Thank you a lot! -
Hello everyone! I want to share my latest and probably the most complex EV3 creation with you. Watch this video to see this robot arm in action. Are you interested in this creation? I would be very happy if you visit my website. https://tomastechnic.com/sorting-robot/ You will find there a lot of photos, more information and high quality building instructions. It is fair to say that they are not for free. It took quite a lot of time to make them.

Thank you everyone! It is a huge motivation for me to keep building. Thank you! Yes, there is not enough torque to make the wheels "slip" so it works well. Thank you! I think that the idea with chain won't work because there will be nothing to push the chain to the input 16t wheel. Thanks! Yes, it does. Thank you! I had considered it but then I realized that I haven't got enough IR receivers to power more than six functions.

I am glad to show you one of the biggest creation I have ever made. I would say that this is a "true MOC" because it is not o model of some specific real machine. It is just some kind of forest machine. I think that the video will show you the functions in the best way. This mechanism allows to transfer rotations thru a sharp angle. More photos can be found on my website: https://tomastechnic.com/forest-machine/

Thank you! I think it is fair to say that this magazine is not 100% reliable. Mainly if it shoots rounds at maximum rate of fire it gets stuck sometimes. But if you use lower rate of fire it is nearly stuckless. Thanks! I wonť build a tank with this. It is so large and it would be quite impossible to make a not ugly tank with it. But maybe I will invent more compact version of this shooting mechanism.

This electronic meter can reliably measure the length of a Lego beam in a few seconds. If the touch sensor is released, the brain measure the rotations of the motor and then compute the beam size thanks to the range block. You can visit my website to see some photos and to download building instructions and EV3 program. https://tomastechnic.com/beam-meter/

This crawler is driven by two PF L motors with total gear ratio 1:5. It has got no differential to ensure best terrain performance. Each wheel is steered by a PF servo motor which is located in the front axle. The main feature of this creation is the extra soft suspension. The shock absorbers are compressed about 50% in idle position. It offers 100mm of suspension travel thanks to the long axle arms. The outdoor performance of this crawler is surprisingly good. Maybe you think that L motors are not strong enough but I can make sure that they are. Even powered just with a standard battery box with rechargeable batteries. I have also build axles with XL motors but they definitely weren't as good as axles with L motors. Mostly because their bigger size.
