Unlike most people I’m not interested in the whole “mystery figure” side of CMFs, so I’ll just be buying the full set off eBay like I did with series 1 ☺️

S’all good, haha, I know, it sucks so much, like there is so much that could be developed into a set, the final battle with Grindelwald/Graves, the American Ministry, the Dragon fight from CoG or a circus set with human Nagini to name a few, I would love to get more FB sets but I doubt it’ll happen unless the next film does well

Oh no, sorry, I worded that badly, I wasn’t saying that they should use his parts, he was just the only monkey type minifigure that I would say is roughly the same size as a demiguise that I could think of ?, I definitely think they’d do a new mould for his head

Typical that it’s the film I didn’t think of lmao, yeah, that’s the guy ?? Thinking of the demiguise they could even do something similar to the Patronus for his invisible form, have him be clear plastic but with little silver speckles in because you can slightly see him when invisible in the film

That sounds literally perfect, it would basically be the 2018 Aragog set but with the Basilisk instead, probably be a bit more expensive due to the snake needing more pieces than Aragog, but even still, I’d buy it the sword I would have agreed with previously, but I have seen a new sword it’s long and has a flat round part at the end that could easily be printed to be the jewel of Gryffindor, just realised it’s from the 2020 CMF knight so I doubt it’d happen ?

Oh yeah, a new long mould for the Ironbelly is a must, it would be a disservice to the dragon if they don’t give it a new moulded head (if they do eventually do it) I definitely think the Basilisk should be brick built, kinda like the Occamy but chunkier and obviously without the wings and a new head mould, I think the inclusion of Riddle in the new book dashed any hope of a CoS set anytime soon though, unless they throw a huge curveball and only do Harry and the Basilisk and a small build for the head of Slytherin Whilst Kreacher is 100% a magical creature, I didn’t include him because he would be a minifigure just like Dobby, although I guess a Demiguise could be a minifigure like the 4 armed alien from one of the Star Wars films (I think it was R1 but cannot remember if it is or not)

100% agree with these 2, especially Fawkes however this, I actually prefer the brickbuilt creatures for the big ones (I actually like the Horntail minus the head, definitely should’ve been a new mould instead a bird head)

If we don’t get a new Fang mould and a new Padfoot (yes I am probably alone when I feel he needs a new mould too) then I will riot, I need all the new animals!! Unicorn (could easily just be a horse with a hole in its head, but I’d rather something entirely new)

Mostly correct, there was a dog (originally) in the Hagrid’s Hut set labelled Fang, but it wasn’t a prototype, it was the normal dog piece (used for German Shepherds etc), obviously if we get Fang he’ll be a new piece, but at the time they hadn’t made one I’m sure we’ll see Fang before the theme ends, especially with how useful a new dog piece would be for Lego City ☺️

That too ??, I read a bit of the book (script/screenplay/whatever you wanna call it) and it was awful, so glad I didn’t pay to see it on Stage when I was in London ??

Not totally unrelated at all, links in to what I was saying about nowadays HP would work as a TV show ? also, I’ve watched the videos and I actually don’t disagree with all of them, but most of them I just couldn’t see being anyone else (like Snape is just Alan Rickman to me, same reason I hope that god-awful Cursed Child trash is never made into a film because no one else can be Snape in a HP film)

I’m 100% the same, I would’ve loved the LotR films to be a TV series with the same cast could’ve then seen the Scouring of the Shire Agreed, the only book series I can think of back then that was a good TV series was Sharpe, and that had a very select audience, I think nowadays HP would kill it as a TV show, but back then definitely not, and they wouldn’t have been able to afford all the brilliant actors in the films imo, like I doubt very much Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman, Michael Gambon or Robbie Coltrane would have wanted to sign up to a show like that not knowing if it would be successful, unlike Thrones where most of the cast weren’t huge actors, those are all big actors who have been in films alongside their roles in HP

Both Sirius and Peter are referred to as “Padfoot” and “Wormtail” in the film, so if you can’t figure out that “Prongs” is James “Stag Patronus” Potter and “Moony” is Remus “the Werewolf” Lupin then that’s more on you than the films ?, I don’t think that needed explaining i do however think the films would’ve been better (with the same cast) as a TV series (Thrones-style) as opposed to films because then they could’ve fitted everything important in (SPEW/house elves, Dobby in GoF, Crouch jr, Riddle’s past etc)

Sorry to go off the topic of HP and Lego, but SIX WEEKS?! Is it normal for parcels in America to take that long? After like 1 week I’m worried where my item is ??

I don’t normally join in conversations like this because they’re stupid and pointless, but the fact that 1 minifigure is a “play set” style figure of Harry and the other is Florean Fortesque proves that it won’t be micro-scale, neither of them are display figures, all 4 of the founders are display figures Boom, this!! If they did 4 minifigures from DA that would be relevant for display, I would say; Fred Weasley in WWW Suit George Weasley in WWW suit More detailed version of 2018 Ollivander Griphook (based on PS, the CMF version is DH pt 2 I reckon)

The NES set doesn’t have any figures to leak, or anything all that much to leak tbh, I know obviously we didn’t know about it, but I don’t really the think the 2 can be compared tbh

Not really because she’s only seen in 2 films and the sets are based on the films, so I would definitely see the Express as being mainly PoA but taking an aspect from PS too

Speaking of a mash up of films in 1 set, they could easily do a Hogwarts Express based on DH pt 1 with Neville, Ginny, Seamus and random Death Eater and then based on one of the earlier films to included a version of Harry, whether it’s PS, CoS or HBP and also, if you think of it, the 2018 HE was a mash up of 2 films, Philosopher’s Stone (trolley witch) and Prisoner of Azkaban (Lupin/Dementor/Sirius wanted poster)

If that’s the case, then yeah, I’ll believe August until someone says otherwise because I know that Brickshop are reliable, if I’m disappointed at least it’s only about a release date and not about what the product is ?

I’m sure someone (can’t remember who) keeps saying that it’s August in normal stores and September in Lego stores, no idea if that’s true, but if it is then around now would be right, if not then this time next month probably ??‍♂️☺️

I remember watching a review and being like “is that it?” when it was turned around, I think there are plenty of play features they could do, they could have a revolving wall for Dobby rescuing Luna and Ollivander, a dropping chandelier, a stud shooter knife, oh wait... ??

Like the Jurassic World mansion? I’m not sure how big that is, but the inside was a letdown, so if they can do it without the internals being terrible then sure, if not then noooo thanks ??

With the hair too because I personally hate hats with no hair (damn you McGonagall), but I personally would rather another character get that spot and Percy be in his OotP attire as opposed to his Hogwarts uniform
