having a Wonder Woman movie after decades of batman and superman movies.
  25. Season 10 will air in 2017 Moffat is leaving after season 10 http://comicbook.com/2016/01/22/steven-moffat-leaving-doctor-who-after-season-10-broadchurch-cre/
