  1. Battle of the 7 Potters, Wedding set (as you mentioned), Battle of Hogwarts battle pack (like the Star Wars ones with small side builds and 4-5 characters), whilst I would love to get Shell Cottage (and the Lovegood house, Malfoy Manor and Potter house in Godric’s Hollow) there are plenty of other sets for Bill to come in
  2. I don’t care how they come as long as we finally get that Lego Ralph Ineson (Amycus Carrow) minifigure ?
  3. Whilst the unreliable source never stated we were getting that figure, the conversation started because of them, so I’m still classing it as information from an unreliable source, and I don’t think we can base things for Series 2 on what happened in series 1, because for all we know the unreliable source may have said that because of series 1, either way, I’m still ignoring any conversation that has stemmed from anything they said until I see all the figures officially
  4. I’m not putting any hope into getting Tonks in the CMF because it came from an untrustworthy source, but I too would love that, even if she’s not in the CMF I can see both OotP Sirius and Tonks coming later down the line, Bill will no doubtedly come in either a 7 Potters set or a Weasley wedding set, and I reckon Ron’s disguise (don’t forget these are based on the films in which it’s just Ron with longer hair and a beard) will be a CMF figure because unless he comes in the D2C with Gringotts there isn’t really a set for him to come in
  5. Whilst I’m sure they will be, the versions I want won’t be, I much prefer the twins when they’re at Hogwarts as that is when they’re at their best, they could be based on 1, 2, 3 or 5 and I would be happy, I just want them in their uniform, obviously if we get them in DA I could just buy a duplicate head of each (we best get different face prints for them both instead of exactly the same like last time) and put them on Gryffindor uniforms Just watching Jeremy Herbert’s Barracuda Bay review and it comes with some metallic gold bars (the actual gold bar pieces in metallic) I wonder if the D2C does include Gringotts (no doubt it will) if it’ll include some of those as well as some other metallic gold elements as coins (I don’t like the old Lego coins because they don’t look like Lego and can’t fit in Lego hands)
  6. Can’t believe I didn’t think of Lockhart or C/G and definitely the Malfoys, I guess I’m just too annoyed at the lack of Weasley twins ??
  7. Lmao, you knew exactly what to do to save disappointment ??, shame, but meh, wouldn’t buy them sets anyway ?, based on the quality of current Lego figures what is a character that you either want to see remade that hasn’t been done in the 2018-2020 theme, or an entirely new character that everyone wants to see as a figure for the first time? mine has to be Kreacher for entirely new character because I’d love to see how they do his face, or James/Lily Potter as they’ve never been done before and are quite literally the reason the main character exists ? for a character that I want remade, I really really want to see the Weasley twins (which I think I’ve said like 500 times now ??)
  8. Excuse me, “Mario figure”? I know this isn’t the Mario thread so if anyone who knows could kindly dm me either a link or an image (or just say in here that it isn’t what I think to save any disappointments ??)
  9. Whilst it’s possible, I’m still skeptical, BUT, I think it’s best to be skeptical about everything until we see something solid so we don’t end up disappointed, I personally would prefer it to be a larger version of the GWP because at least then it’s all connected and can be displayed easier, I would love to get the external cobbles because as @Lego-Freak “the cobblestone pavement is an integral part of DA” which it is, it makes Diagon Alley what it is, can’t wait to see it and all this talk of minifigures is hyping me up for this set and the CMF (hopefully we see stuff soon enough)
  10. I don’t see any reason to think that, Hogwarts castle isn’t a smaller version of the combined Hogwarts sets
  11. Yep, the sets came out later in the UK (I was in London August 1st), so I must’ve ordered it off eBay and then had them delivered to my work to pick up shortly after, I remember now, mucho gracias
  12. I’m 100% the same, I’m very minifigure oriented when it comes to sets, like I love getting lots of minifigures, but I’d rather get 3 exclusive figures in a set over 5 repeats (obviously I mean in general, not for the D2C)
  13. Potentially stupid question, but year 1, did the CMF release with the main wave of sets? I’m sure I remember buying the box to be delivered to my work when I was in London on release day, but I’m not sure if that was me pre-ordering the box or actually buying it, not sure if I’m mistaken or not ? What people seem to forget about modulars (and I have been guilty of it) is that most of the time the sets are multiple “buildings” in one, so like the ground floor is the main building or what is advertised outside, the second floor is something else and the third floor something else again, OR the sets are something that can be spread across multiple floors, the only 2 in DA that really fit that bill are Gringotts and WWW, Ollivander’s is only seen from the first floor unless the second floor would be used for wand storage, but why? And even Gringotts only has multiple floors because of the underground which probably wouldn’t be shown in that set, so it’d be nigh impossible for them to have them be modular scale, although as I would prefer to get multiple £200 sets of modular buildings as opposed to one £350 set of a few non-modular buildings, I doubt we’ll get modular buildings in this set, as long as they’re more intricate than the 2010 wave DA I’ll be happy with spending £350
  14. I’m still not sure whether I like the fact it’s not a moulded head BUT at least we can get more unique faces for the Goblins because of it
  15. Exactly, I stated which piece I meant so as not to confuse because I know there are 2 pieces that could be called the widow’s peak (although the real one actually has a very small peak ?) but yeah, in regards to Percy, it depends which version they go for, in OotP his hair very slicked back but still curly so could actually do with a new piece, same goes for his earlier look because there aren’t really any good short curly hairpieces Did you mean the hairpiece, the head is a normal minifigure head ??
