  1. Thanks! I gambled on two boxes from her CMF series, lost (somehow got two she hulks...) and figured I might as well make some parts useful. I think her arms went on a clone that's now from some made-up legion. See, and this is the thing- I normally love synergy between sets. But this is a $40 battle pack. Not good. Yeah, and what annoys me is I guarantee you at least part of the reason for the color change was to put a clone in it, but they used brown MTTs during the clone wars. It's been shown in a game lego's made multiple sets for, one as recently as 2023! Lego has somehow created a scenario where in a year where almost every set is clone based, I wish one of the few that didn't ALSO contained clones. Glad to have you back. 2026 better be the Age of the Empire. (I actually do think it's possible we get a TMAG based AT-AT) Seriously, IT CAN BE DONE AT NORMAL SCALE. Every moc builder in the world's done it, and it can be done with more than enough stability. Highly recommend the bugle. Best superhero set of all time. Plo and the Death Troopers are assumably also new molds. It's been long enough that the old ones have been destroyed. So 3 minimum, unless we're REALLY cheaping out (watch Bacara use the Invincible Iron Man mold) I suppose it's possible, but I haven't seen many SW sets on sale. The clone battle packs usually get the standard 20% at my local retailers, and I'd see the odd Yavin or AT-TE on sale, but most SW sets still never reach discounts at retailers, at least in the areas I shop. The only two sets I've really seen hit massive discounts are the High Republic 4+ sets (one of which had the honor of being the first lego set I'd ever seen at the bargin bin/discount store near me), but that's two sets out of, what, 70 for those two years? It's 2.5 years apart, so I'm not entirely sure it was designed specifically for Bly, but yeah, it'll be his P2 version. I think people were just hoping, but we know figure counts for these large sets tend to whittle down over time. It did for Yavin, it did for the Star Destroyer. If the character fits their hair under the cap in the source material I don't mind it, but Dedra's hair is clearly visible under her cap. (Also, when I googled to confirm, one of the first pictures was a screencap of her and Syril with a heart around them and a superimposed Hallmark Channel watermark, which isn't really relevant but I found very funny.) It might be a smidge soon for Rex, but he certainly would benefit from the new trooper "face" design.
  2. I don't think lego remembers that the clone troopers used a different type of armor in the early phases of the war. It's pretty random who does and doesn't have them, but female characters with head-tails tend to be a safe bet. (Pro tip, you can fix this on Hera by giving her the head from the She-Hulk CMF figure)
  3. I can't see it being a two-in-one - even if we treat Bo's blue and Jango's blue as the same, Jango's helmet is mostly silver, and Bo's is mostly blue and white. IIRC the first jango leaks were just that he would be showing up in some capacity, so it's entirely possible it's just a Bo Katan helmet Hahaha Yup. At this point, I'm waiting on the January 2026 leaks. It's been very clear that if you're not into the 18+ gimmick sets or exclusively collecting clones/TCW, 2025 isn't your year. And look. Again. I like the clones. I have well over 50 of them in the current design scheme. But this is just ridiculous. The 2014 set had 3 minifigures and 9 droids for the equivalent of $120 today, so we probably should have expected something like this. (As a side note, that 2014 MTT only held 6 B1s normally, so at least this implies the new one can hold at least 8-10)
  4. I still can't wait for this show to either immediately kill Hal or turn him evil and then everyone talks about how brilliant of a twist it is despite how often they've done it to the poor man. Regardless though, even a single mech with Jon would be cool, which is how we know it won't happen.
  5. I can Direct Message you the instagram handle of a guy in the USA I sold some misprints to, if you'd like, but I don't know that you'll get as much as you might be hoping for. Generally from what I've seen the misprinted heads where the print is just too high up don't go for as much- those, the " trooper with helmet mouth too far down" and "head with eyebrows printed on to the side" are all fairly common. As far as I know there's no concrete way to see how much something goes for, you just have to look for a buyer. I went back and looked and I sold mine for about $30 each in 2022, but they were all helmets, which seems to be what that guy primarily buys.
  6. I don't think the UT-AT counts any more than something like Yavin would. In a situation like the AT-AT pilot I think we can reasonably assume it's largely the same model and they just held off for a few years (my guess is they were concerned it was too obscure and maybe changed their minds when they saw the aftermarket prices for the TIE Pilot helmet) but for something like the UT-AT, like you say, it's a completely new model in an entirely different era of the theme. It's so peak it counts as the entire march wave.
  7. Yup. The comic one isn't even an actual cyborg, he's more like if Peter put half an iron man suit on for medical reasons.
