The Russo brothers have referred to him as Nomad a few times in interviews and I think his chair (whatever those fabric chairs are called with the names on the back) said Chris/Nomad on the back of it, but I think it’s the comic fans who have truly made him into Nomad, that’s why I refuse to refer to him as Captain America, because he’s definitely not Captain America in IW, but this has gotten very off topic lmao, probably back to the actual topic, but thank you both for a very civilised off topic discussion ??

S’all good, tbh, in the Lego set (and on BL) he is listed as Captain America, I think there’s only 1 toy by Hasbro that refers to him as Nomad and that got taken off shelves pretty much immediately because spoilers ??

Yeah, what @Guyon2002 said!! I refuse to call the IW Steve Rogers “Captain America” because it’s a nod to Nomad and runs about as long ?, 4 issues in the comics, 1 film in the MCU ?

Technically right, Nomad is Captain America after he denounces the Avengers/America, hence why he’s no longer Captain America, the torn off star and avengers symbol (shoulder) symbolises his transition to Nomad, annoying that he never went by that name in the film, but he very rarely went by “Captain America” tbh

Never put yourself down, you have worked with pieces that you had lying around, I had to order my pieces, what you have built is amazing and respect to you for doing so, also I think they look fantastic, except for 1 thing, the Star Wars printing ?, although, Dumbledore would definitely be part of the rebel alliance if he was in Star Wars ?☺️

Youngledore, I love it ??, my custom is; https://postimg.cc/zbgDZrpG Yeah, I absolutely loved the sets, my only regret is not getting every Hobbit set, the armoured figures from the Battle of the Five Armies are some amazing figures, and Dain Ironfoot and Beorn are amazing, but I’m also glad I didn’t because I would have been even more annoyed that I had to dismantle them all, I would love for them to make new, more accurate sets based on the Middle-Earth saga, especially if we got figures as accurate and detailed as the WW figures, also imagine a ME CMF series ??

He did indeed, I loved all the Hobbit sets but ran out of space to display them so broke them all down and used the Minifigures for customs, I probably would’ve kept them displayed if I continued to buy them, but I stopped after the first wave ? It is indeed, he is the one, yeah, his legs are dark blue/black I believe, but they may be dark brown ??

The only piece that I already had was the Bofur head as I had the set he came in (I had all the wave 1 sets so had all Dwarves except Gloin and Oin as they came in wave 2 in the Barrel escape set ?) so ended up ordering the rest off BrickLink, I did confuse myself when looking at my Sirius because I thought I had used a torso I already had but I hadn’t, the only Frodo I had was from the Gandalf’s arrival set (small, horse carriage, came with Gandalf and Frodo only) Yeah, I didn’t have any of those parts, managed to get Nomad (full figure) through bricks and pieces before they cracked down on sending out missing parts for sets without proof, the widow’s peak hair I already owned for some reason, might have been an old custom ??‍♂️?, and the GCPD outfit I definitely didn’t have so had to order that separately, but it was the only figure that seemed to have a good enough peacoat (the style of coat that DumbleLaw wears), I’m hoping an official one comes out because 1) I would love to get an official DumbleLaw and 2) I need a peacoat for my sigfig ?

I’m on Insta, but it’s a private Insta, not Lego-based, my Sirius is the Dastan (Prince of Persia) hairpiece, Bofur (the Hobbit) head, Frodo Baggins torso (brown jacket, red vest) and black legs and my YAD is the Peter Venkman (Ghostbusters) hair, Nomad (Avengers Infinity War) head and the GCPD officer (Lego Batman Movie) from the Blister pack’s torso/legs ☺️

Yeah, I made a custom YAD that I absolutely love and it makes me so hyped for an official figure because if I can make one that I love then I’m sure that Lego’s will blow me away, that and my custom OotP Sirius are my 2 favourite customs

Yeah, that wouldn’t surprise me, I mean it would be a very dark set, I mean the “prison guards” suck the souls out of those who are imprisoned, one prisoner made himself so emaciated he could slip through the bars and another one’s dying mother took his place using Polyjuice Potion and died in there ?

Honestly an Orthanc style Azkaban would be like an absolute dream set for me, but I personally don’t see it happening ? We already have the Erised Potters (sticker from Great Hall), but I would absolutely love to get a Godric’s Hollow Potter Cottage set, but as you said, it would be very morbid unless it doesn’t come with Voldemort but then it would just be a house (I guess the Burrow and 4 Privet Drive are “just houses”) ??

I hadn’t even thought about that until now, it’s true, because I doubt we’ll ever get an Azkaban set, unless it’s a small Sirius breakout set, I doubt it’d be a full scale set, unless it’s like the Tower of Orthanc (which personally I would love), she’s a pretty useless character except for display, but then so are James and Lily (who are 2 of my absolute faves of this series)

I think they’d be less likely to be done if they’d kept the plot line from the books, I mean that is one dark plot line ? I definitely think Lego could pull it off, like you said, it’s silver coloured blood, if it’s silver then kids more than likely wouldn’t think of it as blood, but they could also just not include a print for the blood, he would look iconic enough with printed chains and a new hair piece

I don’t think that’s the case at all, Lego seems to be going all out with the Harry Potter sets, if it runs for another couple of years and we get 1 or 2 more CMFs I could easily see us getting all the house ghosts, Helena is a vital part of DH pt 2 so she’ll definitely get a figure, the Baron and Friar are as important as Nick to their houses so they’re just as likely as NHN ever was I don’t agree that they’re too dark to do, I do however think they’re unlikely due to the fact they would be a wasted space in a CMF and there isn’t really a set I could think of that would include them

You missed Frank and Alice Longbottom who wouldn't be suitable for sets, like James and Lily, they would be perfect for another CMF although now that I think about it, James and Lily could definitely have come in a Godric’s Hollow Potter House set

???? This, butterbeer irl is just a sickly sweet drink (that is god awful imo) but in the books/films it’s definitely alcoholic, but I doubt if Lego really pays that much attention, if they do then I guess The Leaky Cauldron isn’t a ridiculous thought

Butterbeer is alcoholic, it is low, but still alcoholic, Hermione gets drunk on it in the HBP movie and Winky gets drunk on it in one of the books ☺️

How is that baby mould better for baby Harry? The most iconic version of baby Harry is from Philosopher’s Stone in which he is wrapped up in a blanket, just like in the CMF, either way you wouldn’t be happy because if he came as the mould you’re suggesting he would be from the flashback scenes from Lily’s Murder in which he didn’t have a scar, it’s not hard to pretend that the scar is underneath the blanket over his head seen as the face part of the mould is tiny there is t enough space ??‍♂️

A MBOM set like the fairy tales set/newt’s suitcase combined would be cool imo, opens up like Newt’s suitcase but has an interior like the fairy tales book, could be a way to do a “Hagrid’s first class set” I second this, talking about “rumours” without any true backing to them is pointless (and I will admit that I was one of those people last year, the difference is we didn’t have so many fakes last year that I can recall)

Is it more expensive for you guys to buy them as a set as opposed to full boxes? I’ve never looked at getting a full box because I thought it’d be stupidly expensive, but I’m also not sure if it’s different between those in the US, those in mainland Europe and us in the UK
