  1. Thanks for that. Thats quite unfortunate if true, but it would certainly explain why things were moving so slow.
  2. The SDCC minifigure giveaway today was a bit of a disaster this year. This is probably the 5th year I've tried for them, and it was the most frustrating yet. I got in line over an hour early, but once they opened for some reason we all moved at a snails pace- probably 10 feet every 10 minutes. After almost 3 hours of waiting, they ran out of figures and disbanded the line before even half of us got a chance to get to the raffle. The last few years everything moved much more quickly, so even if they did run out you didn't waste more than an hour or so of the day. Finding a quarter of the day gone without even a chance at the figure was pretty disappointing. I still say the best system was from a few years ago when Lego would scan badges at their booth throughout the day and put the winning badges on a screen at the end of the day. This way you never had to wait and everyone was guaranteed a chance at winning
  3. How do I save the level pack data to my console? Every other pack I've bought worked by simply placing the new figure on the pad. I'm on PS4, by the way.EDIT: Nevermind, i got it figured out. I changed the Wifi password a few weeks ago and didn't update my PS4's info, so it hadn't been installing updates.
  4. Is there a special trick needed to access the Midway arcade level? When I take the Gamer Guy to the central platform in Vortron, I don't see either the level or the open world available in level select. When I take him to the Midway Arcade gateway in Vortron, the portal that appears is red, and when i jump through it nothing happens. I also tried to access the Arcade Platform in the Back to the Future level, but neither Gamer Guy nor the Arcade Machine could interact with it in anyway. Is my game bugged, or am I missing something?
  5. Wow really? That seems almost too reasonable, given the way things have been priced out recently. Consider that we paid more than that for just the First Order TIE Fighter.
  6. They are probably using his full name, Dengar Hernandez [Citation Needed].
  7. This is frustrating me as well. I've actually put the game on hold until Wave 5 vomes out because I'm tired of doing 90% of an area knowing ill have to come back later to finish it off. Ard there any concrete rumors for Wave 6 and beyond? I saw a mention of a list a few pages back where S stood for either Scooby or Sonic, but couldn't find the post it was referencing.
  8. I'm hoping the rumors of Rogue One having a full stable of bounty hunters are true, and we can finally get 4LOM and Zuckuss.
  9. After seeing pictures of the new Nexo Knight sets, i'm really hoping that the "medi-fig" size of the larger Knight becomes standard for Lego. It will integrate with other figures much more nicely that the current Big Figs.
  10. I agree that we are unlikely to get Moe's Tavern, but I'm certainly keeping my fingers crossed for an Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag!
  11. I just bought and built it this weekend, and was actually a bit disappointed. The minifigures are great and the build is very sturdy, but other than that I don't have much positive to say about it. My number one complaint is that there are gaps everywhere- it doesn't bother me when there are tiny holes around cockpits and such, but looking at it from the side it almost feels incomplete, especially over the front wheels. There's a small gribbly bit that is technic pinned into the side, but it isn't nearly big enough to cover the gap it is over. An even bigger bother to me was the gap just above the large slope brick at the center of the side- There's a big hole where the front half seemingly "slides into" the backhalf, and the designer didn't even bother to cover up a tan plate that is showing. (You can see this on the cover; the tan plate is a couple inches above the right-most battle droids head). The hole is big enough that you can easily see the white robot/gun rack inside. It's not a huge deal, but it does feel a bit sloppy. As for play features, other than the extending droid carrier, nothing really goes beyond "open this door and slide a thing out", except for the two "open this door and shoot the new spring loaded missiles". I know you didn't want comparisons to the old model, but I was a bit sad to see they dropped the feature that closed the front doors when you cranked the droid carrier back in. I'm not necessarily saying this set should be avoided, but if I had to rank all the star wars sets this would probably be in the bottom half. Still, if you never grabbed any of the old ones, it may be worth picking up.
