  1. I uploaded an entry before midnight, but I couldn't post a link to it until now? Is it still good? @Peppermint_M
  2. Wait is that still going on? Can I enter it? do I need to change the title? Yeah I always thought it was too small
  3. interesting Yeah Nya doesn't often get a variant.
  4. Hello, welcome to another one of my M.O.C.s, It was originally meant to be my 300th post but I was off, anyway let us begin. This time we have something different, instead of something entirely original I was inspired by an already existent part of set. That being the small Skeleton Mech from the Ninjago Day of the Departed set, 70592 Salvege M.E.C. Here's the original for comparison; The torso had some slight changes with a revamped rib-cage utilizing the Exo-force arms with barbs inserted instead of the awkward skeleton arm. The back lost it's formerly uncovered, bland grey block with a printed skulkin symbol and slop pieces Starting with his arms, his upper arms has black armor slope pieces. The forearm also has slight armor, His hands are arguably the biggest change loosing the rather inflexible exo-arms with three fingers, The middle one still uses the Exo-arms with the same silver, dark blades Another major change is his legs, Now they utilize more bony pieces. And the legs have been given the fabulously hard to pull off, KNEES! Yes I know quite the hard thing to grasp. The feet are wider to help support the Mech even the original had small feet for it's size and thus was very front heavy, sorry for the colors, didn't have a one-by-two plate in black. Now for a quick look at the custom Skulkin I made for this M.O.C. combines in my opinion, the best of the original Skulkin, The DotD, and Legacy Skulkin, Here's a size comparison of The Skulkin Mech with a similar size And of course the final pic is the obligatory Gali comparison pic
  5. That is the cocoon piece first used in The Hero Factory Invasion from Below wave. This Moc is simply superb. I love animal molds and the mammoth piece's use here is fantastic, it reminds me of that scene from Lord of The Rings. The sheer amount and variety of plants (Plus mushrooms which are fungi) is just superb and probably took years to get. I love the hidden bones on the bottom deep in the soil, The saddle is perfect. does it affect stability in anyway?
  6. I really like how you used those pieces for the eyes, and the fact that it has knees is a huge achievement as all know. The custom grill is pretty complex, how did you do Nya's shoulder armor though? I don't know that cloth piece Also the re-imagined Serpentine with everything being custom is kinda cool. The new fang blade and that fish headpiece (I'm not sure which) really works well
  7. I mean they never made his minifigure before so. . . there wasn't much to base it on
  8. Definitely, it is an upgrade from the original movie.
  9. I think this post is off topic
  10. wow I really touched a sensitive nerve here the Clutch Powers minifigure is cool. Shame the rest of the figures are so voring. Aside from the blizzard Samurai which is kinda unique
  11. I would be surprised if it's that big considering the size of the ice fortress. Plus being a wyvern, not a true, quadrupedal dragon like the earth dragon could just appear bigger because it's more spread out and lanky. I did not know that. That sounds depressing
  12. These toys are not meant for toddlers, kids are the youngest audience. There' no reason for the lack of knees on smaller mechs or creatures, I'm sorry I would look at the size of the dragon in that hunted set where it came with an arena. it's probably around that size
  13. I understand but like can you apply the weight argument to smaller, lighter mechs and creatures? And if any toy company could overcome these problems it would be Lego It only convinces me if it's for the largest of Mechs
  14. I thought Lego was all about attempting the hard
  15. I mean i Understand but they apply this lack of knes even to smaller mechs, what's the deal with that? The New Samurai Mech from Legacy, could handle knees. Heck even the Samurai X2 probably could/ There is no excuse for mechs of those size. And to go beyond Ninjago just for one last example. The Grimrocks from Nexo Knights lacked knees
  16. Yeah for some reason Lego is Kneephobic when it comes to mechs. And to build on what you said about eyepatches. Most people think they're for people who lose an eye (Which is a perfectly cool thing to do) Most people do it to rest their eyes.
  17. Ah okay now I see that picture, maybe might want to post that next time
  18. The Fold said on their twitter that they're writing music for the next season. Why would he have an eye patch then?
  19. Yeah and they've stopped having the fold record music for the last three seasons.. But apparently they're coming back still it is the last time they did something like this
  20. I would say Lego has done other good things, but yeah hopefully it doesn't end up being like Tox did. you know, not actually doing much
  21. We don't know that it'll be bad
  22. Love this set, gotta get it oh okay
  23. Thant makes sense. Also how much will we be able to modify the hidden side sets until they;re AR functionality breaks down
  24. The medium legs will kill the short legs, and make my large stone army obsolete Yeah it might be fine for a few years maybe a decade.
