  1. Looks like the summer wave is available on most of the Europe S@H sites, hopefully that means it won't be too much longer for us here in the US.
  2. Overall I'm not impressed. The minifigures are nice, and I'm very glad to see Chancellor Palpatine and Mace Windu in non-CW versions, but I doubt I'll be spending $90 on this set.
  3. I can't wait to see some of these! An R5-D4 would be epic
  4. Yes, its been out for a few years though so it may be hard to find.
  5. Luke's Landspeeder would probably be your best choice- its $25 and you get a nice vehicle, plus five minigifures that are some of the most important characters from the OT.
  6. Yup, now I'm convinced. Excellent review! R2-D2 has long been my favorite SW character, so there's no way I'll be passing this up.
  7. Same here, looks like that's the case.
  8. I placed an order right around midnight on the 4th and its still listed as "In Process", is that normal? I'm sure they got a lot of orders but I've never had one take so long before getting a confirmation.
  9. Very nice! I'm thinking I'll wait for a sale to get this one- it looks great but $180 is kind of steep.
  10. How did you manage that? That's an impressive sale!
  11. I'm not a fan of the CW, but I must say that the Magna Guard Starfighter looks pretty cool.
  12. That's awesome! So for the US it will probably be: -Free TC-14 and free shipping for SW purchases over $75 -Free R2-D2 poster and Mini TIE Fighter with all SW purchases -Some kind of sales (I'm guessing the Death Star, Millennium Falcon, Republic Frigate, and maybe the Imperial Shuttle) Sounds good to me- the free shipping and TC-14 is enough for me to pull the trigger.
  13. Has anyone tried this? I know they say its possible for planet sets, but I feel like it would be difficult with normal-sized sets. If it could work, though, it would be a great way to save space! Thoughts?
  14. I checked on Bricklink and it says that Panaka's color is "Medium Dark Flesh", while that figure's is "Dark Flesh". I don't like the medium version as much as the regular version, it seems less accurate.
  15. He looks reddish-brown in this pic (from FBTB):
  16. I agree- I'm guessing it will settle in the $30-$40 range.
  17. Thanks everyone!
  18. I don't have the 9494 so I can't say anything to that end, but if you can get 9492 on sale I would absolutely recommend it. The model is easily one of the most impressive system-scale sets I've seen. The figures aren't bad either, nothing too extraordinary but cool nonetheless.
  19. Hi all, just wanted to show off my latest MOC- a small scene from the attack on the first Death Star. The mini X-Wing is a design that I came up with, and the mini TIE Fighter is based on LEGO's official model. Here are some more views: Let me know what you think!
  20. I'm loving that new TC-14, it looks excellent. Now to decide how to get one...
  21. I'm pretty sure it all has to be Star Wars, but I suppose you could always return it to your local LEGO store if its something you don't really want.
  22. That's awesome! Hopefully there will be some good sales to go along with it
  23. I noticed the same thing with the new Anakin Skywalker that came in this summer's podracer set- the helmet doesn't completely cover the back face. It bugs me
  24. That doesn't tell us the USD price... surely it can be estimated but its still just an estimate
  25. 100% agreed- I think the model is very well detailed and not the least bit gimmicky