  12. Did we ever get confirmation what the new Visual Dictionary figure will be?
  13. The hammerhead pictured will almost certainly not be in the Cantina set, seeing as the other figs alongside him won't be in the set, not to mention there was no "Ithorian Jedi" (as the caption describes him) inside the Cantina. However, it's always a possibility (though an unlikely one in my opinion) that a different hammerhead may be included in the set, since we don't have any concrete info on at least one of the included figures.
  14. Didn't he base the costume off something he took from a Shi'ar Imperial Guardsman?
  15. I had thought that initially too, but if they had the mold ready for the Yoda Chronicles picture, why not for the Cantina picture? I guess they may have not finalized the printing on the fig and didn't want to show it early, but my gut feeling is that we won't see Momaw for a little while. I had the same thoughts with all the Clone Wars Jedi that came out- "With the molds readily available, it's only a matter of time before we get classic versions of Shaak-Ti, Even Piell, or Aayla Secura!"- and well, look where we're at now... I assume that you meant "a total of ten". But didn't we see the actual description of the set that accompanied the photo, and it said there are 8 figures included? That's pretty unequivocal; I don't think they would have flatly stated 8 figs if they had plans for 10. And 8 figs is already a good amount for what is supposed to be a $70 set.
  16. I'm wondering that myself- The Cantina itself is pretty substantial, and even if you ignore the Dewback and the Landspeeder it already feels more massive than the new 75043 AT-PT, and that set only had 5 minifigs. I'm not about to sit down and do a piece-by-piece analysis, but the quoted estimate (I don't recall exactly, but I think it was around 660) seems a bit low- if we assume ~40 pieces for figures and accessories, another 20 or so pieces for the dewback and saddle, and probably 100 for the landspeeder, that only leaves ~500 pieces for the set itself. I guess the use of wall pieces could cut back on the piece count, but we can see a decently detailed bar, a brick built door, and a brick built from wall- 660 pieces just seems small for what we can see.
  17. Here are how I see the possibilities: A) The "new" minifugres refer to new versions of existing characters, in which case we get a new Greedo as the first and 3 new and identical Bith band members as the second. However, this means the other characters are not "new", and will be identical to figures that have already been produced: we will get the same Ben Kenobi from the last Falcon and Landspeeder, with no leg printing. B) The "new" minifigures refers to characters that have never been produced before. With 5 of the figures known to be "old", that means that the three squidward heads represent either a single new figure and 2 copies of a second new figure (i.e. band members). This also means that the "old" characters may feature unique printings. C) Same as B, except that instead of having two copies of a "new" character, we only get a single copy and the third Squidward represents a new version of a previously released character (Jawa seems most likely, Chewie also possible but it seems unlikely they would make him squidward in the prelims). If this is the case. As somebody who already owns the old Greedo, option A) would be VERY disappointing- The only truly new figure for me would be the Bith and a slight reworking of an already well produced figure. I think Wuher seems a very likely inclusion given the amount of floorspace given to the bar in this set. So I'd say option B) means Wuher and two Bith as the new figs, while option C) means Wuher and Ponda Baba EDIT: The fact that other recent releases have referred to new printing of old characters as new (See Republic Gunship, AT-TE) definitely steers towards A) being correct, but I'm gonna hold out hope/denial that the retailer catalog (which doesn't have as much marketing put into it) uses the term differently than the box eventually will. Obiously Lego has every incentive to paste "new" all over the box as often as they can, but there isn't as much impetus to put it in a preliminary retail catalog. Or at least that's what I'm gonna tell myself to help me sleep at night.
  18. pldeutelephonz, what people here are trying to say is that if you want to post a review with pictures (and reviews are worthless without pictures) you need to host the image files somewhere else (like the sites brickdoctor mentioned above) and then link to them here. All the reviews you see here don't actually post their pictures onto Eurobricks; they are posted onto other sites and the reviewers just use the link to have them show up in the post. This means that Eurobricks doesn't have to pay for the bandwidth of people posting these pictures. If you want to post a review, you'll almost certainly need to learn how to upload to one of those other sites.
