  1. Do you think there is any possibility that there will be another “catch” minifigure like Mr. Gold was?
  2. Like @Berthil said, it is not that difficult to run this contest. Would you be able to help run it if I created the basis for it, @Jim? Who would be willing to donate some prizes for it?
  3. Is this still something that is going to happen in the future or not?
  4. You can find a current annual contest on https://discord.gg/ttmMqSn9.
  5. I use loom bands as well. I have since built the loader and have it working well. The parts needed for the unloader have been ordered and then I will be able to test the whole module and see how it operates in that situation.
  6. I have a minor correction to what I stated beforehand. The shock absorbers do not seem to be performing as well as when rubber bands that were substituted. I have drawn this conclusion after some testing of the units in general.
  7. I have a small update regarding the train module. I am still waiting on the items I need to arrive for the loader and unloader in general. I managed to get both reversers working with the shock absorbers instead of using the rubber bands as a substitute for them.
  8. I am planning on using the original unloader to start. I might need assistance with substituting the shock absorbers with counterweights though. I will have to wait and see how it operates before I make that decision.
  9. I have started working on this train module and have it working well. I have built the two reverser units with the modifications from @dunes. I have also built the train cart with the modifications from @Doug72. I have ordered the parts to complete the loader and the unloader and am waiting on them to arrive. I appreciate all of the information and discussion in this thread. I would like to become an active participant in it. This forum has been of much help when I have needed assistance on different items including this one to be rather specific.
  10. Does anyone know if the Akiyuki six axis robot arm has already been reverse engineered? I am interested in working on the official module that uses that specific mechanism.
  11. @Ankoku I am going to continue working on that module and completing the information needed to create a post regarding it. Once I have created one, I will be sure to send you a message with the link to this specific post so that you can put a link to it on here. Does that work with you? @Berthil That is exactly what I was wanting to accomplish. I really hope that we can end up doing so.
  12. @Ankoku I have now reverse engineered the Akiyuki workshop module from a previous JapanBrickFest show. I was hoping that I could get my work referenced in addition to the information that is already present there. Would you please be able to do that for me after I finalize the instructions and digital design? Thank you very much in advance.
  13. I agree with everything that you have said. Since Ankoku now has permission to edit the first post of this topic, I feel as if we can definitely continue the discussion as normal in this thread. I agree with everything that you have said as well. Since Ankoku now has permission to edit the first post of this topic, I feel as if we can definitely continue the discussion as normal in this thread. I am glad that you were looking into being able to do so. That was one of my largest concerns with this original thread. I am very happy to hear that this has now been figured out. Thank you very much for looking into this and for working to find a solution to this growing problem.
  14. @Filipe128 I’m definitely interested in it! How much are you asking? Shipped from USA? Can you ship assembled? A reply is appreciated! Thank you! Sincerely, Ethan McCain
  15. @Ankoku Added to original post above.
  16. @Ankoku I believe it was from 2018. Shown in the BrickWorld videos from a builder who went to JapanBrickFest.
  17. Good Evening! Today, I present to the Akiyuki fan community the Akiyuki Workshop Module from JapanBrickFest that I just finished reverse-engineering. Overall, it is just the original module. I made some noticeable changes to each individual piston structure and to the input bin to improve reliability and decrease friction being conducted. It has been tested for a good chunk of time and has been repeatedly ran in test loops. It has ran perfectly and has proved itself to be very reliable. After some consideration, I have decided not to publish building instructions for this module since it is not my original design. You still can easily build it from the picture below and others floating around in GBC layout videos. I hope you all enjoy! You can see this module in action at the 12 minute mark in the following video. Ethan McCain
  18. The price for this set is amazing. The price per piece ratio is fantastic compared to previous year winter village sets.
  19. @tibal3132 That snake slide widget it just a bunch of half liftarms joined by 2L technic beams and blue pins. The axles going out of the bottom are for support. Hope this helps! @dunes Looking good! That's a nice mod to the crane module. I would say it is better than the chain for sure. I ran a module with chain at BW. (Terrible mistake) it broke several times. Also, nice use of the new 28 tooth gear.
  20. @Ankoku I own a copy of the Akiyuki “Lifter Triggered By A Stuck Ball” as well. I have issues where the balls get trapped under the arm and then the arm can not go all the way down to load the next ball causing a jam. I’m probably not going to mess with mine. I just like to have it in my module collection. If you or anyone else in here finds any modifications to be proven reliable and helpful please post them here. All help is appreciated!
  21. @Ankoku I easily see it! Hehe! What module is that?
