lego doesn't have big lego marvel sales, and can't waste money on satisfying a small group of people that will just move on to something else to complain about. If the theme did better, it'd get more printing/molds/etc. Look at star wars and ninjago, higher-quality because they sell better. I don't want to touch into the knockoffs again but buying things from people who deliberately and malicously imitate intellectual property/licensed IPs/patents? That isn't even legal, much less morally right. Also, the ATS suits are clearly going to be in the movie. Thx. I'm not as mad about not getting thor or widow as minor purist changes fix most of these guy's appearances to endgame standards, but we definitely needed a ronin and scale armor cap, and I still don't get what they were thinking with hulk besides "An ATS suit would look weird as he has molded shorts already"

I would love a full set of 20th minibuilds of the full sets, but i guess for the smallest ones it would be alot harder to do. The rumors only being for sets as much may be due to no minifigure leaks to hype speculation. Just a thought.

Yes in my opinion molded parts that are made as lego parts are knockoffs. Like, custom prints and molds wouldn't be knockoffs,but xinh would. Yeah it seems anything special we get from marvel (UCS, architecture styling) has to be from AOU. As sheev would say, "ironic" Lol. Yeah supporting stuff like lepin makes lego lose sales, which makes them have to up the prices/lower quality to keep making money. So in addition to it being morally wrong, buying lepin is counterproductive to the goals some people have expressed in this thread. I would just let lego know what you think, politely, and buy some of the sets to give them a bigger budget to work with.

Yeah, we could have gotten a starforce set, a skrull army builder, and monica, maria, yon-regg, etc. The worst part is there were builds we could have had too, and the movie's doing really well. I wonder why we only got one set. I'm getting kind of confused now. Does captain america have a new shield mold or is it just a different colour?

Having seen captain marvel, which was better than i expected it to be, I think we definitely needed more sets. Including I like the new GWP. I won't spend the money on it if it's only marvel sets to get it, because I wont wait that long for any of the endgame stuff I want, but the figure isn't a must-have, though one that is quite cool.

Yeah, so many jedi we need to get. Yaddle, I think the most important figure that we need to get is rebel friend. Hands down.I'm being serious.

I think they'll do something like the republic frigate, as I mentioned before, where the sides open up at the top, along with some cockpit space. I would love to be proven wrong, however, and get a hallway in the middle, with rooms on the sides.

I think we'll se bail but not the stormtroopers. That gives us 6-8 depending on wether or not the droids are included, a respectable amount. But who knows? Maybe it'll be like death star and we get crazy tons of figures, maybe we'll get just leia, raymus, and bail, and vader is the may the fourth.

I think we also need to entertain the possibility that the promo the bricktober pack, as we still have no official confirmation from lego of it's release date.

I think the most likely suspect would be scale suit cap, seeing as he is an exclusive varient rather than a full new character possibly requiring new molds, but they did do giant-man and the iron man armors, so who knows Actionflash had a theory in his video that they were going to do that suit instead of bones but changed it. They have like 1 new mold in the wave, maybe they couldn't make the arm things so had to change it? Do we have to buy only marvel for that promo or can it be any lego? I'd much rather postpone buying the star wars 20th stuff by 2 days then the endgame stuff for a month, especially since I'm not buying the quinjet or compound. My thoughts are also either something with rescue and some more HOA pods, or something with scale-armor cap and ronin.

Yes, that would be nice. I could see us getting cockpit space, and then hallway/interior on the sides of the ship, with the center being technic/support, similar to what they did with the republic frigate, but bigger.

