He did briefly in the old 2003 CW microseries, although the only memorable thing about it was its destruction and subsequent scene of Windu commandeering a Vulture droid. You can see it departing at the 1:00min mark and later at 3:27 -

LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!
Per_SW replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I0ve had a similar experience realising the first Chewie or Princess Leia I ever owned were both from 2018 sets, after coming out of my dark age in 2016, and I was buying LSW as a child at the beginning in the 1999-2004 span. Also this, if that wonderful dinosaur in set 31058 can still be on shelves after 9 years I don't see why a set like the 40€ TIE Fighter, 50€ X-wing, or a Landspeeder like the one in 8092 can't have a 5 year lifespan. Back on topic, I have to say I'm still somewhat excited by most of the coming system lineup, clone saturation notwithstanding, but I think this is the first year since 2017 that I haven't yet bought a new set, waiting instead for the eventual discounts to come. Also, if the V-19 really includes Ventress and armoured Obi-Wan as rumoured it could be a day 1 purchase for me. -

Regarding the dearth of main characters from the OT available at the moment I checked the Italian S@H to see their availability in non-UCS sets: Luke: quite easily available in the X-Wing mech. Don't want the pilot suit? Well, then there is an 80 eur Desert Skiff for you! Han: remember that skiff? Yep, that's it for Han right now. Leia: who? Oh, you mean the controversial one in the UCS Sail Barge? Nope, we're excluding UCS, so no Leia right now. Chewie: also on the skiff, but if you're lucky enough you can get him AND a terrifying statue of him on clearance, if still available. R2: Hope you like buildable droids, because the only non-UCS way of getting an R2-D2 minifig at the moment is the 25th anniversary display piece. C-3P0: You're in luck! Here's ANOTHER 150 eur buildable statue for you! Lando: *crickets* The most available main OT character at the moment -ironically enough- is Vader either from the TIE Bomber or the Tantive IV Boarding, and that's something I never thought I'd see -
@tcbwdJust a reminder, don't forget to link this thread (and your other entries for the contest) to the ENTRY TOPIC here That said there seems to be some issue with the picture, as I seem to be unable to see a larger version of it, but from what I can make out it looks like an interesting build

[ENTRY TOPIC] Eurobricks Alt-Build Contest 2025
Per_SW replied to Clone OPatra's topic in Special LEGO Themes
60378 Arctic Explorer Truck and Mobile Lab reimagined as Star Wars artillery for the medium category -
In my other entry for the AL-Build Contest I teased something "Very orange and very out of place threadin' through the snow", and here it is: The funny thing is I bought set 60378 finding it at a discount just around when the contest was announced, and while playing Empire at War I realised I had both many orange pieces and threads still sealed in a box. Thus was born the MPTL-S, or "Mobile Proton Torpedo Launcher - Scout", which it's meant to be the smaller cousin of the rebel artillery platform MPTL-2a from the videogame Star Wars: Empire at War . The build recreates most of the features found in the larger vehicle, from the "descending" cockpit to of course the opening "shell" on the back to deploy the artillery: I seats a pilot in the cockpit and a somewhat exposed gunner at the controls in the back shell. The guns can be raised up for deployment but unfortunately cannot turn and the top-most cannons have to be removed in order to close the shell, but there is plenty of storage space under it when closed. Seating a pilot in a 4x6 cockpit and making them somewhat easily removable has been maybe the biggest issue of all the build, more than the mechanism to lower the whole cockpit or building the SNOT side doors/shells (thank goodness for those horizontal hinge bricks), but I'm more than happy with the final result. Also, fun fact, I believe this is the first time I build something that has almost no visible studs when "closed". That said the model is surprisingly sturdy, I can pick it up from the shell when closed without fear of the doors coming off or press down on it in order to get the single tire+threads rolling, and the hinges are secured tightly to the rest of the build to make the repeated opening and closing of the shell go smoothly. The flimsiest part of the build is the back cover, connected only with a couple of brackets, but unfortunately at that point a compromise had to be made and it still stays on quite firmly - barring a direct hit from the "inside" when the model is deployed. Hope you have enjoyed this almost last-minute entry, and good luck everyone. :)