  8. Yeah, but the schumacher films are quite possibly the most disliked batman films. Like sure, they made money, so did BvS. It's just odd that they'd choose to make an Arkham based off those movies as opposed to pretty much anything else that features Arkham. Unfortunately, it's been pretty reliably leaked now that there's nothing coming for that movie. I guarantee you the marketing video is referencing the mech. Not looking too optimal in the "anyone not named batman or jonkler" department. Actually, I don't think we're even getting a joker figure this year, if Arkham is Schumacher. I share your desire for a new Red Hood, but unfortunately I just don't think it happens for quite some time. Maybe if Brave and the Bold features him and Superman did well enough for lego to be confident enough to put out a few sets based on a new piece of media again.
  9. I don't have any special attachment to the AT-AT driver but that design is PERFECT. If the helmets were this good from the start I'd have bought some already. I still don't think I'll pick it up, because it's a relatively obscure helmet, but now I just want them to go back and do the stormtrooper and boba this welll. It is really strange to me that we haven't had the royal guard yet, but honestly if I was sitting on this design I'd want it out as soon as possible. This is by far their best helmet. CORRECT! Yeah I mean obviously the official canon's moved on (I still think she could work in canon but that's besides the point), but I do think it'd be nice to get the odd Legends set every now and again.
  10. It could be in spider-verse but I don't think that's what it's from. The spider-verse movies had a "cyborg spider woman" character but she didn't look like this. It's entirely possible I missed a separate guy who looked like this, since there are a billion spider men in that movie, though. It's a thing from the comics- he gets pretty messed up in a fight and someone fixes him- the eye is actually just an eyepiece and the arm is a cast. This specific one is 1:1 with a suit from the insomniac games that's gotten a lot of merch for some reason. I hope so, but AFAIK leakers did call it "sony's spider verse" or something. That said, they also said that the next Batmobile was a Batcave, so it's not impossible.
  11. Buildable figures are dead, though, so they can't keep it alive anymore. I'd also hazard a guess that with the batman and soup mechs out, if DC doesn't start expanding back out, they don't have any more mechs to make. Even the Jonkler hasn't gotten any builds to himself outside 4+ since 2020. Done, you can be swordy-guns-guy You've singlehandedly shattered my sense of self with those observations about what I have always considered one of the dumbest lego star wars sets. I still do, but it causes me to add patch notes to my criteria and terms: In the future when I saw "playset" I mean standard system set (I think I generally say system set anyway, even though everything's technically system). Something minifigure compatible. Similarly, "including main characters" is now stipulated as "includes popular versions of main characters".
  12. Not in the star wars theme, and realistically the print is probably no longer availible for new sets, but the Daily Bugle Spider-Man set from 2021 is still being sold, which uses that head for Sandman. Not sure for the Andor set- it could be anytime, but they like to play closer to the chest with GWPs.
  13. ...like George Lucas? "The empire isn't evil" doesn't really gel with the opening crawl of the first star wars movie directly says "evil galactic empire". If you for some odd reason want to headcanon the imperials as the good guys, nobody can stop you, but objectively speaking, the empire is and always has been the bad guys in star wars. I don't know how this is even a question.
  14. I agree that What If's failure doesn't correlate to "lego won't do anything for any animated marvel stuff", but I also think '97 is a unique situation. It's based off an old serious people were very nostalgic for, and it was the first time lego brought in the X-men in a decade. I don't think the new spider man show is going to receive the same level of attention that it did- since it's spider-man, I suppose it's possible that the apartment and oscorp are show based since they can kind of safely assume spider man sells no matter what, though.
  15. It's only $12? I'll pay the $48 right now to get my -Kaine, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Luna Snow- in the oscorp set. It could work better, but honestly I dont have an issue with pearl gold and classic red. It's not perfect for the 60's style, but it works fine as a "modern retro" style like the Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon. I think I'd be fine with either though, I just want some more iron men that are classic red instead of dark red. Nothing against him specifically, it's just the most different and out there. Instead of mainly being a color change it's giving a suit to a character who essentially doesn't have one in most modern stuff. I'd still buy one. Not a bad idea. I always thought the cape added a lot to black panther in general, it gives him a more kingly feel and a more unique silhouette. I understand the general premise behind this- most superhero characters are ones I would only want/have one figure of- I think the only ones I have multiples of at the moment are spider-man, batman, and iron man- but my issue with it is a situation like Moon Knight where the MCU character is a substantially different design/character from the comics. Like the Mark 85 is pretty close to his comic look, Cap's suits are pretty spot on with what he's sported in the comics for awhile, etc, but Moon Knight never wore wrappings. I had it in my head that the F4 MCU suits were primarily white for some reason, but they're mainly blue and have the circular logo so if they stay close enough to the comics I might pick them up and just cross my fingers for a bigfig Thing. I guess it's possible, but I hope not. I don't really like what I've seen of the show or any of the designs (can we stop trying to "modernize" peter by making his first costume bad and making him stream/use social media?), so it'd be salt in the wound on preventing a modular oscorp. I will say though, while I'm sure they won't actually deal with this in the show, Spidey straight up killing a guy onscreen in the trailer is hilarious. It might be the most overt "that man is dead" onscreen moment from a hero who doesn't kill in recent memory.
