    Pretty sure cjd received a cease and desist letter from star wars or lego. What's weird is the brick collective version was reeeeaalllyyy inspired by mortesv's version....so its weird how mortesvs is seemingly gone for good when his was the OG.

    He's talking about how LDD hasn't had updates for years, so uploading the MOC doesn't render all the pieces. It's way more difficult to try to build now then it even was back then. I'm lucky in that I built 5 before all this happened.

    The sandcrawler I view as a very slow gather. Just be patient grab 1 or 2 with other bricks when you can for .30 cents each or something. Spread these rare parts out and buy when it makes sense

    Just gotta go through this topic page by page and make notes. Many parts are hard to come by/expensive. If you change the color like my blue one, then you could save a good $100 or so at least I'd say.

    Question: Even if you can get the instructions through ebay or here...how can you possibly get a re-print of the stickers, mainly for the cockpit? Are there any stickers out there that would be a fair replacement from another set? Thanks!

    Ah ok, makes sense. I've been having to go to my buddies place to build the transport because for some reason his computer hasn't updated LDD yet or something so it still loads will all parts and goes through step by step. Meanwhile my macbook air, PC, and ipad wont even open LDD lol

    Ok sweet, cause I have a ton of that in black! And oh I already do that haha. I've already done 2 of mortesv's nebulon B frigates and raskolnikov's ISD...total cost including BL orders for all three were 1350...and that's including the probably 10,000 extra parts that I have now which I'm putting towards the executor, sandcrawler, and eventually raskolnikov's mon cal cruiser. B&M is a life saver and I'm friends with everyone there. It was also inevitable since I've spent probably at least 60 hours there over the last year. My gf hates me lmao

    So just got done reading this entire forum haha. I'm piecing this together at a local bricks and minifigs and am curious. 1. Can I replace the 36 1x16 LBG technic bricks with black? I just exhausted my inventory on Raskolnikov's Aggressor haha 2. Is there a different way the electronics can be done? Part#8878 is $100 a pop and theres 0 chance of finding these in the wild. Curious if theres a cheaper option. EDIT: oops, just found part#88000. Forgive me..havent had power functions in any lego model I've owned since my first train set back in 99! Thanks!

    I might need to finish this after I finish raskolnikov's ISD. Gorgeous model and it looks like I've come at the right time now that those barrels are much cheaper!

    Yeah, so I don't know how to get my image on here from Imgur, but I finally finished! Was able to gather all of the parts for about $550 from local Bricks and Mining locations. I spent way more than I needed though because I got impatient and spent about $300 of that on Bricklink....Lesson learned haha. Insanely awesome and creative build @mortesv and thank you for the instructions @Cjd223!!! Now I'm off to build some GR-75 transports ;) https://imgur.com/Hk6HSIx

    Is this how it should be? is it too high/low? Since I'm still early on in the building process I'm worried about these things down the road. If I'm correct then hopefully this will give a guide to other people utilizing this stand! Also, will the brushed get in the way of any other building process? Plus will those hinges being in 100% the wrong locations hinder anything? Thanks!

    Will the moved hinges affect anything later on @Midlife-crisis? It seems as though these 1x9 lifters on the back stand are useless now. I need to get 2 more 1x11 liftarms to make this more secure, right? Thank you as well @rockpig

    Trying to figure out how this stand even attaches! I read the messages a page back, but honestly I'm very visual and cant figure out how the stand attached to the frame! Any insight would be great.

    So I'm finishing up getting the remaining parts for the build. I'm going to look through the plans but I'm curious, can you only see the 1x16 technic bricks on the neck and that's it? I'm trying to reduce cost and found many of those in white, blue, and black at a local shop. Also curious about the 2x16 plates in LBG. Do you see a lot from the outside or can they be tan, white, and black? Thanks!

    Sorry to bother again. I think I skimmed over it but I tried to look for an answer for 41531. Did you guys just use the dark grey color instead of figuring out the DBG issue? Thanks! Currently at 3,300 pieces!