[ENTRY TOPIC] Eurobricks Alt-Build Contest 2025

My entry for small category -
I spy Murphy's black-helmeted dome as I stroll into the garage while putting my bucket on. "Alright, corporal?". "Awright Sec- cowpal" he says, correcting himself at the last moment and addressing me by grade. He's fiddlin' with B00N, the maintenance droid Sarge's cobbled together from what spare parts we had on this godsfrosaken outpost, named and built after some sort of crazy race he saw when just a little kid, when there was still a republic governin' this galaxy. Weird when you think about it, when I was born there was no Empire, but now here I am, a proud Stormtrooper corporal defending a _vital_ outpost on Rhen Var. I bite down a sigh, hidden by the bucket, and ask my Navy counterpart: "You seen Sarge?" "Took the Swoop out, tae recon, mind?" Of course, as Sergeant he's the only one entitled to the only cold-gear armour left at the outpost and to take the Swoop-bike on reconnaissance missions. I move to the listening-post display, checking if the distress-rescue signal is still going from the main antenna and calibrating to the Swoop frequency. "Come in sergeant Yule - Keezbo, you there?" I ask. Only static for moments, before I hear the Sergeant voice. ** The Swoop banks perfectly on a fresh snow mound, as I shift it into gear to cross the next open plain and get to the edge of the cliffs a couple of clicks from our position. After the rebel offensive destroyed the main base on Rhen Var I've lost hope someone will actually come and rescue us, but the directive were clear: keep the signal on, broadcast the rescue request, and keep scanning for anomalies in the meantime. And that's what we've been doing, me , Murphy from the navy -who the Force only knows how he ended up here- and McLaughlin, who had a brilliant career ahead of himself in the Stormtrooper Corps but never made ahead of corporal because of too many lost drunken brawls and ended up in my care because of that. The real dream team, the emperor himself would be proud. I decelerate as I get to the edge of the cliff and bring up the binocs: it should be the same old snow-swirl, but something's different today. I hear the radio croak: "Come in sergeant Yule - Keezbo, you there?". "Prize, Keez here. You on the post?". "Aye sir" McLaughlin -2nd Prize- answers. "Stay there and gimme a moment, -I have an anomaly here" I focus the binocs through the swirling blizzard and spy something very orange and very out of place threadin' through the snow. "Prize, still there?" I ask urgently. "Aye Sarge". "Shut it down! Shut it ALL down. We got company" I say, turning the Swoop back base-wards and hoping what I saw was only a trick of the eye. But I know it's not. They found us. DUN DUN DUUUN! When I saw the prompt for the contest I realised I already had something qualifying for the small category with the Swoop bike I built for the lone snowtrooper from the parts of the advent calendar, and here it is, with some of the other characters of the short story you just read. Then I decided that I could add something more than just a Swoop bike with the pieces from the advent calendar, so were born the listening post, tools rack and B00N the pit droid, unfortunately only in digital form because I was not able to recollect the necessary pieces in time for the deadline. This is an alt build for the 2016 advent calendar. As you have seen the main focus is the swoop bike, with augmented thrusters and antenna to better communicate with the listening-post. The afore-mentioned listening-post comprises a stud-shooter for short-range defence and multiple rectennae to both broadcast and receive signals, along with a clip for the chosen operator's weapon. And then with the remaining useful pieces we have a simple tool rack and refuelling station and pit droid, named B00N after the Boonta Eve won by Anakin and witnessed by sergeant Yule when he was young. The pit droid willingly reminds of the 1999 ones and itis supposed to have been cobbled together by the sergeant with the parts he found on site and was a late addiction to the model. Also to note is the color change on one of the studs on the GNK legs, in order to use the LBG stud with hole on the Swoop. Hope you enjoy this ALT and stay tuned to see if I can manage to finish the very orange and very out of place thing in time :D (And yes, for those wondering I'm rereading Welsh at the moment and borrowed some names from his stories).

I wonder if it's gonna be "oversized AT-RT + Dwarf Spider Droid" or "accurate size AT-RT + Regular Spider Droid". Hoping for the latter, dreading the former. -
What are some Star Wars sets that TLG could never produce?
Per_SW replied to Pdaitabird's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I remember a time when a 46cm tall buildable Chewbacca with "UCS Plaque" for 200€/$ would've fit right in this thread ='D Anyway, rereading a couple of the past comments it's fun to notice how many of our suggestions (serious or otherwise) were actually made: - Phase 2 Cody - Mon Calamari Star Cruiser (albeit midi-scale) - Scene from order 66 (Kelleran Beq's escape) - "Huttslayer" Leia - Nebulon B Frigate (Again, only in midi-scale and exclusive to boot) - UCS AT-AT I guess in some ways they still manage to surprise us -
Because "Nexu Neutering" brought the wrong image to the mind :D Anyway lately I was rewatching Andor and would love a set based on the Rix Road Riot (to keep with alliteration)