  19. I think it is cheap because I was hoping for a set on the same scale as Jabba's palace. This set will be almost half that size.
  20. Hmm... interesting point. But we still have 3 preliminary squidwards that account for "two new figures". Maybe we are getting two new figures and the third Squidward is a rehash (Jawa perhaps?) Another thing I just noticed and am curious about- The cantina is clearly designed to be folded up, with the bar and the domed room coming together. But on the domed room there's a little 1x1 bit sticking out of an otherwise rectangular (10x9) base. Anyone have any idea what the purpose of this bit is? It doesn't appear to connect to the bar in anyway, unless the bar happens to be 7 deep (which is literally and figuratively an odd width to be using, though the dome is 9 deep so who knows) It is also curious that door on the domed room is connected by a hinge, but the bit sticking out doesn't allow the door to fully swing open.
  21. Cool, so that confirms that there is a third Squidward, Obiwan is the missing 8th figure, and that there is a bar. The fact that the bar has so much space behind the counter makes Wuher seem the most likely choice for a second "new fig"; obviously the counter was designed to have somebody behind it, and he's the only one that would make sense. (Though why use a squidward head for a human figure?) Ponda Baba remains a close second, since Lego loves to include conflict in their sets. This also confirms for me that the Cantina won't be modular like Jabba's palace was; if they already include Han's booth, the bar, and the droid scanner in this set, what could they possibly use to make a second attachment set? Let's keep our fingers crossed that we'll get more Cantina denizens as extra figs in other tatooine related sets, similar to how the A-Wing, Y-Wing, X-Wing and Tie Fighter came with figs that didn't necessarily fit inside those ships.
  22. I've pointed to the head and nose, and circled the two hands here.
  23. Nope, Greedo isn't a "new" minifig; he was included in the previous rendition of the Mos Eisley Cantina. He is also present in the picture: He's the blue bodied guy next to Han. I guess there's some room for argument, but the headbumps on that fig look pretty darn Rodian to me. So the third Squidward has to be a different character. To put it another way, we know the set has 8 figures. From the picture, we can see: 1. Luke 2. Han 3. Greedo 4. Stormtrooper 5. Squidward 1 6. Squidward 2 7. Squidward 3 8. Not pictured. So four are known, and four are unknown. We know that one of these unknowns has to be Obi-Wan. He COULD be one of the Squidwards, but I think it is unlikely because a) they have other versions of the character they could be using as a preliminary, and b) there's no reason to give a human character an alien head. So I am guessing Obi-Wan is figure 8, not pictured. This makes even more sense when you ask yourself "Who is driving the Landspeeder?" So that means we have 3 squidward heads that represent two different minifigures. As I said above, the fact that we get two identical "new" characters implies the likely idea they are Bith, or the rather unlikely idea that they are the Tonnika sisters (I don't think there are any other characters with which a pair would make sense except for Jawas, but they are not "new" figures). My initial thought for the third character would be Wuher the Bartender, but as a humanoid a preliminary Squidward head wouldn't make sense for him.
  24. Looking back at the picture, I guess it is debateable, but I think there is a third Squidward barely visible on the left side of the page, right next to the other two: http://statigr.am/p/623709506052597517_248619904#/detail/623709506052597517_248619904 You can see the top of his head (with some eye printing) and a bit of his nose, as well as his hand. Admittedly, the head is too blurry to guarantee as another squidward, but the color seems to match and the fact that there are two seperate patchs of color imply a long nose like Squidward has. And although I can't be sure which hand belongs to which figure, there are definitely two hands to the left of the first fully visible Squidward, so there is certainly a third figure that wasn't captured in the shot. I'm starting to feel like a JFK conspiracy nut- there was a third Squidward on the grassy knoll! EDIT: I'm having a tough time finding the higher res picture; can somebody post it here?
  25. I didn't think of that. If this is the case, I would much rather all three ghosts be an opaque blue instead of mixing translucent and opaque elements. The Electro figure really bugs me for this reason.