  16. I'm fully on the "it gets folded into Icons" train. All they do are adult-oriented sets based on the older movies anyway. I honestly believe the 4+ sets are the only reason it hasn't been yet. I remembered that he linked a reddit post awhile back so I dove into the abyss to find his account, and unfortunately it hasn't posted since he last came on here. Hopefully he's just on vacation or something.
  17. And even in the snubfighter, they put two somewhat generic nikto with the same face. Like yeah, it's more interesting pirates than just two humans or something, but when your captain is Brutus and you've got people like helmeted Silvo, Gorian Shand, Character Actor Alfred Molina, etc, two nikto feels pretty generic. I agree with you here as opposed to... what, the implication that the rebels are just going to turn around and make a new empire? The rebels were clearly good guys, and if anything, adding some moral greyness to them only happened after the fact. (Thrawn being an imperial leader who wasn't over-the-top "killing my men for no reason" evil, Saw becoming just a straight up terrorist) . There's no other way to read it besides the rebels fighting for freedom and therefore a non-authoritarian form of government. (Though as a side note, the democracy/republic thing is a pet peeve of mine in the US just because somehow no politicians know what our actual form of government is called, a constitutional republic) How dare you, sir.
  18. Thank you! I'd actually been writing that off and on for a few days while waiting for pots to boil/food to heat up/etc. I've been thinking for awhile that we need to shift the current setup lego has for releasing sets. Some more A-level set ideas. There is some overlap, these wouldn't all be out at the same time period, they're just some different concepts. Anakin's Starfighter vs Vulture Droid ($54.99): ETA-2 and Vulture Droid with Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, Ahsoka Tano, Count Dooku, and General Grievous. Clone Trooper Attack ($24.99): AT-RT and BARC speeder (accurate sizes) with Captain Rex, Commander Cody, a 501st legion clone trooper, a 212th legion clone trooper, and 2 b1 battle droids. Starkiller Base Chase ($44.99): Slightly downsized first order snowspeeder with Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, and 2x First Order Snowtrooper. The Mandalorian's Starfighter ($49.99): Mando's N-1 with The Mandalorian, Grogu, R5-D4, Bo-Katan, and Moff Gideon. TIE Fighter ($44.99): Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, a TIE Pilot, and a Stormtrooper. X-wing visit for Jedi Training ($69.99): X-wing starfighter and a small Yoda's hut with Luke Skywalker (Pilot and Training), Yoda, and R2-D2. Imperial Inspection ($89.99): Lambda Shuttle and a small dock area a la the 2005 set. Comes with a shuttle pilot, Palpatine, Vader, an Imperial Officer, and 4x Stormtrooper. Republic Gunship ($139.99): Classic color scheme, but TCW/spaceworthy version. Comes with 2x Clone Pilot, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Captain Rex, and 2x 501st legion Clone Trooper. The Millennium Falcon ($149.99): A slightly downsized Millennium Falcon with (ESB versions) Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO, Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett, Dengar, and IG-88
  19. Lisan Al Gaib. Two years ago we had an almost $50 batmobile with only two minifigures, which I thought was crazy at the time but is almost reasonable now. I could easily see this being a "UCS Jr" set with one minifigure. Now that's just unrealistic..... they'd never give us a robin! :) Sometimes a set will spread out the budget by re-using the prints across multiple sets that release around the same time. That said, whether it's 6 prints or 9 (The BTAS D2C is in a similar catagory, having between 4 and 9-two of the 9 being leg prints, which we've been told are more expensive than torso/head ones- prints depending on whether or not it shared print budget with the Batmobile), it's clearly not enough to spread out over 10 minifigures without a big number of re-uses. My personal bet at the moment is that Arkham just gets cancelled, but if it releases and is schumacher based, my guess is it'll be new prints for Riddler and Two face minifigures and then a not-insubstantial number of guards and generic inmates alongside kitbashed Chase Meridian and somehow Bruce Wayne minifigures.
