  1. Really lovely details inside! ;-) If it was a set, I would buy it, I'm sure ;-) Good work!
  2. That's a great model! ;-) Very impressive. How many hours did you invested in "building" it? Well, the idea would be worth to be realised! ... But it is questionable, if it would break. It seems you didn't fixed elements for long distances, right? Nevertheless - a really cool project!! ;-)
  3. Hi everyone, last Saturday, I made my first experience at an exhibition. I just brought my first two MOC trains. The first day went from 9:15am to 8pm. Time rised very fast, I think. Although I know many much bigger events happening in countries like the US, I want to share some impressions. First of all a video-cut of the train layout - and also my two first creations (german IC and n-wagen; the red train with a white stripe and the red engine (BR218) and the white train with red stripe and the BR103 (dank red- tan): Last but not least some photos in one video cut showing most of the resented models: I hoped, you got some ince imressions while whatching the videos ;-) As always any feedback is welcome :) Best Regards Niklas
  4. Hello, (can't say good evening because I guess, some of you have a quite different time);-) Thank you for all these words! ;-) To be honest, I just remembered these coaches running along - even in my homw town - till 2007, when I was just 9 years old. Well, long time, I knew, I wanted to rebuild that model. I dind't know how these coaches would be called. So a searches for train ... after many pictures, I found a picture of the coach with the word "n-Wagen" and "Silberling" - I typed both to google - then most of the pictures showed the coaches, I ment - so I gussed, that's how ther're called. Words like "Rotling" or "Blauling" sound quite special for me, I never heard them. I for myself can luckily say, I haven't any problems with the german language - absolutly none. ;-) With english - thaught it must be easier - it's different. I guess, there it's of an high relevance how often one is using the language. Next time, I will add pictures again. ... I am still looking for a good tool for showing them. Okay - the last words in the heading were a bit stilly, I now notice, too. Well, I just saw my process of getting all these windows. But for me there wasn't any alternative part, I would accept. About the end- coach, I should think a bit, that'r right... Well, I guess, that would take a wile. Best Regards ;-) Niklas
  5. I just can say: really good work! ;-) A nice- looking engine. And your way of presentation was so well-made! I look forward seeing more from you! :)
  6. Hello after spending some more money in prats, now my second custom train is finished. In this case, I worked out some more details. (e.g. the door at the ends of each coach/ wagon. Well, I still need to add some window glasses and chairs. Both are orderes. But I guess, that parts are not that important for an impression of that model: First of all some funy scenes: in this video I take a detailes look at the train - unfortunatelly, I spoke in german. If you want, I could also do an english-commented video. WHat do you think? ...or trying to learn one more language ;-) Well, now, I am excited, what you will think ;-) Best regards, Niklas
  7. Thany you for your nice feedback! To read this makes me really happe ... and motivates me to going on ;-) There is so much still planed ;-) ...but it's a quite expensive hobby.
  8. Thank you! :) I just used a one trafo each round. I also was surprised in a positive way. That works quite well ;-) The outer two rounds are build with an other technic - just 1x2 plate & 2x2 corner plate - so the radius is even bigger. By the way: In this video, one round is even longer and still only one standard 9v travo each round is used ;-) .... I was really surprised.
  9. First of all thank you for the feedback! :-) In the German community the feedback was more critical ;-o I know, there is space for improving - however, I'm just starting in building onw things. Till now, I just collected sets ;-) --- That's the big problem of the 9v system - most custom tracks won't match that well. Indeed, the "bridge" is expencive regarding the price of the 9v train tracks. ...In contrast to my store of technic bricks, I have about 500 of straight 9v tracks - so is was possible for me to do that. It's true, the longer a train, the worse it's for the motor. However, I still tried out a long train on standard tracks. Well, that worked - but I don't really konw, if it is comparable regarding the much shorter lenght and the lower weight of that: (now, I even have 4 more cars for the ICE ;-) ) Looking at long curves, I also would have an alternative: I guess, that would also work well the long IC and other coming trains. Sorry for the quality, that time I just had my Nokia Handy ;-o
  10. Thank you!! :) Is the IC really running in the Netherlands? :-o Okay - I will try it out. I thaught, it was okay - also in his forum, I shared the train with the pictures so that they still existed. Best Regards!
  11. Hello trainfans ... and everyone else of course, too ;-) Some days (weeks) ago, there: I said "hello" for the first time. Now - some days later, my first MOC is nearlly finished. I want to start with a video of it: Well, I guess, the kind of video (fogg) doesn't everybody like - however, I wanted topresent in a special way. I also thaught about presenting in the wood, at the beach or on a high tower - problem there would be the electric for the 9 motors - so I choose that was. Regarding my first post, you will know, it's just a very little start. There will come much more trains and even a nice setting - I hope, at least one new train per month should be possible... However, that's really expensive. (Especially the windows!) ... and there is still remaining a very little rest of the lego train sets, I still want to but. (Aim is getting every single set since 1966.) Pictures? Okay - in case, you haven't got the time or don't like youtube ;-) https://www.1000steine.de/de/gemeinschaft/forum/img/68516-1551536430.jpg https://www.1000steine.de/de/gemeinschaft/forum/img/68516-1551536368.jpg https://www.1000steine.de/de/gemeinschaft/forum/img/68516-1551536466.jpg Well... they seem to be to big for the onside upload button ;-o What do you think about the train? ... I still need about 6 more cars for getting a realistic lenght... (an observing car and a bistro for example ;-) ) Best regards and a nice weekend!! ;-)
  12. Thank you!! ;-) That's very nice to know! Some of the trains shown in my videos are not my own work. However, currently some MOCs are in progress. I think, in the mid of March, I am able to present some. ...Train parts might be quite expensive. This month, I spend about 500€ in parts - and any MOC is really ready. ;-o Well, after 500€ more, some trains should be ready. ;-)
  13. Hello everyone, some weeks ago, I signed to eurobricks - but didn't wrote anything - because I thaught, firstly, I should realise my planed MOC projects. However, I changed my mind: I want just now say hello and start my first post. Little fact to me: I am 20 years old, form Germany and more or less collecting lego trains for 13 years. Last summer, I stated to earn own money - so it's getting more and more lego in my collection. (Spending at least 600€ per month ;-) ) Now - to present what I am doing - I copy my YouTube channel description and connect some videos: -- Description Train-Traum ... nach Zügen verrückt! (mad about trains) My aim is getting one of the world's best lego train collection. Part one is getting all lego trains in the over 50 years history (nearly achieved) next step is getting more so that every passenger train could be at least 1.5 meters long - or at least consisting of at more than 10 wagons/parts (in progress) next step is create one trains ...about 10 in this year (just beginning) and last but not least creating amazing video projects wich interest not only train fans! (a list with about 30 video project ideas is existing) If a could, I would produce videos all time - but time and money doesn't make it possible. I hope, you have fun while watching my videos! --- And now a short overview of some of mine train projects: Summary of my first videos: (attention, the beginning might be a bit noisy or boring) and my latest video from today: Regarding the fast, I just started in November of the last year, I think, a made a lot of videos... A few days ago, I bought the gopro hero black 7 - so next videos will become a better quality. Thanks for reading!! What do you think about that? Best wishes and best regards!! Niklas
