  1. Please let us know what you did when you are finished
  2. @damangos It is a great train! Many thanks for the instructions
  3. Hi, I found an article that examines the problems with color recognition at ramblingbrick.com
  4. Hello @Cosmik42 I have two questions on the "Self-Driving Train Module". First: Can you rewrite the program so that the number of repetitions can be entered? Or set to infinite? Instead of repeating the path? Second: Is it possible to drive with two-way traffic in this mode? I have seen that you only provide an "End Section Detector", that could be a problem. Imagine an oval with two alternative routes:
  5. You're right. It is very easy to do this: Hub[0].SetMotorSpeed("A", Hub[0].GetSpeed("A")+10); Hub[0].SetMotorSpeed("B", -Hub[0].GetSpeed("A"));
  6. Hi @Cosmik42, You probably know the problem with two mirrored and coupled trains that the rear railcar has to go "backwards" for the whole train to go forwards (2 x 60197 or 2 x 10233). Is it possible to "couple" two hubs in your software and address them like one, so that both do exactly the same, but in the other direction? Or do I have to realize this as an event of one hub, which then controls the second hub?
  7. i love your tanker wagon. I had to build it myself. I also did a longer version:
  8. Thank you!
  9. Hi @Stephanix I have built your Torpedo based on the pictures on Lego Ideas. I am very curious what is coming here.

That's a wonderful baby. The building was a bright joy. Thank you for sharing the LDD! I love these big cars. I also did the Topedo (Eurobricks) myTorpedo (Bricksafe)
  11. no, i am not Stephanix. I have just built the same thing based on Stephanix' Idea. I would like to do the tilting mechanism too.
  12. Could you give me some details, please? How did you do it in such a small space?
  13. I love this, i had to do it myself. myTorpedo
  14. As the project is getting more and more popular (rebrickable) you should consider releasing version 0.10 instead of 1.0. Or at least leave a note somewhere that you can't be held responsible for any damage. It's a shame it has to be, but just think about it for a second.
  15. But you've opened the door to a new dimension. Imagine what is possible with this ingenious idea. Everything. Any external program can be integrated with it.
  16. Yes, i think here is the answer. I ordered another adapter mentioned by @Cosmik42. If it does not work i'll maybe try an internal Bluetooth adapter (PCIe). I also found this link where some Lego - Buetooth related stuff is described. SBrick is selling the mentiond adapter. Pease do so. Is it possible to set the Value of partial corresponding to the color of interest? Does the sensor recognize colors better if you use light? @Lok24 Did you try that?
  17. I've already tested several Bluetooth adapters and can't connect more than five HUBs. Even if "up to seven devices at the same time" is written on the packaging. When I switch on the sixth HUB, I get the error: "Error opening communication:Unreachable". How many HUBs can you connect and which adapter do you use? It is possible to control the trains via Laptop 1 and barriers via Laptop 2. But also this is very limited with five HUBs each. What other possibilities can you imagine to avoid this limitation? Is it possible to make the "MyGlobalFunction" accessible for several laptops? Or to use one laptop per section (maybe soon Android devices) as controller? Then the HUBs of the trains would have to automatically connect to the respective controllers for each section.
  18. but you can influence that with the coolDownTime now, right?
  19. I have no problems with it, it runs totaly smooth.
  20. This is a totaly awsome build. I am very interested in the mechanics This is mine: The longer I look at your Terminal, the more I like it.
  21. One of my eleven hubs could not connect. The hub worked with the Lego app and the Lego controller. With the Lego app a new firmware was installed. Nothing helped. As a trained Windows user I tried the most obvious. Restart. Everything works now.
  22. hi, i have one hub throwing this exception instead of connecting: Exception while connecting A method was called at an unexpected time. (HRESULT exception: 0x8000000E) for System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at LegoTrainProject.MainBoard.<TryToConnect>d__16.MoveNext() in C:\Users\Cosmik\Dropbox (Lucky Duck Games)\Private\LuckyDuck\The Lego Project\Source\Main UI\MainBoard.cs:Line 156. I can connect to this hub via the lego app any ideas?
  23. Hi, When I load a saved project, does the program load only the hubs that are included in the project? No more hubs are being searched? According to "bluetooth connection debug" the software constantly checks the environment for devices. Is it possible to stop and restart this manually? I think this would be useful if there are several layouts in the same room. Also releasing hubs added by mistake could be helpful in the future.