  16. It’s still a widow’s peak (I should know, I have one irl) a widow’s peak is the v-shape at the front of the hairline, which the slicked back piece has
  17. If we get the Twins they’ll no doubt use the same hairpiece they used in 2010, the same hairpiece Mr Weasley and OotP/HBP Harry use and Percy I could see using either the General Hux hair or the Widow’s peak (Grindelwald) hair in dark orange
  18. Exactly, would be fantastic but of limited use which would suck because I’m not sure whether they’d end up doing something with limited use ?
  19. I think that depends on what are on the internals of the sets, like it depends how they make certain “small” parts of the buildings such as the love potions in WWW etc, obviously books already exist and wand boxes can just be 1x2 tiles, but they could also be new moulds to actually fit wands inside (would be decent so I could store my abundance of extra wands ??)
  20. I’m 100% down with everything except 1 thing, I’d rather not get 3 iteration of the trio ??, purely on a selfish note that I have so many of those 3 already that I don’t want more ??
  21. Speaking of cloud city, that set is £300, £50 cheaper than we expect DA to be and comes with 21 minifigures including 2 Droids (R2D2 and IG88), 3 iterations of Han (including the carbonite Han as that is included on Brickset) and 2 iterations of Leia As someone who has never been interested in Lego Star Wars (this is the first time looking at the CC set) I know nothing of comparisons between themes, do you guys think that is something to go by in terms of how many figures to expect in DA? I mean 21 HP figures would be amazing but I don’t want to get my hopes up ?? this also makes me think that multiple iterations of characters are possibly for example; CoS Harry, Ron and Hermione with Lockhart HBP Harry, Ron and Hermione with Fred and George ?
  22. Nah, the Luke hairpiece is just pure wrong for Black, the Moody hairpiece would’ve been so much better, and in the film (which the sets are based off) Sirius looks exactly the same in his mugshot as he does at Hogwarts so I think it was a bad choice on Lego’s part, if that piece ever comes in the right colour I’ll immediately swap it out
  23. *cough* Sirius Black in Platform 9 3/4 vs Expecto Patronum set *cough*
  24. So do I tbh, I want all the Weasleys, I don’t think we’ll ever get Charlie, but I could definitely see them doing a Wedding set that could add onto the Burrow just like the Hogwarts castle sets attach to each other, and it’d be stupid if he didn’t appear in plain clothes in either a Battle of Hogwarts set or a Battle of the Seven Potters set, Percy could also be in a BoH set, or he could just be in a random part of the castle, or they could do with him what they are doing with Tom Riddle and release him in a book or a polybag, would be nice to get an exclusive as opposed to getting the same figures 72 times over ??
  25. It will be the same for me when I get it, I have a custom Tonks but she’s not great and I can’t wait to have the official one, and I never got previous iterations of Mr/Mrs Weasley, Ginny, Bella or Fenrir, although before the Burrow was announced I was tempted to buy the 3 Weasleys on BL, glad I didn’t seen as it’s would’ve been like £45 for all 3 ??