  20. Totally agree. UCS/MBS Petranaki (I've been spelling it Pentaki for years now I think, whoops) arena is the way to go. Also like the wave in general, I do miss the era of waves based on specific battles. With the discussion in the other thread I thought it'd be interesting to map out how I'd want a year of star wars sets to go, so here it is. I'll stick with the general number of sets we normally get in a year (I'm seeing about 30 plus a polybag and 2 UCS), but change a lot of the ratios and release dates. I'll put the general concept first, then in italics hypothetically what I'd want for 2026. I did ignore the Mando Movie because I didn't want to fill a whole wave with "Mandalorian movie set" January wave: I've always loved the big January waves starting the year off with a bevy of sets. Polybag ($4.99): Mini version of a popular ship. Been awhile since the last falcon, we'll pick that. Mini-Scene ($9.99): Like the 2023/24 marvel sets. For example, this could be a Starkiller Base duel set with Kylo Ren and Rey, with the build being a small snowy aera with a tree drop play feature. Microfighter ($12.99): We'll say Anakin's ETA-2 starfighter for this one. Can't believe it hasn't been a thing yet Battle Pack 1: ($19.99): Let's say a Stormtrooper/Death Trooper battle pack, make the build a turbolaser turret. 4+ ($20-50): Something for the kids with some major characters. We'll do a Republic Gunship ($40) with a Clone Pilot, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Captain Rex. System S1: ($29.99): Speeder Bikes: 2 speeder bikes and some trees with Endor Luke, a Scout Trooper, Princess Leia, and Wicket. System S2: ($35-50): Defense of Hoth ($37.99): Hoth trench with a DF.9, a Tauntaun, and an E-web. Comes with a probe droid, Han Solo (Hoth), a Hoth Rebel Trooper, and two Snowtroopers. System S3: ($35-50): Wheel Bike Chase ($44.99): Wheel bike and buildable Boga with Commander Cody, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, and an Airborne trooper. System M1: ($50-80): B-wing ($69.99): B-wing starfighter with a B-wing Pilot, General Lando, Admiral Ackbar, and Mon Mothma A-level: ($ANY): Something I think lego should adopt from hasbro- a product with intentionally larger stock numbers and longer shelf life, we'll say 5 years for lego, a way to keep major characters and vehicles on shelves without remaking everything as often. We'll say it should start with an X-wing ($54.99): Comes with Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and Stormtrooper. May wave: I think with may the fourth this is the perfect time to capitalize on adults who wouldn't normally be thinking as much about star wars. Helmet 1 ($60-80): Royal Guard? Please? Helmet 2 ($60-80): Build-a-clone, a base P2 helmet with extra parts for different legion markings. Diorama 1 ($60-100): Battle of Mustafar with Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker Diorama 2 ($60-100): Executor Bridge with Vader, Piett, Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss. Midi-scale 1 ($50-100): Venator Star Destroyer ($79.99): We're putting a minifig on each of these, this one comes with Yularen. Midi-Scale 2 ($50-100): Slave One ($69.99): Boba Fett UCS1 ($239.99): Something relatively small like a starfighter or AT-ST. For 2026 I'll guess Anakin's ETA-2 Starfighter with Anakin Skywalker (arm printing for robot hand) and R2-D2 (new torso design allowing head swivel) GWP 1 would just be the $5 poly from earlier in the year GWP 2 (not a set): I don't hate the little non-lego things if they're well made, let's say for 2026 it's a mini replica of the death star plans. GWP 3 (set): mini-diorama with an exclusive figure. We'll say a small Star Forge interior diorama with a new Jedi Knight Revan. September Wave: Moving from august to space the waves out a bit more. Battle Pack 2: ($19.99): Let's say Clone Wolfpack with an accurately sized AT-RT System S4: ($30-50): One more smaller set for the year. Wouldn't hate the return of the AV-7 Cannon ($39.99) with Commander Wolffe, Plo Koon, Count Dooku, and 2x b1 battle droids. System M2: ($50-80): Poe Dameron's Black One X-wing ($54.99) would be nice. Comes with Poe Dameron, BB-8, Finn, and a First Order Stormtrooper. System M3: ($50-80): Ahsoka Season 2 System L1: ($80-120): Imperial Lander ($99.99) from the mandalorian S2. Comes with a mortar trooper, 3x Stormtrooper, Mando, Grogu, Boba Fett, and Fennec Shand. System L2: ($80-120): TIE Advanced vs Y-wing ($109.99): With Dutch Vander, a rebel astromech, Darth Vader, a TIE Pilot, and Grand Moff Tarkin. System L3: ($80-120): Ahsoka Season 2 System G1: ($120-180): Ahsoka Season 2 System