  1. What's everyone's favorite animal mould? Mine is the chocolate lab from the 2021 city center set.
  2. Or....I could just see how much the old farm is going for on the internet.
  3. Ugh! Looks like I'll just stick with trying to find and order the old 2009 barn online.
  4. Yooooo! I've always wanted Lego sets for the Chicago Series. Sort of a TFOL take on City.
  5. I haven't had that experience on the bikes that I have purchased. Matter of fact, the 2021 stunt bikes work perfectly for me.
  6. Older City sets are better than newer ones.
  7. I'm going to start collecting older sets again. Maybe I'll find the 2009 farm set into there.
  8. Yeah! Like, they are LITERALLY the same bricking price! The top floor of the school needed major changes; the left side and the roof being the two major changes. The rest of the building doesn't really bother me as City is always straight to the point with their sets anyway. Just take all the extra stuff out and just have the main parts. I'm assuming that art (the easel and paints) and music (the drums and concert ads) happen on the first floor along with the lobby and on the second-floor science (the plants, microscope, genetics chart and solar system), health (the skeleton), history (the ancient crystal) and home room (the desks) takes place on the top floor. Physical Education, I'm assuming takes place outdoors along with recess from the looks of the rock climbing area and hop scotch. Then there was the school bus which could've had an extra set of windows near the driver's seat. I'd also try and fit another set, install back wheel arches and replace the gray front bumper with a black one like actual American style school buses do - which is what it is supposed to be based off of. I'd also do a blacktop package for the school bus and change the wheel color from silver to black. One has to wonder where the children eat lunch.
  9. Tell us that on the City 2022 forum. 😉
  10. Most of the time, I get the one I wanted the most. But I couldn't slip it past my parents - who are critical about me being an AFOL without them knowing. So I had to wait to buy to school. Finally got it last night along with a bonus gift of the playground polybag.
  11. Hey guys! I brought the police car and stunt plane. The school will be my second.
  12. Now that's something I'd definitely do. Considering that I plan to buy more than one fire vehicle this year, I'll need the extra garage bay.
  13. Oh my bad! The yellow pieces looked like they were glow in the dark to me. That's why I asked. I saw that too. I'd probably add more some arches to the back wheels, re-color the front grill and bumpers and switch the white "SCHOOL BUS" sign to a yellow one. I'd also add a roof to the school.
  14. Yeah! I agree. I'd definitely do the produce van. How about something that we have NEVER seen in the City theme before. A water canteen truck! That would be in shut up and take my darn money territory. I'd also go for a juice van. The way the school bus for this year was done opens up an opportunity for a paratransit shuttle bus.
  15. @TeriXeri @danth I don't mean to complain, but it seems like there has been too much repetition when it comes to City's great vehicles. During the recent years, it seems like we get the following; a hauler, an aircraft, some 4+ heavy machinery, a motorsport vehicle and some type of out of the city vehicle. That's kinda getting old. I wish they'd change it up. Give us something we haven't seen in ages such as a fuel tank truck or an bank truck or a mail van.
  16. LMBO!!!!! That catalog had sets from different eras of police. That's why!
  17. Along with a mail van of course. None of the postal workers have bikes in my state. I live in a cul-de-sac in a suburban neighborhood so weve got mail cars. The postal cars have the drivers side on the right side for easier access to mail boxes. So if the post office had a mail car instead of a van, I wouldn't mind that either.
  18. Speaking of......it's about time Lego did another post office. It has been more than two decades since Lego has done one. Perhaps they can take influence from thus one.