Ugh, this sounds exactly like something that COULD happen unfortunately, and my concern is not because of the source material for once

Possible Misprint? Yoda Minifigure with Closed Eyes
Per_SW replied to Mrxxlutz's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Judging by the shape an colour of the head it looks like an unprinted TCW Yoda head, definitely a production error -
So, I bought the new mando/imperial BP today and the first thought was to replace the head on the Nite Owl to make a Koska Reeves stand-in. At the moment I'm undecided on the head, so what's your opinion for the best between option nr 1 and option nr 2? Also, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for a hairpiece they would be welcome :)

I love how it's actually a stealth "Order 66" wave :D

Dr. Pershing is that you? I really do hope this is a hint to an upcoming set/figure and not a farewell -
Regarding Kyle's head i've seen most customs use young Jor-El face (also expensive), or I'd propose my solution, although I'm always on the lookout for a better torso than the old 90s adventurers I'm using at the moment
-
Would love such a wave, the only things missing for me are ways to get Kyle Katarn and Cade Skywalker
-
Whoa, those are awesome! And also thanks for reminding me of that comic, it's been a long time since I last checked it and while it's a pity they've stopped updating for the moment I still have a lot of unread strips to discover :)

I was wondering where those wall panels are looking at the final model, I'm guessing they're part of the internal structure if they can be substituted. Anyway it's always nice realizing you already own a good percentage of the pieces needed to part out a model, good luck with the remaining orders. Regarding my last purchase, I wanted to take advantage of double VIP points to get a couple of S@H exclusive sets and being way below the free shipping price tag I started adding pieces to make a couple of the nice STAPs from the new BP. Then I remembered about this Crab Droid and added the pieces to make three of them (with a couple of tweaks/substitutions). Satisfied with a total finally over the free shipping cost I then went and added the Mando Spider Tank to the order -also a Lego store exclusive in Italy, which would have spared me the hours on B&P- because why not? Oh well, I'm happily waiting for the mail while the wallet is a bit less happy.

I went to my local store last Saturday, hoping to find some new releases but the shelves were still empty after the Christmas rush. So I resigned myself and went nextdoor to grocery shop, and in their small toy aisle I found a lonely pirate snub-fighter 30% off which immediately went to my cart :D

Better late than never, and I myself am even more late to comment on this wonderful wave. Let me start by thanking you for the mention and compliments, I also quite like your rendition of the Predator and both this and the last Interceptor (which I built right after finishing on my project, so too late to overhaul the ball part) are giving me quite a few ideas on how to tweak and better my build, I'll have to get started on a Mk II =D And to answer your question it is simply a lesser seen TIE variant in the MOC community from the Legends comic Legacy, and technically not even a TIE-series, as it has four engines instead of two. QIE, maybe? :D Anyway it comes from the Ostrander-Duursema team and I've always liked the idea of a "TIE" without pylons connecting the solar panels directly to the ball cockpit as the evolution of the craft went on. Keeping with Legends I also really enjoy your Zahn-style Z95, and as many I'd love for a Legends-tribute set such as this to exists, NGL, they'll have me at "Kyle Katarn minifig". Following up, that Acclamator is really something to be proud of, I love how it fulfils its role of a troop carrier and the speederbike play feature, and also how it manages to have the interior details such as the bridge while looking sturdy and imposing, and it pairs well with the rest of the prequel-era lineup you have. Some more scattered comments: - Both N1s are gorgeous, the Mando housewarming party is a nice fun idea and the scale of that Vulture looks perfect to me, maybe not true minifig-scale but just the right size for such a playset - I agree with the BARC-fatigue sentiment and would love a Crab Droid against the 212th, but your BARC designs have always been strong - Nice to see some love for Tales of the Jedi with the duel and it really works in its simplicity - Both dioramas are something that should really be official sets by now, and I'm afraid the only reason we'll never see the "No disintegrations" one on shelves is because of LEGO reticence of putting that many expensive/desirable minifigs in the same non UCS/D2C set All in all I agree that were this to be an official wave my wallet would not be happy, keep up the good work =) p.s. I realised I never actually commented on the last community wishlist before this one and I'll sneak some congratulations for your rendition of the V-19 from that wave also