G2: ($120-180): Republic Dropship and Assault Tank ($149.99): Republic dropship and Falchion Assault Tank. Comes with 1x Clone Pilot, 1x Clone gunner, 2x clone trooper (Shiny), Commander Deviss, and Mace Windu. System G3: ($120-180): Cloud City ($179.99): Large playset with exterior landing pad (with midi scale slave one) and interior rooms consisting of the carbon freeze chamber, main hallway, dining room, small droid repair room, and maintenance area/the latter two areas of the Vader/Luke fight. Comes with Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, Leia (jumpsuit), Han (Carbon-freezing), Chewbacca (new mold with studs on back to allow for C-3PO's head to be put on a backpack build), 1x Ugnaught, 1x Wing Guard, Lobot, Boba Fett, and 2x Stormtrooper. November mini-wave: Just getting that last UCS out there in time for christmas. UCS2/MBS1 ($300-900): MBS set or large UCS set. Let's say Endor Bunker/Ewok Village ($399.99): Bunker in the middle with a large tree on either side containing a bit of the village up top. Comes with a midi-scale AT-ST, two speeder bikes, and 23 minifigures: Luke Skywalker (endor), Princess Leia (Endor), Princess Leia (Endor, Dress), Han Solo (Endor), Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, Rebel Commando (Rex), Rebel commando, Wicket, Paploo, Logray, Chirpa, Teebo, an Ewok Scout, 2x Stormtrooper, 2x Navy Trooper, 1x Officer, 1x AT-ST Driver, 2x Scout Trooper. Celebration 1 ($20-40): Some sort of holiday, anniversary, or celebration set as a store exclusive. For 2026, maybe Rogue One Anniversary ($39.99): A buildable Alliance Starbird with Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Imwe, Baze Malbus, and Bodhi Rook. ADVENT 1 ($39.99): Need to lower that price back a tiny bit. It goes on enough sales I think it'd be worth it. I'm not going to determine what'd be in every day of it but I'll just say the exclusive prints are taken and put onto a Santa Mando figure's torso and a Reindeer Grogu figure's body piece.
  21. (Agreed overall on Lando just having a rough time of it in canon) MARA JADE MENTIONED. @CloneCommando99, where are you? Yeah exactly. We're overdue for a remake of 3/4 of the rebel starfighters, and even if you count the resistance A and Y wings it's still been long enough that it wouldn't hurt. Just slot Lando in the next A-wing.
  22. No, he gave up pretending he wasn't turtle like day 2, but talked about superman a lot throughout his RiddlerDC tenure, he even had that monologue about the new movie shining bright like kryptonite or something. He 100% had turned around on Soup. It 100% is, which is odd that we've now had multiple times where a set that leaked as a base turns out to instead be a vehicle for that faction. There's precedent but it's for a set becoming worse, not better, lol. Would that not be further evidence that lego plans to do it? We do have a thread for that - and hopefully it'll be replaced soon by this one fully becoming the aslume, seeing as the theme's getting ever-more insane. You have to consider that the price of a roughly-the-same-size batmobile has gone from $30 to $60 in 5 years. We shouldn't expect that the forever batmobile will be the value of a $100 set.
  23. Yeah unless I missed a leaker saying something somewhere I have no idea where this is coming from, it's been explicitly stated the set is Schumacher based, and while there's some similar shaping, the Forever batmobile has a massive wing sticking out the back and some other major differences
  24. No, towards the end he turned around to liking superman, even if he flies (like a bee), so we could get a SUPERMAN shadow box. The obvious answer is that the set will omit Robin and the Forever villains. But T in the US, which is what lego seems to base the sets off of. The "amount of violence" isn't what lego looks at with this- it's always 1:1 with the rating in the US. Hence why Dune, the Batman, and Andor get sets, but anything rated R, TV-MA, or M doesn't. Arkham in the past was the one exception, but it was a single minifigure in the app-controlled batmobile. My guy do not gaslight yourself into thinking the forever batmobile is arkham based. We've known it's a Schumacher set for awhile.
  25. About $60 today, which is ironically about as much as Transformers' most recent Hasbro product. Same hope here. Given that Optimus is generally supposed to be one of the larger bots and Soundwave's a similar piece count (and will have to have a hollow torso), I think we'll see at least 2-3 cassettes. Ravage and Laserbeak for sure, Maybe Rumble or Frenzy if we're lucky (And whichever of the two we don't get + Ratbat as a GWP)