What seems to be happening is lego is trying to replicate (the success?) of the lego batman sets that they did from 2012-present. They have the hero and some vehicle for him as the main build, with other heroes and villains included so people can get those figures. I don't think this works for spider-man, however as any form of transportation for him they create is detrimental to the essence of spider-man, as he webswings. With batman, they make sense, but for spider-man, they just look stupid. Personally, I think lego should stop putting spider-man in every set and give us honest-to-goodness comic-based sets, with all the great vehicles and locations from them. However, since they just rebranded marvel superheroes to spider-man, we'll probably be stuck with the spider-vehicles for a long time. Wasn't there something about an endgame/compound D2C?

i agree, the strange chin feature and overall blocky head could have been done better, but the rest is very good. I love that you can fit a figure in it too. Don't judge people for not liking some waves of sets, and don't decide that your opinions on which sets are good decide who is a lego fan.

My thoughts on the sets. Captain america bike: A nice battle pack, glad we get new cap helmet. WMB: Great mech, good to see new ant man helmet Armor room: AMAZING, only complaints are igor's derpy face and that we get 2 outriders taking up spots of great suits we could have. Quinjet: ok. Nice design, meh figures. Compound: I finally see the "lego is lazy" perspective. This set is TERRIBLE! It is in no way worth $100, the only remotely good build is the car that won't appear in the film and takes away from getting a full base, the base is crap, the helicopter is bad, and the figures. Oh, the figures. Thanos is ok, like the full gauntlet, cool, the ONLY GOOD ONE IN THE SET. Iron man mk 85 could easily have replaces mk 50 in the armor room, giving us, say, ronin. Captain marvel, THE SAME FIGURE, is already on shelves, and we could have had, maybe scale armor cap. THE OUTRIDER IS THE 7TH IN THE WAVE and we could have had rescue instead! And i don't care about QR suit nebula, easy purist custom, we could have had a normal thor, war machine, etc instead. And hulk is neither in his QR suit or his professor hulk suit, despite appearing in it IN THE BOX ART!

I would argue more people would wait to buy the endgame sets directly from them or just buy more of the endgame stuff overall (this thread is evidence of the disappointment with the wave) if the bricktober pack was a GWP with it people would spend money on random sets and stuff to get the bricktober pack. I, for one, will wait until prices drop on bricklink.

So that's that I guess. Would have been nice to get them alongside endgame sets, or at least have a lower threshold to get it, but i guess it appears in the US now so it's not the worst situation and prices will go down on bricklink.

Are we sure though? we all thought that it was real for march 1st-7th, too. Not trying to discredit you, just being cautious. I know right? Right after they got lepin in a civil case in china lepin released the cloud city knockoff. It's incredibly stupid that they are going after fans. Makes more sense. Still don't get thier priorities, but theft is, y'know, illegal.

Sad. This is the bad side of marvel secrecy, the part that gets the leakers in trouble and keeps stuff "hidden" after it's already known. Still, can't be far off now.

Also, tony stress builds, so he might just have been making more suits to cope with the pain.

Heh, I'm not buying the compound, I can afford to be disappointed. I meant polybag/bricktober pack as in some other way to get the character. This is why we needed a D2C or 6th set, or maybe just for lego to STOP PUTTING OUTRIDERS IN EVERY SET! One could almost remark about this time period we are currently in being the end of this game, as it were. (I'm sorry, I'll stop now.) Yeah, Igor is maybe a bit smaller than a hulkbuster in the movies, but seeing as how they scaled up the hulkbuster we could see a slightly smaller blue hulkbuster type thing for Igor. That would make 4 large iron man suits in 2 years.

They say he's brick built. I think that seems too big, I personally think he'll be a small build, probably only able to have the tony head/hair and not a full suit fit inside.(as it is a weird scale between suit and hulkbuster) I'm pretty sure that if we get a 5th figure in the armor room it will be rescue or nebula, not an outrider. Also, seeing how little space for heroes is left, I don't think lego would waste spaces on another outrider in the armor room or captain marvel in either set. She's still on shelves and the outriders are pretty plentiful, though we could be disappointed again. If there are 3 spots left, I'm going to go scale cap and ronin in the compound and either rescue in the armor room with nebula in the compound or iron man in the compound and nebula in the armor room, with rescue as a polybag/bricktober/never appearing, :(
